Living close to Roebecks, I rarely had the opportunity to partake in some JJ unless I went out of my way to get it. Trips down to pops place would occassionally net the experience of items of the "secret menu." It's something I'd missed a bit. So between the option of yet another Coffee Bean or this on such a hot day... I went for the Berry Lime Sublime. You can mooch the wifi off the nearby bakery if absolutely need be, but there's not wifi at the store itself. It's a cash and carry establishment. The lot is small but free and with limited parking. It's convenient for a quick stop and go but it will never be your office. So if you're looking for an oasis for longer than 45 mins, just go down the street to either the Starbucks or the Coffee Bean on La Cienega. read more

I used to be a Robek's kind of girl, but now the Robek's on Sunset changed into something weird and unfamiliar, and my doctor is at Cedar's so I find myself here often. I usually get the Razzmatazz smoothie, which I feel like a complete idiot saying. I'm pregnant now so I was hoping that these type of smoothies would count as my fruits consumption for the day since all food is grossing me out right now, but until my last trip, I never realized that there is actually slim amounts of fruit in these smoothies. While ordering my regular Razzmatazz, the lady was like "hope you enjoy it, I actually put in real raspberries for you this time." I was too perplexed to ask her "well, WTF was in it before?" So I did what most socially awkward people do and that's taking to my phone. While looking closer at the menu I realized its sherbet, so basically I feel like I've been indulging in fruit flavored milkshakes, no wonder I feel like a fat ass. Basically, I cannot fool myself into thinking that these are going to substitute for healthy eating, but they are still damn good. They do have juice options and vegetable shakes but who the hell wants that when you can have a fruit milkshake? Overall, I will still be a regular, maybe a little less often, but I now know I cannot kid myself into believing this is a substitute for eating real live fruit...darnit! P.S. They always have new guys there who are learning to make jamba juice, and I have had bad experiences there with inconsistent juices. but jamba juice is just that good. my favorite meal is a power acai supercharger with vita and performance boost. if you are an athlete this place better be your second home. f*ck pinkberry's. Parking here is a hassle. Once you honk your horn several times, or are honked at, and you get your car into one of the very few spots available, find your way to Jamba Juice, which is facing La Cienega next to Baja Fresh. I like to order customized smoothies and for some reason Jamba hasn't made this option easy to ring up on the register. Every time I order the same custom smoothie, but end up paying a different price because they charge me for another drink and make a bunch of substitutions to it. Why not just make a custom smoothie option?? Jamba is okay, but I prefer Robeks. Wish there were more Robeks around. read more

The Jamba Juice folks at this location are really nice! I dropped by a couple of times when I was shopping in the area. Jamba Juice tastes the same across the board for the most part at least in all the ones I've been to. So it's really the service that I rate here, which was great. I was craving a Jamba Juice but I got here at 7:30 (since they normally open at 7) and actually waited outside until they opened at 8. At 8:02 someone came to unlock the front door with me standing right outside it. She unlocked it and walked away instead of opening the door for me, and welcoming me in. I brushed it off. I then asked about their new PB N Jealous Super Blend smoothie that they are promoting, and she said she'd never tried it and just gave me a blank stare. I gave up at this point. I come here pretty frequently and there are certain team members that I adore but this new team member looked like she was tired and didn't want to be there. I used to love Jamba back in the days, when I was a child and like to hang out at the mall...then I abandoned them for a bit. But recently I stopped by one morning as I wanted something light for breakfast that would help me kick the potential cold building up and to my surprised they have expanded their menu with so many more smoothie choices and FOOD choices! Ultimately, I found myself there twice last week and again this week. This particular location employees are not the typical JJ super peppy people, but I give them an A plus for their readyness to answer ALL my questions (I am not fussy, but I am selective and I like to know what I am consuming). Out of all the places walking distance to my work, is the best option for the price. I could go somewhere "nicer" but I cannot affort $6-8 smoothies more than occasionally. I will never be returning to this location. The staff here is nice, but the "General Manager" ALEX is rude, unprofessional, and has some weird personal vendetta against customers who just want to come in and get something to drink/eat before work. Incident 1: Went in and ordered with the employee Eric. Ordered two smoothies and an acai bowl. The manager Alex was standing right there when I ordered, and there was one employee making a smoothie for another patron. There were only three people ordering, and three employees. It took them over 15 minutes to make my two smoothies, and they forgot my bowl. The manager instead, thought it was more important to organize the chips in the front of the register. I let her know that I was going to be late for work and asked if I could come by later, and she rudely asked, "WELL WHAT TIME?!".. umm OK RUDE. I work up the street, but I don't know