    Boba and drinks size

I stopped by this Boba Snow House today with my wife to get a drink. I been to the Granada Hills location before so I wanted to try this location. I was planning on getting a green apple slush here. We found parking easily in the big plaza this place is in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we walked inside, they only had 1 other guest dining inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I looked at their menu and did not see Green Apple under the slush menu. So I had to go with the Strawberry Slush and upgrade it to the large size. My wife got the Guava green tea and asked for light ice. It didn't take long for our drinks to be ready. I thought the strawberry slush was alright but I would've prefer my green apple. My wife like her Guava green tea drink from here and they give her light ice like she requested. The 2 ladies working tonight were nice and friendly with us.

This establishment is ripping people off! Cold beverages shouldnt be taxed if they are to go! Came here and noticed my item was taxed i asked the cashier why, she wasnt sure why... her co worker came over and tried to explain its because their system is set up that way... okay i get that its not their fault... she said she would mentioned it to the owner... but because i had promised my daughter boba... i still paid... and im pretty sure i pressed the no tip option... so the cashier quickly cleared the screen then i asked for a receipt... as im writing this review im now noticing they tipped themselves too smh... its not about the $1 its about doing the right ti hope the owner looks into this asap!

I've been on a milk tea run lately. (w boba) Not a person that enjoys their sweets but something has taken over me for now. In the area I live there is not many boba milk tea shops around. My ideal trip would be a 15min round trip to be close and convenient. Some are close enough but pushes into 25-30min mark and most of those times I'd rather not go. Anyways, Boba Snow House opened up really close by. Conveniently I hung out with my nieces and they love milk tea so we decided to visit and check out the place. To me the selection seemed to be standard and wondered if there were any specialty drinks this place had to offer. If so, please let me know and I would suggest to have them better advertised or brought up by the cashier. One thing about Boba Snow House that I like is their small appetizer menu. Milk tea shops should be a place to hang out in. An alternative to a coffee house. I ordered the popcorn chicken and they were great! The interior, I feel needs some work. It may have been because it was night time but the inside was super bright. Some of the walls could be covered up more with art work and the small wall facing the register could use a mirror to give the illusion to extend the place. Overall I enojyed my first visit and so did my nieces. Parking: large private lot VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

What is this ??? !! GROSS!!

BRING BACK THE DIPPING SAUCE FOR THE POPCORN CHICKEN!! The sauce packet SUCKS !! I only came here for the delicious sauce they USED TO HAVE !! Now the sauce is this cheap packet that they give you and the chicken is terrible without it !

    Milk Tea $5......but not all.

Alas, a not so good review. Which I don't like doing. The price on the menu did not reflect the price I paid. I ordered a Ube Milk Tea. Menu said $5. Cashier rang up $5.95 (before adding boba). So buyer beware. The kind cashier was also trying to figure out why. A regular milk tea rang up at $5, we were guessing the Ube addition was the difference. But still, just update the menu and all should be well. A $1 difference may be a lot for some for a drink. Look, this place has good drinks, huge selection, cool vibe, and nice staff. If and whenever I return, I hope to upgrade my review. In the meantime, now you know.

I've been working on trying all the boba spot in the valley and stumbled upon Boba snow house. Big space with ample seating. Good sized menu with food options too! I missed the food but will have to come again to try the gyoza. Staff didn't interact much but my boba was great. I tried the passion fruit green tea with passion fruit jelly and the earl grey milk tea with boba. Both delicious and fresh and can't wait to come back again!

I'd give this a 3.5. The ube itself was delish. Like if they could make that into snack on the menu. Solid decision. Boba was okay. The cup threw me off since it was so big which required more ice and watered down my drink a bit by the end. Ample parking since it's in a big shopping complex

