Honestly, was so shocked with the size of my drink, since they are doing a promo with a free size upgrade. It's supper affordable less than $7. I got the Earl Grey milk tea with boba and the flavor was so delicious. As for the snack, I got the popcorn chicken, this is a must when getting boba. The chicken was crispy and flavorful pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the milk tea. A great balance of flavor. They have a pretty big menu with plenty of options! There were only a couple people inside but it was pretty quiet. I ordered the pot plant milk tea with boba. They have 2 different sizes for drinks and many options for toppings to go in your drink. Honestly really liked Boba Snow House. If you want a solid boba place, this is it. I found great value in my drink that just really hit the right spot in terms of taste. Got the fresh taro paste with the house milk tea which was a winning combination. Also got the popcorn chicken with medium spice and was really happy with the flavor and portion size. DO NOT GO HERE! How this place gets above one star is beyond my comprehension. The staff when we were there more than once was horribly rude, like we bothered having to actually do something, the smoothies are flavored ice, the boba is terrible, the drinks are watery and flavorless, and how this place stays in business is far beyond me, probably because it's the only thing like this in a 10 mile radius, even if generic Boba Time opened up, would put this place out of business. read more

I stopped by this Boba Snow House today with my wife to get a drink. I been to the Granada Hills location before so I wanted to try this location. I was planning on getting a green apple slush here. We found parking easily in the big plaza this place is in. When we walked inside, they only had 1 other guest dining inside. I looked at their menu and did not see Green Apple under the slush menu. So I had to go with the Strawberry Slush and upgrade it to the large size. My wife got the Guava green tea and asked for light ice. It didn't take long for our drinks to be ready. I thought the strawberry slush was alright but I would've prefer my green apple. My wife like her Guava green tea drink from here and they give her light ice like she requested. I got the chocolate horchata, Thai tea, and a slush for the kids; it was really good. I have been here twice now. It's pretty good boba. So far I have tried the coffee smoothie and matcha smoothie. They were both really good. The coffee smoothie had a very coffee forward flavor which I appreciated. A lot of time you just get coffee creamer flavor which is gross. This was coffee and real cream flavored. Today I tried the matcha smoothie. This is decent matcha flavored! Starbucks matcha is mega gross now. It's just sweet. No earthiness. This actually has matcha flavor. Not overly sweet. Perfectly balanced. I really like their boba. The boba is extremely soft and bouncy. Maybe for some a little over done, but I really love this texture and chew. The flavor is nice. Not overly brown sugar/syrup flavored. Just slightly sweet, very chewy, bouncy. I'll try more. I've been on a milk tea run lately. (w boba) Not a person that enjoys their sweets but something has taken over me for now. In the area I live there is not many boba milk tea shops around. My ideal trip would be a 15min round trip to be close and convenient. Some are close enough but pushes into 25-30min mark and most of those times I'd rather not go. Anyways, Boba Snow House opened up really close by. Conveniently I hung out with my nieces and they love milk tea so we decided to visit and check out the place. To me the selection seemed to be standard and wondered if there were any specialty drinks this place had to offer. If so, please let me know and I would suggest to have them better advertised or brought up by the cashier. One thing about Boba Snow House that I like is their small appetizer menu. Milk tea shops should be a place to hang out in. An alternative to a coffee house. I ordered the popcorn chicken and they were great! The interior, I feel needs some work. It may have been because it was night time but the inside was super bright. Some of the walls could be covered up more with art work and the small wall facing the register could use a mirror to give the illusion to extend the place. Best boba spot I've been to in the valley. If there is one thing boba needs to be consistently to be considered great, is its warm and soft, rather than cold and hard. Now it becoming cold and hard will happen regardless of time with the ice, but when added and made fresh which it should be, then this issue is over time and not as you begin drinking right when grabbed. For that reason, it's great every single time. I love the option to decrease sugar levels, and add other options too. It's also not just this location, I've been to others around the valley and La, and they have all been great. To be better than Bon Bon boba and boba time which I would say are the main ones thought of. Service is always fast and near immediate without compromise in any area. They have games to rent out and free WiFi for group or study sessions which as a college student is great. They also have self-checkout which is great. So buyer beware. The kind cashier was also trying to figure out why. A regular milk tea rang up at $5, we were guessing the Ube addition was the difference. But still, just update the menu and all should be well. A $1 difference may be a lot for some for a drink. Look, this place has good drinks, huge selection, cool vibe, and nice staff. Great to see a new tea place fulfill a "boba desert"! I saw this place have a grand opening sign while going to the pharmacy. It is located in the Laurel Canyon shopping center anchored by a Ralphs, Kohls and CVS. Ample parking, and lots of kid friendly stores nearby like Chucky Cheese, kids dentistry, and children clothes shops. Maybe because I came in right after school hours I saw a steady stream of middle and high school age kids come in to get their boba and snack food fix, like the Taiwanese snack places in the SGV. They have a selection of milk tea, coffee, fruit tea, and slushes, as well as hot appetizers like fries, chicken and wontons. The drinks are large for the price point but the plastic top is a little flimsy, as evident by some spilt boba in the parking lot right outside the entrance. Great selection of toppings. You can pick the tea, substitute milk, and select ice and sweetness levels, like other boba places. I ordered a coffee milk tea. It's not on the menu right now but I overheard the guest ahead of me order. I also got a ube milk tea. It's a little more but has a nice purée. If you're an employee of the shopping center let them know for a courtesy discount. Pleasantly surprised with my experience. I didn't expect the tea to shine so well in the drinks, but i'm glad I listened to reviews. Earl grey milk tea - Can really taste the bergamot - earl grey is my favorite tea so I am definitely coming back for more of this. Regular sweetness is not too sweet either which I can appreciate. Strawberry green tea - We got 25% sugar, so green tea flavor was quite prominent. Sometimes when you go down on the sweetness the flavor also goes away, but not in this case Jasmine green milk tea - not too sweet and subtle jasmine flavor. This had a lighter tea flavor than the others but still a good staple Inside has many seating options and free cold water. You can choose to order with the screen or at the cashier - either way, the order comes out of a small opening in the wall covered by a small curtain. I've been on the hunt for a decent Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken place in SFV. Growing up in a predominantly asian community, I miss being just a stones throw away from any type of boba shop or asian restaurant. While there are many boba shops in the valley, only a few have snacks, let alone popcorn chicken. I had called ahead and ordered the popcorn chicken and a brown sugar milk tea to-go. The person who answered the phone was very kind and answered all of my questions regarding boba preference (non-dairy milk, half sweet, etc). They asked how long it would take me to arrive, and I told them 10 mins. Upon arrival, the popcorn chicken was ready to go and they were just sealing the top of my drink. I THINK I JUST FOUND MY NEW POPCORN CHICKEN PLACE! The chicken cooked to perfection, crisp and crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful inside. They even had it garnished with fried Thai basil leaves, just like how I remember having it growing up! The boba was also very good! It was a little on the sweet side, but I could always ask for it less sweet next time. It's always nice to have the option to adjust sweetness, and that's how you know they are making it fresh!