exactly what time I'll be there. I asked my boyfriend if he could pick up the bowl and bring it to me at work and he did and I felt like she did something to it too, so I couldn't even enjoy it it was super gross and bitter. Incident 2: I went to Jamba Juice again, and from a previous visit I had a coupon for a buy one get one free survey. I took the survey on my way there and my boyfriend and I were going to go get a drink. I literally got the emailed coupon at 9:20AM and went in to redeem it at 9:22AM. The employee Eric takes our orders, I show him my phone to scan the coupon and he says its not working and calls over to the "General Manager" Alex and she takes my phone and scans it again. Then she proceeds to tell me, with a horrible attitude, that she can't apply the coupon because it's already been used. I politely explained to her that I literally just got the email coupon 2 minutes prior, and there is NO WAY that I could have used the coupon before. She proceeded to tell me that I could take it up with the customer service department, but it was out of her hands. I have never experience such horrible service at a Jamba Juice. I'm not asking for all my drinks for free or anything, I just expect that if someone comes in with a coupon that should obviously still be valid, that the employees would be nicer about it, even if they are saying that they can't honor it. I will definitely be calling the customer service and corporate offices to speak with someone and I'm hoping that next time I go to this location, Alex has a better attitude. I am a stickler for customer service. I think the customer should come first, before employees, before merchants and that's what happened here. I always get apples & greens because I feel like drinking green juice will revitalize my health in the best way. It was breakfast made easy and since TJ's no longer carries Pirates Booty, it was a relief to know where I can satisfy my white cheddar puff cravings. I got an immune boost because I felt the sniffles coming on earlier in the week but that's before I saw that they had new chia seeds on the menu. This acai bowl I ordered from Postmates was terrible. Postmates had that acai bowl on demand deal with an address but had I known it was coming from Jamba Juice I would've never ordered. This place sucks. Jamba is my go-to when I need a break from the outside world, when I need to feel like all is popsicles and magic and I am eating well and taking care of myself. So how could a franchise, tried-and-true establishment make me feel so betrayed? The other day I got there at 6:55 am. Guess what - they open at 7am. Um, the girl totally unlocked the door and told me they opened in five min, went in and shut the door. I called my mom in a fit of anxiety and embarrassment and shivered in my green American Apparel tee. I mean, at least be nice if I can't come in and sit on one of your bar stools for five min. Then, at 7, she just opens the doors, doesn't wait to hold one open for me. Classy. Overall, they are just pretty slow here and rude. The parking is absolutely awful (if you park in the garage, you have to take a parking ticket? for Jamba?) and the location makes me want to hurl. Please future Jamba franchise owner, or Jamba corporate parent if you don't have franchises, open a location nearby that exudes the wonderment that is the lifeblood of your Larchmont location. I usually don't give out reviews at all, but if I'm feeling unsatisfied about something ill put it out there. I ordered an Acai Bowl & 100% it was very good! But the customer service was horrible. I think the manager was training someone & im guessing she was getting annoyed or her hands were just too full... BUT one of the managers had attitude. No smile, the vibe just wasn't there. She was no help at all. I was going to pay for my own until my sister gave them a 50, she said we only accept 20. The fact that my sister isn't all that good when it comes to English, & she hardly understands. So I just came in, gave the manager my card. From there she just turned her back & usually, you're suppose to ask if we would like the receipt, well she didn't. I LOVE JAMBA JUICE. This one was decent, and the service was super super friendly. However, the parking situation kind of sucks. There is a small shared lot off of La Cienega that's usually full, so you have to pull around to the back, where there is PAID parking. That being said, they have a large smoothie selection, including light and protein options. Looks like they're rolling out veggie smoothies too, which I guess is a thing now. This location has at least 3 better employees than the one on Santa Monica Blvd. in that Target/Best Buy Shopping area. I love it when they have specials & happy hour on juices. The special recently was the $1 for any baked goods you'd like with the purchase of a drink. I usually order from the ALL FRUIT juice menu, and add an immunity boost (depending on how I'm feeling.) If you do order a baked good, the pretzels warmed up are nice. They have that happy hour on juices starting at 5pm I believe..think til 7pm, not sure. But during this "special" they upgrade your drink. Its not necessarily the best deal, because maybe you don't want that much juice, right? Anyway, the other specials are more appealing to me. The girl behind the counter was very nice, polite, and gave great recommendations, without me even asking. The 2 guys behind the juicers were also very nice, had great attitudes, and were quite welcoming. This is an especially good Jamba Juice because it has easily accessible parking and is located right across the street from Beverly center, so if you have extra time you can always go for a walk inside the mall across the street or do some shopping. read more
