After servicing him then she comes to take my order, after 5 mins , her accent was so strong I could not understand her or hear what Narmi was saying, she was down right rude girl. I usually go here and get strawberry banana.. but this time tasted nothing like it. Was a foggy peach color and was EXTREMELY watery. I almost mistaken it for a juice. It also wasn't even blended well and was starting to separate right after getting it. It seemed to have NO banana whatsoever despite the name. Tasted just like orange juice and nothing else at all. Small accents of strawberry but mainly just ate the seeds of it. All the money wasted on something that I dreaded to drink with every sip I took is horrendous. I couldn't even finish the smoothie (or juice...) because how awful it tasted!! I got a small size too!! At other locations I'd be done with whatever smoothie I had in 5 mins fast, I held off drinking this one for at least 10 minutes, took longer to drink. I didn't want all my money to be wasted. I regretted my life choices. How do you mess up a smoothie this badly.!?? :( Maybe was just the workers or location... This new location, seems clean, service is about the same as other Movita's. My favorite so far is the VERY BERRY ACAI BOWL. However, with increased pesticides on the strawberries (even DRISCOL AND DRISCOL ORGANIC) it was a concern with the taste of the strawberries. With the protein and peanut butter I add to it, I could still taste something off last visit. My guess, NOT rinsed or washed well. read more

There is nothing more asinine than a manager or lead uttering the words, "There is Nothing I can do!" I ordered 12 smoothies online but needed 12 trays of mixed nuts as well. The mixed nuts can't be ordered online so I asked to add them to my order (my company policy does not allow more than one receipt). Rather than helping me by canceling and reentering my order, I got the, "Well, it's not our fault, there is nothing we can do." Just imagine if this was your franchise, how would you, as a owner feel? 1. Turning down an extra $100 of business 2. Upsetting a regular customer- I spend typically $200 plus 15% tip. 3. I've been coming here a few times because I'm a Downey resident. Smoothie drinks are always delish and consistent. However, the employees not so much to say about them. They are not very helpful and some don't give you good customer service. I hope this will change over time. I have to drive down to their Norwalk location since it was given a good review by one of the reviewers here. Therefore, ambiance in this Downey loc is ok. It has room for improvement. read more

We recently starting coming here because my daughter was craving a drink and I'm so glad we stopped by! Our family tried different drinks and they were so good! I like that they sometimes have samples because you get to try new drinks (great idea!) I used to take my daughter to a juice place with a bigger name but she was usually disappointed with the drinks there. I know the drinks are a little pricey but you get what you pay for, the drinks are big, extremely refreshing and delicious! The customer service is great, no complaints here. read more

If you want a great refreshing snack it's a great place to go to. They have smoothie shakes and they also have like cold bowls very good. I think very healthy nutrient is quick access. I think the ingredients are clean as well. Spacious for a handicap person as well. It's all actually always clean when you stop by. read more

I'm a consistent customer I've been to the Lakewood, both Downey locations, Long Beach, and Los Angeles one. This one is by far the least quality in the smoothies. Unfortunately this is the closest one to my house but I'll have to take the drive from now on because they aren't the best at making my simple peanut butter, banana, and peanut butter smoothie. read more

I've been to a few different movitas, one of my favorite ones is in Norwalk. This one however is my least favorite. The people who work here are not welcoming or friendly. Their bowls are very liquid and texture. Even if you get one of the premium bowls where the protein powder is added in the bowl, it is practically soup. This is the only location like that. I tried it more than once just to make sure it wasn't just an odd experience and each time it was the same. I won't be back and don't recommend this location. read more

Had one spoonful of my very berry bowl with proats substituted and immediately felt my tongue tingling almost like a burning sensation??? Thought it was a fluke at first but I had my mom and dad try and they both immediately agreed something was off. Not sure what is being used to make the bowls but something is being added (maybe accidentally) or maybe cross contamination with cleaning solutions but it makes your tongue tingle almost like a burning sensation. This is also the second time I've ordered here, the first time I had a bowl substituted with proats (several months ago) it didn't cause this reaction on my tongue so I know it shouldn't taste like that. Didn't provide a picture because just by looking at it you would think nothing is wrong with it until you taste it.