Great to see a new tea place fulfill a "boba desert"! I saw this place have a grand opening sign while going to the pharmacy. It is located in the Laurel Canyon shopping center anchored by a Ralphs, Kohls and CVS. Ample parking, and lots of kid friendly stores nearby like Chucky Cheese, kids dentistry, and children clothes shops. Maybe because I came in right after school hours I saw a steady stream of middle and high school age kids come in to get their boba and snack food fix, like the Taiwanese snack places in the SGV. They have a selection of milk tea, coffee, fruit tea, and slushes, as well as hot appetizers like fries, chicken and wontons. The drinks are large for the price point but the plastic top is a little flimsy, as evident by some spilt boba in the parking lot right outside the entrance. Great selection of toppings. You can pick the tea, substitute milk, and select ice and sweetness levels, like other boba places. I ordered a coffee milk tea. It's not on the menu right now but I overheard the guest ahead of me order. I also got a ube milk tea. It's a little more but has a nice purée. If you're an employee of the shopping center let them know for a courtesy discount. I think they should really lean into the "snow" part of their name and offer some shaved ice type desserts as well.

Hopped on Yelp to find a coffee spot and Steeple House came up. Interestingly enough, the coffee shop is located within a church campus so it's a bit harder to find. We did get to find it thanks to a kind young man who directed us. Now, don't be afraid to stop in because it's located within a church campus. The coffee they serve are great. From Onyx to Black and White Coffee Roasters. The litmus test for how well a barista can do is ordering an espresso straight. My brother's shot was under extracted and he gave it a 2.5, mine was better and was a 3.5/4 Majority of shops will definitely pull shots and use roasts that are more in the classic profile which we don't really like, but it hits with 95 percent of "coffee snobs" we however, prefer true medium roasts that aren't "burnt" or "strong", but when most people are ordering iced lattes, we understand that you need that burnt taste in order to cut through all that milk. Service was great and the vibe is super chill. It's a relatively small shop but it's a nice place to study and to chill.

Like it's fully in a church village kind of thing. While drinking my coffee, little kids were brought out on their recess to play. I came when it was not busy and got my drink in under two minutes. However, the person sitting next to me (with the cutest doggie! They're dog friendly, I think ) waited longer than 10 minutes for her drink. However, this was during a rush and when it was probably the busiest in the morning (?) AMBIANCE AND ENVIRONMENT: The music volume was pretty good. It was low level when the place got busy due to people chatting, machines, ice scooping etc., but when it wasn't so busy, the level was about medium due to the atmosphere being more quiet. The vibes were Mumford and sons, Oasis, Of Monsters and Men, the Head and the Heart, and some classical sprinkled here and there. It is smaller than a chain, but cozy with quite a few seats and table options. I think they did a great job at making the best of the space. The space also encourages community as half of the seating options are shared/shareable. All within an arms reach, which in my personal opinion, is plenty of space. Because of this, it encourages you to acknowledge your fellow human being sitting across, or beside you. The environment was clean, bright, and comfortable. The environment feedback I woukd give is perhaps a stronger sun shade in the windows that the bar and stools face. I first sat here but within minutes decide to move because the heat was a bit too much for me. Again! A personal preference. Coffee shops can also naturally get warm due to the energy being used for the machines and refrigerators, so something to consider. The air-conditioning kicked in a little later which helped make it more comfortable. Another thing I noticed is the outlet near the corner table and lounge chairs has a an outlet extender plugged into the wall outlet, but the wall outlet is extremely loose with no faceplate. This can cause electric shock, wiring damage and possible fires. I know from personal experience. It's a real easy and cheap fix that I highlyyy recommend they do ASAP. Just trying to be helpful because I really, really like this spot. FOOD AND DRINKS: I ordered a Hibiscus Berry Blend, as is, iced. It was $5.00 even. It is served in a14 Oz. cup. With ice, it's probably about 12-13 Oz. of drink you're getting. I think it was worth it. The flavor was equal and very nice. Not too fruity, not too watery. It wasn't sweet, due to me not asking for any additional sweetener. As I sat and worked, I heard a lot of other orders and some were very creative. So they do have all those fun drinks people love to indulge in occasionally. They also have classic drip coffee and loose leaf tea. THE REASON WHY I TRIED INICIO: The biggest thing I noticed, being an activist myself involved in many efforts for social justice through my work and personal life, was their mission to erase modern day slavery. Human trafficking is a horrible thing that unfortunately is haooening right before out very eyes. They donate a portion of all food, drink, and catering sales to Justice 180. That is honestly, the reason why I came. I would love to partner with them and invite them to come cater at my center. I plan to spread the word about this place and continue to support them.
