Jam has a super cute ambience inside and out. The wait was pretty long [40 minutes] but the estimate given to us at the door was accurate if not overestimated, and it was about 11:30 on a Sunday. We had plans at 1:30, so once we were sat we moved really quickly to order and eat and were in and out of our seats in 20 minutes, but the service was excellent and speedy to accommodate our needs. Everyone in our group loved their food, and I can attest that the cinnamon bun french toast was absolutely incredible, a must-get if you're a cinnamon roll fan. Jam is my favorite brunch spot. I was there recently on a weekday and had a lovely experience. The food was good, and I appreciated that the waiter didn't rush us - my friend and I had plenty of time to catch up and since it wasn't busy he seated her before I arrived. Plan ahead on a weekend though because it can get pretty crowded. Jam has two seating areas. The section you see when you walk in has a bar, some booths, and the bathrooms (I've been chilly in this section in the winter). There is a second area with more seating if you make a right when you enter and walk along the windows. I recommend Jam and look forward to going back! read more

Great reviews on their eggs Benedict that I just had to stop by and try it. I knew to expect long wait times due to the reviews I read. My fiancée and I arrived at 1pm on a Sunday and were told it's a 45 min wait. We decided to wait it out and they took our number. The good thing is they send you a text when your table is ready. We asked about bar seating and were told its first come first serve basis. After waiting 10 mins two seats became available and we sat down. Our waitress was great! We ordered an order of eggs Benedict, side of corned beef hash and short stack. Coffee was great and we ordered one mimosa which look at my picture(you make your own) it worked out great we got about 4 glasses worth. This spot has the classic American brunch, with fresh ingredients and a sense of home! They don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait, especially if you're coming Friday - Sunday. We came on a Friday afternoon around 1PM, and were told it would be about a 30 minute wait. We were seated at exactly that. For drinks, we got a Bloody Mary and a mimosa. The mimosa comes DIY, with a small serving of orange juice and a personal champagne mini. This ended up serving 2 glasses! For $10?! What a steal. For entrees, we got the Classic Breakfast and the N'awlins. Simple dishes but hearty and flavorful! You really can't beat the prices either, the bill was under $50 with drinks included! Jam is in the category of being a notch above with a focus on a quality brunch with solely morning and afternoon hours. They have an orderly check in and will text you when your table is ready, but they could probably benefit from using Yelp Wait list. Jam has a well thought out menu and I like their crepe and "this and that" sections which has some good additions and shareable items. I got the greek yogurt parfait that was loaded with granola and fresh fruit - a great addition to my Benedict. The Florentine Benedict had a perfectly poached egg atop sauteed spinach and a delicious roasted tomato. I easily substituted a cheddar biscuit for the English muffin, which was a solid move. The coffee was more of bowl than a cup of a smooth satisfying brew. My friend was pleased with her omelet for the most part, but found the bacon to be a little bit too overdone and crispy. The potatoes they serve with their eggs were perfect golden nuggets I couldn't stop eating. Besides the too cooked bacon, what is my gripe here that knocks off a star? Carpet! Why, why, why do restaurants have carpets ever!? Food, drinks and spillage + carpet does not equal a good combo. And whyyyy the pukey green stripes that matches the walls? Paint the walls another (lighter) color and add some wood flooring (or ceramic tile that looks like wood) - it will make a huge difference here. read more

After reading all the great yelp reviews, it was time to try this breakfast/ brunch/lunch place. Glad I did. I went with 3 other people and we were all happy with the service and food. I had the huevos rancheros. I loved it. The eggs were listed as scrambled, but they were more like baked, scrambled, almost cake-like. The home fries were nice sized squares of potatoes fried. They are not served like the traditional homes fries with pepper and onions. The other choice was waffle fries, which I was told were good. Their omelettes are huge! Stuffed with whatever u want. Someone in my party had it stuffed with shortribs and she loved it. The egg white omelette was good,too, stuffed with spinach leaves. We each had iced coffee and it was good. I definitely hope I get back there because I'd like to try their banana candied walnut pancakes!!! UPDATE: I came back with my husband and daughter. I almost ordered the banana pancakes but instead ordered the eggs Benedict with pastrami. Bad choice. The pastrami was fatty, tough and stringy. The eggs were served almost warm but now quite. The rye bread was burnt. My daughter ordered the lobster Benedict. Again wrong choice. The lobster meat was cold as were the eggs. My husband ordered eggs over easy with corned beef. I've heard good things about Jam so finally decided to check out the menu on Yelp when me and my fiancé were looking for a breakfast spot. After seeing that they had legit vegan options, which most places don't, I had to give it a try. THE PLACE: we got there around 11am and the it was pretty crowded. They told us it would be a 50minute wait but it ended up being around 25 minute and was definitely worth the wait. The decor is super cute and very homey. You feel like you want to eat there the second you walk through the door. THE FOOD: the food was a 10/10. I decided to get the vegan ranch which was a little difficult to eat because of the tortillas being kind of stuck together that the bottom of the plate, but needless to say it was still very delicious. It also came with a little side of potatoes that were sooo good and crunchy and not greasy like what other places have. My fiancé got the cubano panini which he also loved and we both left feeling stuffed and satisfied from our meals. THE DRINKS: I got the DIY Mimosa which was so much better than when you order a mimosa anywhere else. GENIUS!! they give you a personal small champagne with a side of orange juice so you can do the champagne to OJ ratio you like instead of just being victim to whatever the bartender makes. I absolutely loved this and my inner lush would come back just for that! Unfortunately for my fiancé they didn't have any of the spiked lattes on the menu when we were there.
