There is a city (1.5%) and state tax (5.5%). Not sure if we can add any single dishes if needed, but will likely will be full after our plates. The spiced tea is super sweet. I asked for the tea without any sweetener or sugar, it was way too sweet for me. They only have this sweet tea and that's it. The red lentil was the better of all of the dishes. The collard green, yellow lentil, green peas or beans, cabbage, salad were all okay. The lamb and beef were okay, a bit overcooked. The chicken drumstick was cooked well and was falling off the bone. Their injera is quite puffy and billowy here than most places we have been to. It's very filling with one roll. The Jalapeño and garlic is quite potent, it's good, but be prepared to smell like garlic after the small portion of it. The combination plate has small portions of all of the veggies.

We shared a few starters: -Puri Sabji: These were crispy, thin bread slabs with a dipping sauce of seasoned veggies. It was nice and light for an appetizer, but I might have liked it with a softer bread vs. crispy. -Samosas: Potatoes fried up into a pastry with delicious spices and veggies. These are a favorite at a lot of places, and these held up to that. -Chicken Momo: Little pods of heaven! These were delicate little dumplings full of saucy chicken that melted in our mouths. And our main dishes were pretty delicious too: -Thukpa with Pork: Pretty similar to chicken noodle soup, but with pork! The broth was chicken though, so there was that flavor too. Salty, meaty, and savory. Perfect dish for a cold rainy day! -Pork Mashu Chiura: This was a dish with two kinds of rice (flat and puffed) along with a big section of flavorful pork. I loved the textures of the different rices, and you could mix them as you eat each bite for a few different textures and flavors. While the exterior is a little busy and bustling and may be off-putting, I think the nice ambiance inside and the quality of the food make a visit worth it.
