First time, food was very good. I had the corn fritters, brown rice, black beans, salad bowl. I loved it. A large portion. My friend ordered the summer falafel bowl which was very good as well. There were plenty of GF options. The food arrived quickly. It was fairly quiet, clean look. Menu was extensive. My only suggestion would be to have more salt shakers available. Went again. Same issues. I don't feel like the people working here want to work here. I hated going to the Lowell location. The parking was awful, but once you were inside, it felt like everyone cared about the food and their customers. I waited 30 minutes for a sandwich. During my lunch break. I really wish I liked it more, but I think clover makes better vegetarian sandwiches if you're grabbing and going. If you're dining in, this spot has a much better space and a better drink selection. It's interesting because sooo many of the reviews here are negative, although I just visited this spot and had a very positive experience. If anything, I feel this place opened a little bit early and could've trained the staff a bit more, but other than that, I have a glowing review. For starters, the parking lot is pretty large, so there are plenty of places to park. Upon entering the establishment, I noticed how clean and organized everything looked. There was a woman there to greet me and I put my order in right away. I ordered a number of different items and she let me know about a deal where if you order $30 worth of food, you get five dollars off. I appreciated that knowledge and decided to order even more. All of the food came out exactly as expected, the hot items were hot and the cold were cold. I also felt as though the space were welcoming overall. My food was very good and consistent with the other Life Alive locations I've been to. I will likely be back to this location time and again, and I would recommend it to others. read more

So exciting that one of my favorite restaurants is expanding to Burlington. I had the opportunity to taste some new menu items right before their upcoming grand opening and the items were delicious! It is a spacious location and since it is not as space constrained as some of their other MA locations, they have some new menu items which most of the nearby locations don't have. It is also nice that they have a free parking lot, a luxury not available at most of their other locations. read more

I dont mind expensive if the food is good but we both had issues with our food my smoothie tasted unpleasant as there were chunks of protein powder in it they made me a new one same issue. When i mentioned my issue with my smoothie she took it to heart.. :( My daughter didn't care for her latte it wasn't blended good there were big chunks of seasoning made it taste bad we paid $30. I used to go to other life alive super often back in the day, but I haven't been around the locations much. I was so so so excited when this location opened in Burlington. I am a huge fan and my first order was really great. I had half a mushroom shawarma pita and lemon& rice soup. I also had a smoothie that was very good, not too sweet but still such a treat. I did a take out order so I didn't explore the location much, but it seems really beautiful. I didnt interact with staff much other than just saying hi, but they seemed friendly and were all hard at work. The mushroom shawarma pita had so many fresh flavors, details and layers. It was beyond delicious. I am a soup fan and the lemon soup was unique, hearty and really yummy. Can't wait to get it again. My parents also got take out that day a few hours after I went (after I peer pressured them) and my dad said his tofu was really dry but his peanut noodles were super yummy. My mom said the falafel didn't taste fresh and was very overcooked, dry and hard but the rest of the salad was good. Obviously bummed my parents' first taste of life alive wasn't fantastic but I think they'll enjoy it next time as the location gets into the swing of things. read more

I love life alive and was excited that they are now in Burlington! Unfortunately, I've had a couple of disappointing experiences. Most recently, I ordered a mushroom shawarma for takeout, but it wasn't bagged, and the dish itself did not have any mushrooms or salad--just lentils, onions, and a little hummus. This was quite different from what I expected. When I called to let the restaurant know, my call was disconnected. Previously, I had also ordered a peanut butter power smoothie, and it did not contain any peanut butter. read more

I have loved Life Alive for almost 15 years but always went to the Cambridge location. I was so happy to see this new Burlington spot open. I'm surprised by the low reviews because I had a great experience. I ordered the strawberry smoothie which was delicious - like a healthy milkshake! I ordered 3 grain bowls that were also awesome. The staff were super helpful and willing to bring my take out order to my car since I couldn't go in to get it. Highly recommend! read more

The iced caramel sea salt latte definitely tastes like salt but not in a good way. it tasted like after you get hurt by a wave in the ocean, instead of spending 7 dollars on a small coffee just eat a teaspoon of salt or take your ass to dunkin. And the barista took 30 years to make one coffee. I don't recommend at all. read more
