Extremely rude staff member. I was just there (Thursday @ 11am), I pulled to the side to pour smoothie in a cup for my 2 year old. She yelled form the back counter and asked me to move away from the order screen. *Noting.... NO ONE was in line... and there was plenty of room to go around me. I was in that exact spot because they have chairs blocking the rest of the counter top, and I wanted to ensure I didn't block the entrance door. I stood there for no more than 2 minutes. She then said, "Have a good day!" Like, get out of here. Don't waste your time for a watered down smoothie. I'd much rather spend my $ across the street at Cow's End!!! Was craving some boba and I was down the street so I thought I'd give this place a try. Just had Hawaiian bubble tea on the self serve order screen. Didn't taste like it had milk in it, so don't think it was a milk tea. I got the strawberry and added boba. Probably the worst I've had. Tasted like water and fake flavoring. Boba was mush, overcooked and clumped together. Sister got an açaí bowl. She didn't say it was bad or good. Maybe just go here for the smoothies? But can't say bc I didn't get one. Really wish I had googled other boba places beforehand. There are MUCH better options around. read more

Amazing fresh juice! Every time I come in to town I always take my time to stop by for greens juice and also their smoothie is very yummy! Met the other girl there while we waiting for drinks she said she walked from Venice sign to this smoothie place it's almost a mile just to get the Venice Muscle Beach smoothie! I came in saying that I got charged when they have online orders available she was rude as hell and turned the blender on to try n get me out. I waited patiently to try and tell her that I'd like my bowl I paid for and she basically said it's not her fault. I have never gotten the food here, but as a juice bar this place is PERFECT. 1) It's organic, people should NOT be drinking non-organic juices due to the concentration of pesticides you'll be consuming 2) It's quick. You'll maybe wait like 5-6 minutes. 3) It's affordable. Not more expensive than whole foods or any other place, and this place looks clean too. I'll come here once or twice a week during my bike ride and get a 24 oz all greens no apple with lemon and ginger and drink that before i go home. It's great, and I've never had a problem with the staff, they've always been awesome. Quick and convenient stop for smoothies and açaí bowls on Venice beach (just a few steps from it). I got an acai bowl because it was cheaper than a large smoothie which was weird. Açaí bowl is a rip off. It is mostly banana slice topping and barely any açaí base (which is the primary ingredient of an AÇAÍ bowl). The bowl was 3/4 filled with toppings -_- 2 stars since the flavor was good, but value is definitely not there. read more

I don't recommend ordering from this place using the Yelp app. When I got to the store, they had not received my order although the app said it was received. The guy kindly made my drink up right away which was nice. However, he suggested calling them instead as he said they have problems with online orders. When I looked back at my credit card statement later, sure enough, I had been charged twice - once directly and once via GrubHum/Yelp. DISCRIMINATION... OR 'NAH'??? This is the second time in less than a year, that I've attempted to patronize this business. Both times I've been told they were "closed", then promptly ignored/dismissed... Even though they were clearly open (They close at 7 BTW, including Sunday). Today, my boyfriend and I walked in after our yoga class across the street and were told by a man behind the counter that they were closed.... It was 4:30pm, the door was wide open and all lights on. After an hour of exploring the canals we passed by again and saw the same cashier handing a homeless male customer his drink. After walking along the pier for half an hour, we headed back to our car and in doing so, passed the shop again. This time female customer in a bikini top and cutoff shorts was looking at the menu and looked to be telling her order to the same cashier. This is about an hour and a half after being told they were closed and an hour before their listed close time... hmmm Now I'm generally the last one to pull the "race card", as we live in a civilized and progressive society; but I cannot, for the love of me, figure out why BOTH times I've gone to this establishment I've been lied to about them being closed thus been refused service. Both times I've been clean, smiling, wearing shoes and fully clothed in either yoga gear or my work clothes (a chef's coat and dark pants); I'd say I've been polite, but both times I've never even gotten far enough in the process to say anything other than "hello". The only reason I can think of, is that I'm Black. I'd LOVE for it to be something else... ANYTHING else. For the love of goodness, can skin color, really, STILL be an issue in 2019??? Seriously, though. I truly hate to think, that the color of my skin is the reason I've been lied to by the cashier more than once, but what other conclusion can I come to? I'm honestly in shock about the negative reviews on this place. I walked by randomly and popped in. I got the 16oz Detoxade and literally watched the juicer grab the fruit from the fridge, juice it, and give it to me. It was probably one of the best juices I've ever drank and I've drank a lot of juices all over the world. It was a dash pricey, $9.99 for a 16oz is almost as much as a açaí bowl, but well worth it. Have they changed owners? i came to this place today and got 2 acai bowls as usual, it turned out to be nothing to what It used to be. To begin with, i noticed the cashier touching our acai bowls while they were making them right after touching the dogs water bowl that they placed outside, without changing his gloves or washing his hands . Completely disgusting. Then for the actual acai bowl, they gave us warm acai with the smallest portion of acai in it and like 3-4 old bananas on top, they completely forgot about all the good toppings. $20 thrown away. We ordered the thai tea and the mango bubble tea and both were watered-down. The thai tea did not taste as if it had black tea nor condensed milk. In fact, the ingredients were questionable. The drinks tasted as if they consisted of powdered flavoring and water. The employee said they only had a large size available instead of the smaller option (which I assumed was a way to make money during the COVID-19 crisis). Service was slow. There were fewer bubble tea options than what was on the menu. The experience was sub-par to say the least. My grandmother was not satisfied with the experience. I had been wanting to try this place out for awhile especially the Brazilian Acai Bowl. I ordered the bowl with protein powder. It was probably the worst I've ever had (and I have a them all the time). It was basically chopped up bananas, a few strawberries and granola with very watery Acai mix. I should have just ordered a smoothie or needed to drink this "bowl" with a straw. I then spoke to the owner about this and showed her the bowl. I asked her if this was the way it was supposed to be. She said it was not, but her employee made it incorrectly. She offered to remake it, which she did, but did not add the protein powder. It was a lot thicker, but really not that much blended Acai. It more like a bowl of fruit with some Acai mixed in. If I wanted a bowl of fruit, I would have ordered that.
