This Jamba Juice location is bigger than most Jamba Juices that I've been to. It is a typical store that's nice and bright, and it was pretty clean. One negative thing that I noticed was that when I tried to order my typical Jamba Juice drink on the app, there were only 3-4 different smoothies available. At first, I thought that they had changed the menu and had stopped selling my go-to Caribbean Passion or White Gummi (which has been off of the menu for a while). However, the menu in the store was exactly the same as it has been for the past few years - with the Caribbean Passion offered as one of their smoothies. I was able to order a White Gummi and be on my way, but it was a little inconvenient to not be able to order online. There is a banana peel wet floor caution sign right as you enter despite not having any wetness anywhere. Our guess is that they keep that sign out permanently since it rains so often and people track in water all of the time. read more

The cashier the last time I came in here was really sweet and took the time to explain to me their rewards program. $6 for a smoothie is worth it to me due to the fresh, healthy ingredients. Sign in with your phone number on the little machine at the register and points will rack up to save you on your next purchase. I have been coming to this location for many years and I have largely had a great experience with the employees here. I was especially happy that they refused to close when lord Inslee demanded small businesses that he deemed non essential to close their doors and fire their employees. (My business was deemed essential so I still was working and passing by Jamba Juice daily) In the beginning of the pandemic I wore a mask every day and was super careful with washing my hands, touching my face, touching anything really. I wore my mask even though NO ONE ELSE DID. I wore my mask even when the CDC and mr Fauci said it was NOT necessary and in fact by wearing my mask I was more likely to catch Covid-19. Mmmmkay... suuurre..... Luckily for me I was given common sense by birth and by being raised by a Combat Marine Veteran that wouldn't allow stupidity in his children. That being said, I would go in and purchase my regular smoothie even on days when I didn't really want one just so I could support this business during this difficult time. The position of the business owner then was that the governor would have to come in and personally force them to close the doors because they were going to remain open even though they were told to close "for their safety". I am a strong believer in the American citizens right to pursue life, liberty, and happiness in whatever way they choose. The federal government does not have the authority to tell law abiding American citizens when they can go to Church, where they can work, or for damn sure what clothes they choose to wear. I for one will not bow down to the mob. I for one will not wear a mask or change my way of pursuing life, liberty and happiness for any one that has arbitrarily deemed it necessary for me to deviate from my own path in life. Yesterday I stopped by like I have hundreds of times before but I was stopped and asked if I had a mask... I said yes I do, it's in my truck. (I will always choose when I will wear it and for whatever reason I choose) to my surprise I was told that I would not be allowed in without it? The store was empty mind you. I was not told that I could wait outside if I wanted and they could bring it to me. (That would have been the best case scenario for me because I always pay cash and I never need my change because I always throw it in the tip jar. I was not told of the new policy, given grace for the day and advised that next time I would be asked to leave.... nope.... None of they above were options on the table. Instead I was told by an order following sheep that I was not welcome.... what has happened to America? Why are so many of us following the advice of people who switch their positions on our safety every week? I will surely miss getting my breakfast smoothies from the lovely ladies at this Jamba juice. Used to come here all the time in the mornings before work. Had a craving today so felt like I would give them a try. The oatmeal has changed a lot since the last time I came. Before it was the same steel cut oats. You just picked what kind you wanted and it had certain items already included. Now you can only pick 2 items or you will be charged extra. Also the size seems significantly smaller than it used to be. Jamba Juice seriously has the best orange juice though. That was great as always. I was at the Federal way location and ordered my drink, the regular person I usually see was not there. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the person I was dealing with. She put my drink on the counter when she was done making it and then the straw. As she put the straw on the counter it hit the cup and pushed the drink off the counter onto ME and the FLOOR. Instead of saying omg i'm so sorry let me get you some napkins and help you (mind you I was on my way to work in my scrubs and I was covered in Mango madness) instead she just yelled out to her coworker. "can you grab a mop" Not even acknowledging me AT ALL. One worker cleaned up and the other remade my drink. She walked it out to the lobby for me and handed it to me and said "oh sorry about that." I feel that there should have been more of an apology maybe a refund, a gift card for a free drink or something of that nature. 12/30/2017 @ about 1800, my husband and I went to this location for a lovely evening healthy snack. In a wonderful mood we both walked in to this location expecting what we have always encountered in our past Jamba Juice experiences- which is well rounded and knowledgeable employees for Jamba Juice. However, we were met by jamba employees who were not the slightest bit knowledgeable or well rounded for that matter. I love going into Jamba Juice and ordering a drink in order to supplement my day with items that have good nutritional value and provide health benefits. I usually achieve this by getting boosters in my drinks. I noticed there was a new boost "collagen" .... I couldn't remember exactly what this was so I asked the male server "what is collagen again? I cant remember" ... his reply "well it's kinda like the other boosters, it just comes in a powder" I thought to myself, Is this a joke? And quickly realized this boy was serious he didn't know the nutritional value of collagen or even that it had nutritional value. I simply googled my answer in order to decide if I wanted to spend the extra $0.25 on this boost. I decided not to. So I added my rewards number and my husband proceeded to order his drink. After entering my rewards in, it said I had a reward available - however it didn't print out for the employees to give my reward to me. I told him I'd like to use it- so he asked his manager why his computer was not printing out the reward and she scowled at the computer and didn't even look at me in effort to answer why their system was malfunctioning... she just turned around and walked away.... it baffles me how terrible their customer service was and how terrible the knowledge of what they were selling was I will NEVER go back to this location... from the looks of the other reviews on yelp, this is a chronic problem. it's obvious that these kids running this location are only going to loose Jamba Juice profit ... I wish i was able to get my reward and if this place was ran by competent employees I would have went home happy. Thanks jamba for ruining my night- once again I've been let down by society's intelligence. My recommendation: teach your employees what they are selling ... Decided to visit Jamba Juice here for the first time. Staff are friendly, place is clean and the juices are good. Hubby got the mango a gogo which is his norm and it was good. I decided to try something different, it was called "apples n greens" I find it lack a bit of flavor. It didn't really taste much of anything. Couldn't taste the apples, the "greens" and it was definitely not as sweet as I'd hope for it to be. We used a "coupon" like ordeal at this place and there were no hassle to it. It's too bad it doesn't apply to the "juicing" technique of their drinks. It only applies to those that are blended? Nonetheless, well be back if were around the neighborhood. Stopped in after going on a super long walk with a friend nearby. It was late afternoon 3-4ish and around the holidays. I was the only person in there for awhile. Person who helped me was patient while I made up my mind, and answered my question. Smoothie (Strawberry Surfrider) was well made and delicious. What I found a little strange were the other employees. While I was waiting for my smoothie, two more customers came in. The two other employees just stood and watched the one girl try to help us all. Then they were talking loudly and ventured to the back room, leaving the poor one employee trying to do three things at once. They clearly didn't have her back, and weren't about being sure customers were more important than their conversation. I will be back (delicious smoothies and all), but hope to see more team spirit when it comes to helping customers. read more

