The service was good, nothing amazing nothing horrible. It was very bright and cute in there so it was pleasant to sit and dine. I will start with the good- the French fries that I asked for extra crispy were soooo good, nice and crunchy just how I like it and I also tasted my husband's garlic fries and they were delicious. I also really enjoyed the coffee.... I asked for an iced vanilla latte with extra espresso and it was perfect. Now for the rest of the food I was not impressed...wasn't horrible or inedible but just very bland. I got a chicken caesar wrap and it tasted like nothing I think they even forgot to put the Caesar dressing in it. My kids ate and enjoyed the pancakes but they aren't light and fluffy like they are at the diner they were kinda tough as I was cutting them up. My husband liked the burger and said he'd get it again but to me there was an odd sweet flavor that I didn't care for but again not the worst thing. I will definitely be back for the coffee...maybe I'd give the food another try one day.

Went with my son on Saturday for a breakfast date. Lots of seating and cute look in there. I got an iced coffee and the special sticky toffee pudding pancakes. While I did not think they were very much like sticky toffee pudding they were great. Definitely heavy in ginger and so tasty. The butter they had on top was fluffy and delicious. I ate about half. It was big. The gem of this place is the cheap kids meals! My son got buttermilk pancakes for $6!! And he could only eat about half also. I have 4 kids so this will definitely be a breakfast stop for us since it's so affordable.

A light and airy new restaurant to the area. The menu has something for everyone. We were promptly seated and the waitress was attentive and eager to explain how their menu worked. My hubby had a coffee, granola bowl, and breakfast burrito. He gave the place a solid 10/10 which says a lot bc he's a tough critic. I had the complete which was a bec on brioche roll with hash brown and an iced cinnamon roll almond milk latte. Prices were reasonable. Only thing that was odd is their plate sizes are super small. I guess it's the vibe they're going with as most things are a la carte and things would look "lost" on the plate idk. I really can't complain otherwise and I'm ready to go back already! Oh yea, there is an app which is a point system which is cool too.

Third time coming here :) food was good but the service needs improvement. They have these cups for water and they didn't get filled until after we got our drinks. And didn't check on us to see if we were good throughout the experience. It's a small space but cute! I love the layout! Might come back again..

If you're looking for a trendy place to get brunch, you found your spot. If you're looking to enjoy what you're eating not so much. Food was subpar. I was shocked at the fact that I ordered hashbrowns at a brunch place and got a fried frozen potato patty, I could've gotten the same thing at the McDonald's drive-through. Honestly, I probably would've rather have gotten a bacon egg and cheese Mc griddle. The staff was nice, but I don't think I'll be back. it was very loud and filled with high school kids.

Delicious food, great service and a very cute space. Loved the breakfast burrito (no beans) the wrap itself was very tasty. Great that they serve breakfast until 4pm. Definitely recommend!

I've been to the Granola Bar at another location a few times for coffee, so I was excited when this one opened closer. I came here the other day for brunch, and it did not disappoint. I got a chicken caesar wrap and an iced french toast latte. The food here was delicious and the ambiance was very aesthetic. My one and only complaint would be the service... maybe it was just our waitress, but she rarely checked in on us and it took a while to get her attention at the end when we wanted to place an order to go. Other than that, the place is cute and I'd still go back again because they have a really good menu.

Food was ok, kind of bland. Service was ok and everything just pretty average. They need to step up their brunch game.

Everything we get here is consistently delicious, zero complaints! The drinks were great too, including the watermelon juice, regular coffee, and lattes. We couldn't be happier with the service and the food. I will always recommend My Grandmother's Kitchen for brunch!

They asked for drink orders and we were left alone for a long time until the drinks arrived. Though we were ready to order, the server just dropped off our drinks and went to bring another table upstairs. I went down to the counter to get someone to take our order, and it took nearly an hour before our order was in (and even then, they took the order of the second table before taking our party's order). It was almost an hour and a half since we entered the restaurant when the food finally arrived at our table, and then it took so long for someone to come with our check and process payment, we went down to the counter to do it. During this time, another family was seated upstairs and left due to not being attended to. This caused big delays in our day and I had to cancel an appointment because we spent over two hours at this restaurant when we didn't want to. That said, food was good. I got the lemon blueberry pancake, which was a little bit gummy but mostly tasted fine. My brother got the mangu, which is kinda hard to find around here, let alone on the menu of a breakfast brunch restaurant. It was my brother's first time having it, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Besides him choosing scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs, it was very classic mangu breakfast. The real crabmeat omelet was another hit-- crabmeat was so real there were little pieces of shell lining-- really ambitious and deliciously executed. The menu is really fun and the food was overall good. Again, I think the very slow service wasn't on purpose and it's because they didn't anticipate such a large crowd on a Friday, but I would say run if they try to seat you upstairs and you're the only ones up there. Be prepared to wait for a long time if you want the reward of nice food.

We were seated immediately, and from there the experience just kept getting better. The menu has something for everyone, including a vegan menu plus the regular menu all had vegan alts as well, which is surprisingly rare for any place and especially a brunch spot. Everything we ordered was excellent. The piña colada pancakes were a standout, topped with pineapple chunks, whipped cream, and coconut flakes for the perfect balance of sweet and tropical. The pigs in pancakes were another favorite, featuring sausages wrapped in fluffy pancakes and beautifully presented. We also loved the loaded home fries--a mix of regular and sweet potatoes topped with melted cheese, jalapeños, and bacon bits. They were packed with flavor. The alcoholic drink menu is fairly limited, but the mimosas were well made, generously poured, and hit the spot. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. One of the most memorable parts of the restaurant is its unique atmosphere. A large werewolf statue greets you at the entrance, and the Gothic, Halloween-inspired décor gives the place a fun personality that sets it apart from the typical brunch spot. There's also outdoor seating if you prefer to dine outside. If you're looking for a unique brunch experience with great food, friendly service, and plenty of menu variety, Cornucopia Nursery is definitely worth checking out.
