Chips and salsa are complimentary. Then our entrees. Everyone was happy with their meals for the most part. I ordered the steak chimichanga with rice and beans and I was not impressed. The amount of napkins it took to remove the oil from the plate is crazy and all I tasted was oil and no flavor of the steak if it was seasoned. All that extra oil really upset my stomach. It is very laid back and easy going. It will have to say it was very popping! There was a huge party that filled the entire store! That's how one knows it's good I will say! The food was excellent. I got the tortas and I did like it a lot. The chicken was very juicy and very tasty. I could tell the cooks really cared about the dish and even my friend food. Also, both my wife and I experienced stomach discomfort and frequent trips to the restroom that evening and the next day, but our sons didn't not have an issue. I've been around here a few times, and indeed I've been impressed by their excellent customer service, quality of food, and the experience. Now their burritos can vary in pricing. Firstly there's the Mexican Burrito- resembling Bistec/Pechugas al la Mexicana (A classic Hispanic cuisine that has a tomato sauce, with sautéed onions, jalapeños, and tomatoes) with beans, cheese, and lettuce. Another recommendation is the Tapatio burrito, ribeye, grilled onions, bell peppers, beans, and cheese. The coup de grâce Id for this review their breakfast burrito, any meat of your choosing with potatoes, eggs, beans, cheese, and lettuce! This rating is a culmination of all my experience from this establishment, and overall I'd give them a 9/10- Excellent. However, my recent visit has left me somewhat dissatisfied as I ordered the breakfast burrito only to have missed the potatoes and eggs in my order. Yet, despite the missing ingredients, I enjoyed the order I made while. I consider them great in the other visits I have to this place. Jalisco Mexican Restaurant is a fairly good authentic restaurant with decent salsa. I would say that they are just average for authentic Mexican food. I have eaten here twice now. The first time I had Lengua with verde salsa. I typically love Lengua, but this one was just all right. It didn't have the great flavor I have come to love and enjoy when I typically order it at other authentic Mexican restaurants. On my second visit I decided to try something simple and ordered the Flautas, unfortunately these were also just all right. As for the service, on my first visit which was on a Friday evening it was fairly busy and took over 30 minutes to even get water. I had to ask a few times to separate individuals to get a glass of water while waiting to even put in an order. If I hadn't have been there with co workers I would have left. On my second visit again with coworkers it wasn't busy at all with only about 1-2 tables of other people and the service was very good. Overall, if you are hungry and ours not busy you can get average edible authentic Mexican food, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at this restaurant, especially if it's busy at all. read more

Had only 2 cups of the green salsa, they didn't pack a red one like other places do. I also ordered a small fry on the side. We went on a what appeared to be a busy evening. There was about a 15 minute wait. Unfortunately there was not a great waiting area, especially with 2 kids. I found it surprising that we didn't recieve any chips/salsa. I couldn't recall going to a Mexican restaurant where you did not recieve chips and salsa while you waited. The staff did appear courteous and friendly. This restaurant came highly recommended by neighbors in the area. The food was good, not great. I have been there before and the food is ok. I really like the chicken soup. Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service today was not good. We left the restaurant. We were there waiting for 20min and they would not even come to take our drink order. We were between two other booths and we decided to leave after the waitress was taking their order even even they had arrived 15min after we did. I order from here at least five times a week, and they NEVER disappoint. The asada tacos and the asada Chilaquiles are always so good. I have diet restrictions as well and they have been very kind and accommodating to my strange requests.
