This sweet spot was a delightful surprise. Hidden away in a "strip mall" is this warm and inviting, classy, quiet and elegant restaurant. The service was excellent, with just enough attention to feel taken care of, and not too much so we felt rushed (I hate that). I felt like the servers were invested in us having a wonderful experience. And we did! We ordered the vegetable empanadas, which we spectacular! The crust was perfectly crispy and flaky. Some of the best empanadas I've ever tasted. For our entree, we shared the Japanese A5 Wagyu. The server seared it table-side on some crispy, buttery brioche. We had the poblano mashed potatoes on the side...wow! I was not expecting the flavor bomb that happened in my mouth! So delicious!!! We came here to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and it ended up being such a special night for us! From the moment we walked in, the ambience was just what we wanted. Classy, cozy, the lighting was just right, and the music set such a calm, chill vibe. It felt like the perfect place to finally have a real date night again after having our second baby. Our server Jose was amazing. He explained everything so clearly, gave great recommendations, and was so attentive the entire time. I was extra thirsty and he kept my water full without me even having to ask, which I really appreciated. The drinks were great, we loved the house tequila, and the happy hour appetizers were so delicious. The street corn and tuna wraps were our favorites. Everything tasted fresh and the presentation was beautiful. What really made the night unforgettable was when they surprised us with a dessert for our anniversary. I heard a lot about this place and I decided to give it a shot on a Saturday night with my mom. I heard they have a football bar. They have delicious food and blah blah blah so here we go I decided to order a whiskey sour and a Paloma. My whiskey sour was made twice because the bartender forgot to ask me if I want the egg of course I want it. It's a part of that cocktail.. He brought me the cocktail again, but it was looking really weird and the taste was not really nice and smooth. He offered me to make it again and I'll say no at that point I was really super mega disappointed we had to order food and I decided to cancel it. Imagine the drinks were like that I cannot imagine how the food was gonna be parking situation is really good. You can find parking easy. The team of the establishment seem to be also very top of the game. They're really nice but the drinks are not. They really need a beverage director especially for the bar. What a sadness for my heart that this place has a full bar but not a great cocktails and come back maybe 3 to 6 months to see how they doing again and I'll probably update my review. read more

What an absolute disaster of a Mother's Day experience. We had a reservation and still waited over an hour just to be seated, followed by another 2 hours waiting for our food. To top off the messy team ,Our server by the name of "Chava" decided to act rude,arrogant and unprofessional by cancelling our order without us telling him to cancel it.He proceeded to point his hand at one of my family members face and cut me off mid sentence to what I was trying to explain to him. I was feelin the vibe, with the candles, purple lit booths, and massive center bar. Our host, Juan, took real good care of us. He was attentive, funny, with great energy. We ordered the jumbo shrimp taquitos, lobster ceviche, shrimp enchiladas, and fajita trio. For drinks, I ordered the guava lavender margarita. It was so delicious, my husband, who doesn't really drink, drank most of it' so we ordered another one. Such a great time, we didn't want to leave They do weddings and parties. Came with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't packed but everyone was seated in the same area. We were greeted by our server and he introduced himself to us by name--I've eaten at many places where they just say "Hi, I'll be your server this evening". He explained both menus and the various options they had. My friend is vegan and she wanted to get the enchiladas. She told Christian she didn't want it with any meat, just veggies, which prompted him to ask if she had any dietary restrictions. He said he'd asked the chef if he could make substitutions and the chef did. Christian even came back to inform us that the sauce they normally use is a cream base (dairy) and brought out a vegan version for her to try. The attention to detail and care for the customer's preferences along with the taste and good portion of the food, is what made it a great experience! I'd come back at night to experience the fireplace that's at the center of the tables and to try other items on their menu. While the ambiance of the place is aesthetically pleasing, we didn't find the benches near the windows to be comfortable. This establishment seems to be going downhill. The service, food and overall stock management need serious improvement. When we arrived, there were only two other occupied tables, yet service was still painfully slow. I really don't know what our server, Emily, was doing this whole time, she seemed to be aimlessly walking around. She doesn't seem to like her job. We weren't offered chips and salsa, and they were out of micheladas, apparently for several days, which reflects poor inventory management. There was also confusion with our drinks. We requested house water but were given bottled water. After pouring the bottled water into our cups, Emily then mixed it with house water, which was a strange way to resolve the mistake. I still don't understand why she didn't just leave it the way it was. To top it off, Emily left us the check then never came back around to pick up my credit card. I had to go to the front to check out. As I'm signing the receipt, for some unknown and odd reason, she felt the need to tell me that the side of rice and beans was actually $6 but she only charged me $3.50. When in actuality the happy hour menu clearly stated $3.50 for the side. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the birria empanadas and received two medium-sized empanadas that were supposed to contain mushrooms, but mine had none. My wife ordered the chicken enchiladas. I would give these two dish a 6 out of 10. Overall, a disappointing experience made worse by our server. Wouldn't recommend or go back. read more
