This place is a friggin' shit show. I don't know how better to state it but I'll recap my experience here. It was so early that a lot of places hadn't opened yet/yet to reopen because of COVID. There were two people working behind the counter and things were slow, no rush of people two people ahead of me in line. I just assumed they just didn't care, something that was confirmed because neither of them acknowledged the two people ahead of me. Despite Yelp showing they had been open for about 30 minutes they were still setting up. Finally, one of them started taking orders and then both of them went to make smoothies, while people were still waiting to order. What's worse, someone from the Dunkin Donuts came over and just started chopping it up, like there weren't people waiting to order/for their drinks. They were just joking around and then the DD guy got to put in a drink order before any customers! I was about to just say screw this and turn around, but DD guy then swiped his card and took the next two orders, including mine. I guess that's something? I dunno. Each time I visited (I was in and out of the airport over the course of two days after constantly canceled and delayed flights), the line was incredibly long. Who was waiting for their drink? Who was ordering at the register? Who was ordering on the DIY touchscreens? Your guess is (still) as good as mine. When I tried using the touch screens, everything I ordered was unavailable. When I tried to order at the register (there was no one there for the longest time) I was (dismissively) told that everything I wanted was unavailable. Maybe every single plant-based thing really was out? Like many others, I ended up walking away without ordering anything because, well, there was apparently nothing to order. I probably waited a good 10 min or a little more. So don't be in a rush. They should also have a system where it displays your number on a screen. I come here fairly often and I feel like the service is getting worse each time. I normally order the smoothie bowls. Sometimes they are made great sometimes not so much. The last 2 times I have been here they were not the best. So speaking about today, there was only 1 person working, so she had to take orders and make them. She wasn't the friendliest either, but I get it she was alone and had to do everything. I wanted a peachy green bowl but I was told they only had açai and the papita Bowl, so I got the açai one. First off didn't seem like she put enough smoothie base, second none of the ingredients were prepared properly, for instance the strawberries and bananas were cut into big chunks. And she just piled everything right on. Now you might say this is minor things; however if the bowls are suppose to have slices neatly packed on that is what I want to be able to enjoy it better. Now I have to cut up the strawberries myself which will be messy b/c of all the stuff on them. And now that I have started eating it the base is really watery, not thick like usual. And to top it all off she put so much honey on top I didn't get a chance to tell her to stop. It is only suppose to be a drizzle not a down pour..lol Anyway I digress, they need to have more ppl working in the morning and have things prepared properly for an effective process. I am a huge fan of Jamba Juice, so I always give a little 'yelp' and have to stop by when I see one. This JJ location is conveniently located in Terminal 4 after going through security. However, that excitement quickly wore off as this is probably the worst JJs I've ever been to! There were 3 staff members on-site: two were taking their time and counting money from the register, while there was a line of customers waiting. There was no apology nor any notification that it would be another 10-minute wait. After an order was put-in, I waited for a good 15 minutes or more for my beverage, as the order seemed to have been 'lost' and not one of the 3 members stepped up to create the drink. I ordered a Razmatazz, which one of the ingredients are bananas; the bananas that were in the container were completely frozen and freezer-burned. Since the chipping away of the freezer-burned bananas was a lost cause, after a few more attempts to get about a quarter size of bananas into the cup seemed to have been sufficient for the employee. He proceeded to pour in mostly juice and forgot the rest of the ingredients (!!!). All this while he was yakking away -with my crazy OCD, I imagined his spit droplets going into the blender. In addition, another male employee, who happen to make another patron's drink, had food in his mouth, in which noticeable crumbs were all over the place; he also proceeded to lick his fingers, while making the drinks and handling the payments. I lost my appetite and just had to walk away from the situation. The overall experience was extremely bizarre and completely out of character of any JJs I've visited. The combination of the employees being incredibly unhygienic, having no regard for their customers nor their customers' times, and, in addition, the drinks missing ingredients and being more juice-based was all super disappointing! I just visited this location and was refused service because of my drink order. I asked for a "Red Gummy" ; which I always order in the airport and outside and is never an issue. The cashier asked the young lady making drinks and she said no because they were new employees. I offered to give her the ingredients and she still refused. And started yelling and clapping her hands about another employee whom I don't know could have made the drink but was gone already. This is very unacceptable behavior and customer service to a loyal customer. I pass up serval smoothie shops all day to come to Jamba Juice. I understand it's not on the menu but secret/old menu items should be explained to new employees. If i walk into Starbucks and ask for a particular item that is not listed guarantee it will be made, and if they didn't know the ingredients they would allow me to tell them. This has to be the WORST experience I've had at any Jamba Juice. The cashier (Latifiah) was just awful. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. My friend and I ordered a Surfrider and Greens and Ginger. It took a bit of time to make and then there were 2 drinks just sitting on the counter. She calls us over and says here's your Razzamataz and Apple and Greens. We told her that's not what we order and she responded with, "well that's what we made. Those are your drinks." We tried to drink the ones they made but it really wasn't what we ordered and didn't want to drink something we didn't pay for.
