There is also outside patio seating in front of the building, which you can watch the Mascoma River flow under the bridge. The food here can be described as enhanced comfort food including a selection of appetizers, wings, soups, salads, burgers, handhelds, main entrees (ribeye steak, pork chops, chicken dishes, seafood dishes, pot pies, stuffed pepper & tomato, sweet potato alfredo), desserts, and childrens menu. The brunch menu offers egg entrees, omelettes, bennies, pancakes, French toast, biscuits & gravy, brunch sandos, and kids brunch selections. The prices here seem fair. The bar offers 8-10 draft beers, bottle/can beers, wine, liquor, cocktails, martinis, and non-alcoholic drinks. I stopped by Brick & Barrel for Sunday brunch. I took a seat up at the bar for prompt service. I got an ice water as I quickly decided to go with a BYO Omelette ($13 plus tax) with prime rib, salmon, & pepper jack cheese (add $1.50 plus tax) served with choice of hash browns or home fries and choice of toast. The place was moderately busy and my food was served in 20 minutes after ordering. The omelette (3 egg) was soft and fluffy mixed with pieces of tender prime rib & salmon and melted cheese. This was a very good "surf & turf" omelette. The hash browns were shredded and pan grilled soft. The toasted Portuguese muffin was good with the omelette. After I finished my brunch plate, I got the check with Toast QR code, which was $15.73 with tax and before tip. Overall, I enjoyed my tasty brunch "surf & turf" omelette. I will have to return here for dinner, which has some good choices like steak tips, fish & chips, seafood chowder, and B&B shortcake. The service at the bar was adequate.

I ordered the Fish & Chips Basket ($19.99 plus tax), fried haddock served with choice of side (I chose a cup of chowder instead of the default fries) and cole slaw. I was in Haverhill when I placed my order and headed east on NH 25 to Bobcat. I arrived 35 minutes later and my order was all set and bagged. I actually went outside to eat the food. The breades haddock was crisp outside with flaky haddock filet, tartar sauce provided. The chowder (cup portion) was smooth & creamy with minced clams, potatoes, onions & seasonings. The crunchy chopped cole slaw was wet and tangy. I would stop again at Bobcat Country Grill for food, and try some other things like their burgers and BBQ.

I stopped by Baby Moo's recently for ice cream to go with my fish & chips dinner I picked up next door. I picked out a 1 Scoop Sundae with 2 toppings choices ($7.95 plus tax). After ordering & paying, my sundae was handed to me in 6 minutes. It seems like the clear shallow plastic cup was small, more like a plastic lid used on a larger paper ice cream cup/bowl which had a modest scoop of the default vanilla ice cream (I should've specified a different flavor) topped with whipped cream, crushed Butterfinger & peanuts. The whipped cream was over the top of the plastic "cup" and I had to immediately put a napkin underneath and go to a picnic table. The sundae was fairly decent, but overpriced. Likely, more training is needed since they recently opened and actual feedback from customers to improve. Note, I visited another ice cream stand less than an hour before in Vermont and got a much better made sundae at a slightly lower price.
