Very very slow service. This new bruegger's doesn't even compare to the old one that they replaced here in town. I was a regular at the old bruegger's and it was great because the employees were so friendly and the service was fast. I just went in here to get a juice and a bagel with cream cheese and it took almost 10 minutes. There were only 3 people ahead of me with small orders as well. UPDATE- Gave this location another try and nothing has changed. This time after standing at the register waiting to order, and making eye contact with 3 different employees in a span of 5 minutes none of them said a simple "hi," or "I'll be right with you." Bagels are good. Jamba is good. Love pitaya bowls. Problem is the staff, while friendly, seems to always make a mistake. Not sure where the confusion is. Beware that a mistake can lead to unexpectedly long delays getting the food. As a result, had to inhale my food within 10 minutes so I wouldn't be late to a work meeting. Having a hard time understanding the numerous negative reviews here. The staff is friendly and competent, keeping the line moving at a normal pace. The food is exactly the same as other good Bruggers locations, nothing more or less. Bruggers coffee isn't great in general at any location. Saying Dunkins is better, is only an agreeable statement due to the numerous sugary options to doll up the also poor quality coffee. Tried this bagel shop for the first time today for breakfast. The bagels are pretty good and not too expensive. We ordered a jalapeno cheddar bagel with jalapeno cream cheese and a nova lox bagel and 2 twice baked hashbrowns. The bagels were fresh and tasted yummy. I enjoyed the spiciness of the jalapeno combo. The hashbrowns tasted a little greasy and caloric, it wasnt my favorite, but worth a try. We also got a hot coffee (lukewarm) and an espresso which was surprisingly not bad (for someone who doesnt like espressos). Overall I'd come back here if I'm craving bagels. We attempted to visit this location on 11-21-2020, however, even though the "Jamba" website states that they are open till 5pm, we were surprised to find that, in fact, this location was only open till 2pm! Even YELP shows the hours as being 6am - 3pm! In addition, during our 11-22-2020 visit we witnessed a line of customers waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting! I can't believe that customers would "continually" put up with the absurdly long wait times at this location. In addtion, it appears that management has done nothing to fix the problem even after countless negative reviews! As well, were told that the "Vanilla Blue Sky" bowl on the website was not even available at this location????? I ordered the Banana Smoothie and found it to to be rather tasteless. We went to Breuggers today before noon she just get in a quick breakfast sandwich. We were surprise when we saw the line (lot of people waiting) but we got our food fairly quickly. When we got home to eat our food, we understood why we got our food so quickly. Our order was completely wrong. My husband asked for a Western with no cheese and egg white (due to dietary restrictions ) instead of their regular egg- he got cheese and a regular egg. There are only 2 people working on the bagel-making side, Jamba juice counter, and register. There were 2 parties ahead of me in line and it took 14 minutes to get my sandwiches. And then my tomato and cheese melt was...not melted! It was good, though, aside from the wait and lack of meltedness. Sometimes while driving on the hell on earth that is Great Road during a morning commute, I decide it's time for breakfast. When I'm feeling particularly sick or masochistic, I choose Bruegger's! This place is awesome if you don't like flavor. It's awesome that they make their bagels there, but they all taste the goddamn same. Plain is plain, cinnamon/sugar is plain but sticky, an everything bagel is plain with stuff that spills in your lap if you try to eat it in the car. I've tried so hard to really enjoy what I'm eating but it's so boring. All the bagels tastes the same, the eggs don't taste like anything, sausage/bacon/cheese doesn't taste like anything. You're only hope at getting any sort of flavor out of this place is getting something like sriracha on a sandwich or a flavored cream cheese...or if you're REALLY luck the cinamon raisin bagel might have 1 or 2 raisins in it. that taste surprisingly like raisins. Don't get me started on the coffee. It's watered down and bland and if I didn't actually look into the cup I would think I'm drinking hot water. Now this isn't the fault of this location per say. As a Bedford resident, I was looking forward to Bruegger's re-opening, since we don't have many options, especially at breakfast time. I've been there close to ten times now, so hoping any growing pains or honest mistakes were out of their system. The place cannot get it together. I always order some type of bagel, toasted, with schmear. How hard can that be? Well, for the good folks behind the counter, its mission impossible. I've received mangled bagels, burned bagels, squashed bagels, or in some cases, the skimpiest portion of cream cheese. Oh, and here's a tip, if the order is to-go, maybe you could go the extra mile and toss in a napkin or two? I haven't ventured into the brave world of the Jamba Juice....given most of them start at $6 then go up (with a full day's supply of sugar), but maybe they could wash down the burnt, squashed, cheese-less bagels. However, the downfall is with customer Service. The employees look like they do not want to be there and they had attitudes when I altered recipes due to allergies. The line always moves slowly. It's a bagel store. That would be one that sells bagels, not four-course gourmet dinners. Their bagels are surprisingly good and probably the closest thing to real bagels on this side of the East River. The coffee is good and generally the service is good too. They have a number of different flavors of cream cheese and will toast your bagels to whatever amount of toasting suits you. Beyond the bagels - be careful. It's a bagel store. Period. read more

