Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

The bread has a garlic butter spread, the steak is of high quality (far better than anything from the local bodega), and the cheese and onions bring it all together. I couldn't finish it and the bread held up until the next day, so that was a plus for me. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended.

Definitely the BEST MEXICAN food you'll find in all of NYC! Not only are their deliveries speedy but their customer service is always dynamite. They never have a problem modifying a dish or sandwich for me (which is amazing because I'm a very picky eater!) I have tried nearly all of their Torta's and Tacos and I'm always left wanting more! My favorite items from their menu are the Chicken Quesadillas and their Jalapeno King salad. Also, if you live around here, you know you cannot find a good panini for miles! If you are a lover of everything spicy, try their Guajillo Tamales! I eat here at least three times a week; I never get tired of their food! They even have great lunch specials; if you're familiar with mole and pipian, they randomly have these served as a lunch special! This is 100% the best Mexican food I've ever had on the East Coast - maybe anywhere, ever. I literally dream at night about their cemitas and tortas, they're that awesomely good. I'd never tasted fresh oaxaca cheese before trying the Jalapeno King - now I'm obsessed with it. The food is excellent value, very cheap for the quality and quantity. The best Torta you will ever have in Brooklyn!!! My favorite torta is called "The Jalapeno King" this has pork, steak and jalapeño strips. The brand and cheese melt right on the bun and the juices from the meat make this a mouth watering bite every time!!! If you don't eat steak or pork they have different options.
