Great food and closest alternative to the ponchos on all can eat. Can get very busy and a waiting line.

The only reason I I didn't give 5 stars is because I would have preferred picadillo inside of my chile relleno instead of the choice of cheese, fajita beef or chicken. It was still tasty. The ranchero sauce was a bit odd tasting but not bad. Due to a miscommunication, I got queso on top the second trip here. I was pleasantly surprised! Overall, good. If you're just going for chips n' salsa and margaritas then it's perfect. Queso is disgusting probably from powder, rice was cold and dry had zero flavor not even salty. I even had to put salt and pepper on enchiladas... ohh I almost forgot, the refried beans were good. Still 1 star, you're better off going to Taco Bell. read more

Probably the best place to eat in town. I love their cheese enchiladas with green sauce but always have to ask for onions and sometimes they forget. Their beans and rice are good too. I like their fajita quesidilas . My son and his friends get the all you can eat enchiladas for like 8$ can't beat the deal. Good margaritas and service is always fast and very pleasant. Downside in the summer sometimes it seems really hot in there. I met a date there once and we had drinks and salsa and left after because we both got so hot. Overall a really great and inexpensive place and nowhere else in Farmersville has better food in my opinion/ except at home! read more

Extremely slow and uncaring service. I have never been in any other Mexican food restaurant in Texas that was so stingy with the hot sauce. We were brought about 1/4 cup for two people at the beginning of the meal and even after getting up to track our waitress down to ask for more we were served just a tiny bit more. We have visited this location twice with the same results-the food is average at best, the service is almost non-existent and we were not made to feel welcome at all. We will not be back. read more

This restaurant is pretty bad. Slow service and horrible food. And they have zero ability to think outside the posted menu. Guacamole is priced at $1.79 for a very small scoop (about 1 tsp). When I asked for more guacamole they brought me TWO whole teaspoons but charged me the full price of their "guacamole salad" for it. asked if I could get avocado instead of chicken or beef in a dish and that was unheard of because "avocados are too expensive to allow as substitutions." Honestly every time I have went here the food has been less than. Very run of the mill standard mexican food nothing special. However in ordering a margarita your getting about 85% mix. The queso doesn't even really taste like anything. To add on the best service I received here was from one of the bus boys (SUPER nice) noticing we haven't been taken care of yet, only to have a waitress (whom I believe doesn't know how to smile and is extremely cold anytime I have been in there) half way through the meal wanted to take over. Needless to say she wasn't tipped, we tipped the bus boy cash directly to him, and between the service and the bad food will not be returning. read more

I have been visiting this restaurant since they only had a location in McKinney. In fact, my husband and I went there before we married 15 years ago, and we always loved it for the fresh, hot chips, free queso, and great prices, especially on the all you can eat menu items. My daughter begs to go here a couple of times month or more. I only have one complaint; the new Farmersville location just isn't up to par. The waitresses are lazy, the atmosphere is horrible, and it seems like the cook doesn't care at all what comes out of the kitchen. So it really is a crap shoot. read more

Last review was about a year ago. This is still the best food in Farmersville. They are always friendly and efficient. The food is spicy enough for us. It is not the Tex-mex type that kills your taste buds. It has a little zing and you taste everything. The other Mexican restaurants and BBQ joints in Farmersville are sad. This place makes us stop, rather than go on to Mckinney or Lavon. It has been there for almost 10 years and you always get a good meal. They have beer for dessert. Had lunch there today. read more

It won't allow me to give 0 stars. First time the farmersville Jalapeños. I ordered a top shelf margarita. The ice was cold but the drink and glass were warm. 15 minutes later our order was taken. 20 minutes later my food was out first. Carné asado. Pretty safe right? No! Covered in cheese and uncooked onions with three slivers of bell peppers. None of which were grilled or cooked through. I returned it without tasting it. This plate is what I always order when trying a new place to judge the over all quality. Not good. I love Tex mex and real Mexican food. Neither of which is what I was served. read more

We love this place and it is our top choice whenever we want Mexican food. They have something for everyone. I like spicy. Check. My husband likes mild. Check. They give you both queso and salsa with their chips. And it is delicious. We barely have room for our food when it arrives - and it arrives quickly - so you know how fast we scarf down the chips and dip. The food is always fresh and hot and yummy. I usually get the California burrito which is huge and so I take half home for lunch the next day. My husband loves their cheese and onion enchiladas. I urge you to try it.
