I came here for an Acai Bowl. This place looked dirty. The customer service was poor. There were 3 people working and all 3 employees had no sense of urgency to help the customers. I also got a tomato stick which was sadly the worst stick I have gotten at a Jamba Juice. It tasted like it was weeks old and hard. It's always disappointing coming to this location. The drinks are always off (either too icy or too watery), the customer service is awful, there's always a big line because they work so slow. I have been going to this jamba location since it opened. I have to say, in the last year, the customer service has declined greatly. In this year, I've gotten incorrect orders, soupy smoothies, cold oatmeal, etc. I've let it slide because I know what it is to be new, and I' d hoped it was just growing pains for new staff. I went in this morning and ordered two smoothies, one with a kale boost, and one oatmeal. When I went in there was only one person in front of me, yet I waited quite a bit of time. In fact, my smoothies didn't even get started until after that customer left AND another worker came out to handle registers. When my order was finally ready, my oatmeal had turned into a pretzel ( that I had to wait for them to fix). In addition, when I got home with my kale boosted smoothie. It was as if the kale hadn't been blended in until the last moment because every sip had me crunching on chunks of the greens. I don't know what is going on over there, but I don't know that I'll be back. read more

With exception to this location in Downey Landing, the cashier whom I always see all the time displays an unwelcoming behavior and does not seem to understand what customer service is. The ONLY reason I keep coming back to this location is because it's around the corner from my house. Otherwise I wouldn't bother. The customer service isn't the best. They are so focused on having fun with each other that they forget you're a buying customer. Then there's always something wrong with the food or equipment like the oatmeal isn't ready or they ran out of it. Or the toaster needs to be cleaned so there goes all the small food items! Came in and was not greeted as usual like at other Jamba's, the person at the register looked unhappy to be at work didn't even say how can I help you or anything, we had an Issue with our order at first because the register wasn't reading our gift card, we stepped aside and fixed the issue and came back to order, again the cashier wasn't very happy to retake our order, I have trouble seeing and couldn't read their menu as I was ordering I asked the cashier which breakfast sandwiches did they have and he said "our sandwich options are on the menu you can look up, I asked him again can you tell me the sandwich options you have and again he said look at the menu, I asked again please tell me the sandwich options you have and he started to laugh at me, at this time I was upset and told him that wasn't the correct way to treat a customer, he said " I have the right to refuse service and at this time I'm going to refuse service, we stepped aside and called corporate, we filed a complaint and then we were serviced by another cashier, during this whole time WESLEY went to the back office and sat there, once we were finally serviced he had to come out again to aid the cashier with an error on the machine he wasn't happy to do so, I won't be back here again, It is because of customers that employees have jobs WESLEY doesn't seem to value that, I hope that his upper management gives him coaching so next time he treats customers correctly. read more

Im not expecting for them to be so happy when i come in, but at least not give an awkward bad attitude and "f*** you" look on their face while saying thank you. Terrible experience!! I was the only one in the store, ordered a juice, and they failed to tell me when I ordered that they were cleaning the juicer. After watching everyone just standing around, and the guy cleaning the machine going as slow as he possibly could go (even walking back & forth from the back, he would walk like a turtle-not like he needed to get done because a patron was waiting!), I finally asked if the juicer was down. They said no they were cleaning it & did I want something else because it would be a little bit. This is after ordering & waiting! If they would have shown they were trying to get it done quickly, it would have been a completely different story! And they should have told me when I ordered that it would be a wait. I love going to Jamba Juice. When Jamba Juice opened in Downey, everyone went crazy! Since then, it's been a favorite amongst all in Downey. The line is usually pretty long. It's long enough to cover the front door, but it always moves along quickly. Sometimes the music and the blaring of the blenders can hurt your ears, but it's all goooood. Getting my name spelled wrong on the receipts or cups or whatever is always a pet peeve of mine, but that's not really a big deal. The workers are usually pretty nice, but some of them get on my nerves. The drinks come out in about five to ten minutes, and there are tables and chairs for those who want to sit. The drinks are a good treat, but be warned, they are high in sugar and calories! read more

Never really had problems here before but this last time I was there was disappointing. I waited 30 min for my drink. It was a busy day but not that busy. When I came up to the counter to see what was the hold up, the worker said that they did call my name but that I did not hear it. Um well, that would of been impossible cause I was sitting in the vicinity of the pick up counter. She did make me my drink right then and there but I could tell she was not happy about it and she practically stomped away to make my drink, which in turn made me feel bad. But why in hell was I feeling bad! I'm the one that paid almost $6 and just wanted to enjoy my drink and be on with my day. It was just way to complicated when the transaction could of gone smoother. The people that work here r rude and totally incompetent ! The employees are young, they don't make the order correctly and on top of that I've order pretty much the same item ALL THE TIME. This time for some reason they gave it to me a small little shot cup for my matcha shot which has NEVER come in this form. It's always been in a small cup. When I questioned her about it she said it always comes like this, I replied with that's funny I just order this yesterday and this was in a bigger cup and filled half way.
