LA we had to try it. I was so excited to go and try this location! So my daughter wanted to relive the experience with my grandaughter. I got off the car with my grandaughter . I FaceTimed my daughter so she can see what we were ordering at the register. I said I wanted boba in mine and the male employee said(mind you with my grandaughter and daughter witnessing his attitude) He said, "Obviously I just opened so there is no boba". I couldn't believe this early he already had a bad attitude. Thats really not my problem yall. They should start an hour early if that's what it takes. False advertising to say they sell boba if you have to wait an hour after they open to get boba. Then with the attitude? Very rude. I got so sad and I just ordered one drink. It was strawberry banana. I asked if he had other non dairy options and he got upset because I even asked that question. The smoothie tasted bad like it was done half assed. I'm dissatisfied with hi s service. I ordered the largest one they had. Waste of my fuel, time, energy, effort, money and taste buds. Even my grandaughter that is 3 didn't like it. So disappointing. Without my girlfriend I wouls have likely never gone to Surf City Squeeze but it immediately became one of our favorite spots in the mall. The two main workers, a nice older Asain woman and a (I think hispanic) man see us order all the time and are always the most pleasant people to chat with. Surf City Squeeze has some of the best if not the best boba drinks on this side of town. Highly recommend their Oreo drink with or withour boba. The prices are highly competitive too as you really get your monies worth. Dead center of the food court too so it's easy to spot and always a delight. read more

The service is horrible !!! The Hispanic guy who works there with the earphones in his ear is very nasty, rude, unprofessional. I was in line and he was just standing at the blender waiting for a smoothie to blend and did not acknowledge me. I am so disappointed!!!! They have changed their smoothie ingredient!! Several years ago there smoothies were so SMOOTH and GOOD! I always ordered their blueberry and banana smoothie. My husband would order their strawberry and banana smoothie. Last year I went to order my usual smoothie to find out that it did NOT taste the same. I thought it was just a bad day. I went there again and tried it again. The same.....terrible! I said to myself..."they must have changed their smoothie ingredient. Sure enough...when I went there last week to ask about why their smoothie doesn't taste the same and that it didn't have a smooth taste like before. The girl that worked there said they changed the ingredient and agreed with me that it didn't have the smooth taste anymore. I won't be going to Surf City anymore. So disappointed!!! Afterwards, was going to check out the food court, when i ran right into this smoothie kiosk right near the escalator, and immediately had this irresistible urge for a smoothie! One of the ladies behind the counter was handing out samples. AFter looking at the menu (all pictures - easier to pick out what you want), i decided on a berry-banana smoothie. Was at the mall and wanted something refreshing, I normally go to the fresh squeezed orange juice vending machine for an oj, I'm a big fan of all things fresh. Surf City advertises fresh squeezed lemonade, when I ordered one I noticed the worker grabbing a pitcher with lemonade in it I stopped and asked her "is it not fresh squeezed or do you pre squeeze it early for prep she informed me it's not fresh squeezed at all it's a pre mix lemonade which is not the same as fresh squeezed, the fact they advertise it so big is false advertisement. I had already paid and told her to give it to me still. It was tangy and not even good. I wasted almost $5 for fake lemonade! read more

During our visit tonight my husband purchased a strawberry banana smoothie which did not taste right. It was still full when we took it back to see if they could remake it or exchange it because it was either the milk base or strawberries that were tangy or sour. They stated no refunds or exchanges and they tried adding more which did not help it and they offered only to add additional fruits to the existing one which is not what we wanted. Thebgirls then went on to state how she doesn't like or drink smoothies so she couldn't sympathize with his situation ot know of what he speaks. Then the other girl just kept pointing to the signs. When we asked for the information of the manager or owner they claimed there was no contact info and the number on sign was disconnected. There needs to be a better customer service and quality control or customer satisfaction as we frequent this store and other locations often. One girl gave her name Stephanie the other refused. They claimed the owner only has a cell phone and could not be reached. This has got to be one of the poorest customer service experiences ever and something needs to be adjusted. If I go to Starbucks, coffee bean, Jamba juice or anywhere else that makes items that are consumed and they are not made right or there is a problem they fix it immediately. Needless to say we left the full smoothie right there in the counter dissatisfied and annoyed. So we wasted 5 bucks on a smoothie that was unable to be consumed. Nonetheless less I will be posting this on yelp as well as reporting to the BBB.it was unprofessional and frankly irresponsible because for all we know the base could have been left out or the strawberries or bananas were not up to par which could later affect someone's health as well. This needs to be fixed and those employees need to be properly trained in customer service. And there needs to be accurate contact info for the business available at all times. read more

The smoothie was great but when the boy was making my smoothie I was listening to the manager while she was lecturing some girl in there she seemed very rude and the girl looked uncomfortable and it made the manager seem very unprofessional and I really didn't appreciate her but over all the smoothie was great the costumer service is great ...