I've come here probably about a dozen times, because it is on my way between dropping my kid off at Grandma's, and my place of employment, and I like to avoid DD. Every time I come here, I order a Western egg sandwich on a honey grain. The Western should have green peppers, onions, bacon, cheese, and eggs, with a chipotle sauce. Every single time they make it differently. One time it was a single thin slice of fresh green pepper and raw onion. Another time it was a large dollop of pickled peppers. One time it was fresh red peppers, another time roasted red peppers. Sometimes the bagel is drenched in chipotle sauce, sometimes it appears there is no chipotle sauce at all. Today, my Western sandwich has no vegetables at all, but lots and lots of bacon...and apparently mayo (what?). So, no stars for consistency of product. Bruegger's Bagels and Jamba Juice is nothing less of a fine dining experience. With squishy bagels cooked to perfection topped with the most creamy cream cheese on the planet. My partner had got the nutty strawberry bowl and was not pleased with the texture. The taste was there but sadly the texture could not come along for the ride. With a liquidity texture I have to say I was not pleased. If you come here and don't order a plain bagel with the plainest of cream cheese. For work we were put in a really nice hotel that didn't include breakfast and we were fairly secluded. So, if we were going to eat there we paid some outrageous prices. This place is friendly, quick, and has some gem selections on their breakfast sandwich menu. Was a great local stop for visiting the area. The manager was super sweet and didn't charge us for coffee. Bruegger's makes excellent bagels. The staff at this location just cant seem to get it right though. Almost without fail, they screw up somethign about the order. 90% of the time, they simply forget what the order was. I've ordered a dozen bagels and found they just left 1 or 2 out of the order. I've ordered coffee + toasted bagel, and got only my coffee. The coffee has been disappointing everytime. I dont know exactly what's going wrong there, I'll probably just stop ordering that. read more

I'm actually at the one in ANDOVER now but for some reason it's not on yelp. Anyway, I was impressed with my Western bagel sandwich. I ate cheese, egg, and bacon, in a bagel sandwich, with some really good sauce. As a sauce man, the sauce can be a deal breaker, or a deal maker. In this case it was the latter. I'm not sure why the reviews are low for this place but I liked my food. I also ordered a cup of coffee, and it wasn't fair-trade or organic or anything special like that. So the Andover location in particular I give four stars because I like the seating too and I was treated with respect. There is some window seating and plenty of space further inside. read more

I have to agree with Mike -- This brugger's certainly has it's growing pains. The one in Lexington, MA is very efficient, and always fresh and delicious. For some reason the first time I tried this place my bagel was extremely chewy - A disappointing start to my morning really. But I decided to give it a second try because I had some coupons to use up. This morning I chose a 'hot' sesame bagel and got the cream cheese of the day - raspberry - and have to say i really enjoyed it! They do seem short staffed with one person cashiering and filling the orders, but it's a good test of patience! This will not become a regular for me, but it's local and has an open-airy feeling.
