What used to be a strong, popular but dated physical facility was transformed into a modern, efficient, welcoming and even elegant venue serving both skiers/riders and the general public. We came over to ski Tenney Mountain during one of the coldest days of the year. Below zero weather, wind, but the snow was pure fluff. And despite the slow lifts, the skiing was superb. Still, six runs in that temperature with a stiff wind took the energy out of me. That's when the Backcountry Bar and Grill came through with a superb Irish Coffee that allowed me to be back after thawing out, with new energy and desire to ski. We then came over here for an early Apre Ski. Five people had superb brews, superb Ultimate Grilled Cheese, awesome Chicken Sandwich. And a Backcountry Pulled Pork with an Apple bourbon barbecue sauce that had me licking my fingers. The bartender was the best I've seen in New England. We will be back because Tenney is one awesome ski mountain and because this wonderful venue makes it complete for customer experience.

It came out nice and hot-perfect to warm you up on a cold day. The veggie sandwich was delicious and had a decent amount of filling. We ordered at the counter and were given a buzzer for when it was ready so you knew it was made to order.

Returned with friends to catch up and have a nice time- love the setting; completely different from…read morethe other Common Man venues(inn and spa here). The room was a boiler room for a paper mill prior to being converted to the current complex. The menu is varied and I think better than other Common Man establishments. We started with calamari, Reuben fritters and pot stickers. I ordered the stuffed sole( crab and scallops). Others opted for the steak tips which also got good reviews Claire was wonderful as our waitress and kept the seven of us happy and satisfied. For dessert, we sampled the chocolate cake and coconut shaved ice cream(both recommended even if you are full). We have to return again before we head back South; worth the trip to Plymouth. Plenty of parking and reasonable prices for the quality of food.

Our server was excellent and the manager stopped by to see if we were enjoying ourselves. I had the French onion soup, which was very solid and the Asian noodles. Also very good but a bit spicier than I was expecting. I also tried the cocktail special which was the Beachy Bourbon, a bourbon Aperol combo that was very good. I'd definitely come back here if I was in the area. Great experience overall.

My friends and I went there for dinner on July 9th. We started by having a drink at the bar, and…read morethe service, views and decor were all fabulous. We then headed upstairs for dinner. Our server's name was Summer, and she was awesome! The sticky rib and lamb lollipop appetizers were delicious. I had a pork tenderloin special that I hope will be added as a regular menu item. The pear sauce that was drizzled over the pork was outstanding, and I would love to try that recipe at home. My friends got the Ribeye and the Seafood Paella, and both of those were excellent. Not a scrap was left on our plates, and we all agreed that it was the best meal that we have had out in years. We can't wait to back!

We were seated right by the window with an absolutely breathtaking view of the lake. No matter what the food tasted like, this was going to be a great experience. We had been working all day, and after 12 days working the Laconia Bike Week, we were tired and just wanted someplace to relax. This was a great choice. We started with a Beet Salad for me and New England Clam Chowder for my dining partner. He seems to be on a roll to find the best clam chowder, as he's ordered it just about everywhere. He said this was good, and my salad was excellent as well. I got the Seafood Paella and he ordered the Crispy Duck. He said the duck was very good, and it came on the saffron rice that was served with my paella dish. The paella was jam packed with seafood. I'd say it's an Americanized version of paella, but was still very good. They do make saffron rice using real saffron as opposed to saffron powder. The shellfish was plentiful and had scallops, shrimp, mussels, and clams. There was edamame instead of peas, which is a bit unusual, but still good. All the seafood was cooked nicely. There was a little too much andouille sausage for my liking, which I removed. With all the food, there was no room for dessert. This was an outstanding way to end a very long week.
