I ordered 3 tacos dorados de pollo which were tepid, 2 tostadas de camaron it was served on 2 thin tostadas which made them soggy ( better brand of tostadas is El Milagros Caseras). The lemonade was too watered down, the Jamaica was good. Beans were too thick no flavor, rice was good. Prices were decent. It was comfortable to sit. What a perfect place for Taco Tuesday! First of all, great service. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us at a good pace. Second, the food was so good! This was my first time visiting and as a note, the tacos are individual taco orders and not like a set meal. So I ordered 2 Chicken Tacos Dorados, 1 Al Pastor Taco (I love Al Pastor), and a tamale. They were so good! I ate them quick because I couldn't get enough of a bite. Squeezed some lime over them, used both of the salsas they offered, and went to town on my food. I wish I didn't eat lunch because I really wanted more! Most importantly, the prices are very affordable! Great prices, great food, great service? And if you have time to, they also offer drinks. Here is yet another one of these Aurora cantinas. It seems like these are a dime a dozen. Jalisco Tacos Autentico is certainly authentic though. Find some seriously straight from Mexico style food here. They got a lot of exotic meats but not a whole lot for vegetarians. Always margaritas are a good choice here. It's $8 for most. They have the common flavors like lime and a few other fruits like mango and pineapple. Know these are a bit saltier than usual Mexican American places because these are authentic. The vegetarian options are lacking but among these I like the Avocado Tostada. It's $7 for a pretty small ass one. This has avocados, beans, jalapeños, lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes. Leave anything off if you like. The avocado and beans are good though. Good representation of authentic Mexican. It would be a lot better with improved service especially when getting checks and trying to get out. They also could use more things for vegetarians. read more

Friendly staffing. Always busy! I had order tacos of tripe and both times I have said well done/crispy and the tripes were soggy and not well done. Very disappointing as I was craving well done tacos. The store is really clean and organized that would be my only positive feed back. We eat here all the time. The food is very consistent and flavorful. The problems we run into is the checkout. They make you pay at the front and you have to wait in an extremely long line where people are ordering, getting takeout and other are waiting to pay. This should be streamlined when customers are trying to leave. Otherwise the food is great here, just hate to wait 5-10 mins to checkout. Last time we waited over 10 mins and then the credit machine was down and force to pay in cash. Luckily I had some on me which I usually never do. read more

I love coming here with my family. The food is always phenomenal. My favorite thing to order is the steak torta. Oh my god this dish is just phenomenal. I've tried tortas at a lot of different places, but they never will compare to here. The bread is extra crispy and everything is perfected to my liking. The service is fast and the workers are very nice and accommodating. Overall very homey ambiance and the food is traditional as well as the environment adds to it. My all time favorite authentic taco restaurant. I always bring guests from out of town here and they always rage and miss their food. The service is good but don't expect too much when it is crazy busy. You seat yourself, they take your order and serve you. My families order is always the usual: hard shell taco with shredded beef, al pastor tacos w/ a side of rice and beans, guac and chips, and always an horchata! Usually it is a wonderful experience but not tonight. I was so disappointed because I ordered fajitas and the food came immediately but the flour tortillas took forever! What Mexican restaurant doesn't have tortillas available for 10+ minutes? By the time the tortillas came, my food was cold! It also took too much time to get my 2nd Coke. Inside is fairly large, they have quite a few tables. We ordered a al pastor taco dinner for my wife and I had a large pastor burrito. First off, their salsa verde was very good, I love green salsa. The Buretto was large (as ordered) with a good amount of filling, it lacked a bit of texture but had excellent flavor. This is probably my favor Mexican restaurant in the area. Had steak tacos and a chicken sope. Lots of steak and they were hot and fresh. Chicken sope was hugh and very tasty. Margaritas were great.