There are a few other smoothie places in Federal Way, but this is my favorite joint for a yummy blended fruit drink. The oatmeal and asian chicken sandwiches are also my favorite! While any fruit is good fruit, keep in mind that a lot of items on the menu do have quite a bit of sugar in them, and you might as well crack open a soda. If you are truly looking for something healthy, take a peak at the very small, yet flavorful "all fruit" menu: Strawberry Whirl, Pomegranate Paradise, Mega Mango, Peach Perfection, etc. You won't regret it! read more

Well watching her make it I noticed her put some juice in It that I've never had before and as well 2 scoops of peanut butter which normally on a standard order comes with 3 but as well I paid for extra and didn't get it When I asked her about it she goes oh no I put lots of peanut butter in their 4 scoops that was incorrect I watched. The smoithie tasted like straight berry juice, it was so runny like it had no frozen yogurt.... oh that's it didn't as remember I watched, only ice was added. I ended up throwing it away. My Jamba barista, "M" was fairly aloof when I walked in, I asked if the juice can be made vegan and she says "I don't know what that means"... taken back a little, I explained "no milk", asked about one of the drinks in the middle of the menu and she says it doesn't have milk. I can understand if I asked "can my drink be made umami" she may have been a little more inquisitive. This location is right next to my bank (becu) so it makes it convenient to stop in after banking. I enjoy Jamba Juice and this is my closest location, but over the last few months I avoid this location. They are crowded and rarely have the staff to handle the customer load. I am also not impressed with their food handling, when they get busy I see a lot of cross contamination. Even things like using the same blender lid for 10 orders in a row, using a cutting board and knife for multiple orders without even rinsing, boost powders that are spilled into each other, I waited almost 30 minutes for an order one day and watched in amazement at multiple food handling violations. read more

It is 7:27 on November 10, 2017. I just had the rudest service by the two employees working. They were not friendly or welcoming. I walk in two hours before close and all of the juice machines are being cleaned already. The chairs are already up as if they were about to close. And when the girl made the drinks she didn't even call our name, she just sat them down and went back to cleaning. I happened to look up and notice them sitting there. I used to work at Jamba Juice, and even had to do manager duties while we didn't have one. I know this is not acceptable, and not how they were trained. Cleaning the machines early looses production as the freshly squeezed drinks cost more. My experience tonight totally turned me off, and makes me not want to come back to this location.
