There's more spot in the back area and there's street parking right out front if needed. It's a little corner spot that's next to Bank of America, Panda Express and a sandwich shop. Storefront itself is pretty small. There's no seating inside which is a bummer. Seating is outside on the patio right when you walk in. It's limited but I alway find a table whenever I'm here. There's a counter top inside which does have a few seating but it's awkward as it looks straight to the cashier and food counter. Plus it's where people line up to order so you'll have people literally looking over your shoulder. I haven't seen anyone utilize it except for when waiting for their orders. Not the smartest of design. But everything is the same as all the Starbucks. Normally when I come it's alway been pretty quiet hence the service is alway good. This morning, it was still early and the mad rush was coming in. Got the order in and it's don't take long till the drinks were ready. Also it's the first time that I've seen so many staff on deck. Normally it's two maybe three the most at a time. But morning so it's their rush hour, everyone was on full force. It's not my usual location but it does come in handy when I need it.

I got the Venti Mango Dragonfruit, we got my mom a grande Mango Dragonfruit and asked for light ice on both. My wife got her green tea and asked for light ice as well. The barista did not put light ice like we asked. My venti drink had almost half the cup of ice in it and the label on the cup even said light ice. It was the same on my mom drink and wife drink as well.

As A Vendor: Alex, the owner of Friendly Fruits Inc. is one of the kindest, most patient people I have ever met and gotten the chance to work alongside. When we expressed interest in hiring this company for catering, they got back to us right away with quotes, information on services, and availability. When we discovered that there was a lot of paperwork to get this food truck onto our work grounds, Alex was more than willing to step up to the plate and help get it all in with our management! From fire extinguisher inspections to COI proof, he was prepared for every signature. For his determination in getting all of the paperwork finished, I am forever grateful. As A Food Truck: Friendly Fruits had a wide variety of flavors and drink types to choose from, with many even having mixed flavor options and dairy-free choices! He even made it simple for our clients by printing out mini-menus, having them circle the options they want, and writing their names + any dietary restrictions. This truck had a wide range of healthy and sweet drinks! He also took precautions seriously and ensured that items which may invoke allergies did not cross-contaminate with one another. Everybody that got something raved about it! We received nothing but positive feedback from staff, with some being grateful that we went with the Friendly Fruits smoothie truck instead of with something else like ice cream! Everything was amazing: from the smoothies to the jugo verde to lemonades to the chamoyadas- it was all FANTASTIC and brought many smiles to many faces. I asked if the strawberries could be replaced. One serving was replaced with mango. When I asked if the second strawberry portion could be replaced with another standard topping (mochi, which costs the same at this location), the employee told me, "I already helped you." She later explained that she was new and said that if I wanted the second substitution, I would need to go outside and ask the manager, who was standing outside the store. My disappointment isn't about mochi. It's that the original issue was spoiled fruit. By that point, I had already dug through my frozen yogurt trying to remove rotten strawberries and had thrown away part of the yogurt and other toppings. I didn't want to keep eating something that had been sitting in rotten strawberry juice. I would have preferred the frozen yogurt simply be remade from the beginning. I understand the employee was new, and I don't fault her for that. I do hope management checks the freshness of the fruit and gives employees clear guidance on how to handle situations like this so customers aren't left trying to salvage an order made with spoiled ingredients. It tastes like it's made with jasmine tea and is it extremely bitter. I guess I needed to ask them to sweeten it? But that has never been the case at any other boba shop I've been to and there was no indication on the menu to request any sort of sweetness level. When I got home, I put 5 spoonfuls of brown sugar into it in hopes that it would help. It's a little better, but still has that intense bitterness that lingers in the back of your mouth. Could be a mistake and they forgot to sweeten it? Could be they forgot to mention drinks come unsweetened? Not sure. The shop is conveniently located in a shopping center between Ventura and Van Nuys and depending on what time of day you come, it can be easy or difficult to find parking here! Thankfully, on a weekday, it was pretty easy! When I arrived, it was pretty busy with other customers also having the same idea as me, trying to get an acai bowl or smoothie to cool down from the heat. Despite how busy they were, my smoothie was made promptly. The service was also very friendly. I got the Ubatuba Smoothie with almond butter added in. It was very fruity and tasted tropical with the nuttiness of the almond butter coming through. It also added a nice richness and denseness to the drink and filled me up so I didn't have a need for dinner! The drink was very smooth and well blended. It was refreshing and cooling and gave me the energy I needed to get me through the rest of the day! The ambiance was nice and there were tables available inside and outside.
