I had a recent desire for an old school, nostalgic Jamba Juice smoothie, the "Orange Dream Machine", so I dropped in here. I like that this store has a bright, upbeat vibe, cool music. The Orange Dream was only mediocre, not like I'm used to having it made. It was watered down for some reason...not sure if they forgot to add the soy milk, but it didn't have that thick creamy texture. It usually takes me a very long time to get through a Jamba Juice smoothie (I can only manage the small size), however, I was done with that one by the time I hit Lincoln and Jefferson, that's just how watered down it was. I had to do a double take on my cup when I realized it was all gone so fast. Customer service was okay, but could have been better. The girl who took my order was kind of luke warm. The reason for the lower rating isn't for quality of products, it's due to this being a franchise and that it gives them the power to keep the restrooms being closed to the public including customers due to COVID! Seriously, we are already out of that state of COVID and with the vaccines, what's the big deal?! The last few times I've been here, they seem to be really cutting down in staff. There's often one person working and at times, two workers at most. Due to this, you have to be prepared to wait a while. Staff on site are always working hard so respect to that. Product is always in point and delicious as always. Jamba Juice never lets me down. My recent favorite thing to order here are their frozen yogurts. Get the apple cinnamon one with candied pecans and toasted almonds. If I get a Jamba Juice tonight, I can put it in the freezer and enjoy it in the morning. When I walked by, on my way to Nichols, I saw them mopping up and cleaning the counters, always a good sign. I ordered some drink with pineapple in it and patiently waited. A woman had ordered two pretzels before I had come in. She walked back in, as I was waiting. She told the girl behind the counter that her pretzels were cold, then handed them back to the girl. Rather than throw them away and make fresh ones, which would have been the right thing to do, she put them back in the oven and heated them up. NASTY!
