Stumbled into here after shopping around with a friend and needed a small snack. I ordered myself a smoothing and she ordered an acai bowl. My smoothie was so good. I don't think I took a single moment to breathe while drinking it. I glanced over and noticed my friend devoured her bowl. That says two things, either we have no manners or it was that good. (Or both) Ambiance here is cute. It has an upstairs for seating and photos if needed and the downstairs also has seating inside and out (could be limited if you're in a wheelchair) . Ordering is through a screen towards the front, I know a bunch of people are not fans of the touch screen ordering but as someone who is shy, it's always a bonus for me.

I tried the classic açaí bowl with coconut, mango purée, and chia pudding, topped with banana, strawberry, and mango. Unfortunately, it was too sweet and too watery for my taste--not the style I usually enjoy. I don't think I'll be returning. The service was pretty fast and the space looked clean.

Friendly staff, nice vibe and ambiance inside and out, with a cute upstairs and outdoor chairs to enjoy your acai. Just know, this acai is more of a smoothie / watery consistency and it's on the sweeter side. With that said, don't get sweet toppings that will make the acai cup more sweeter if you don't like it too sweet. Plus, I personally prefer my acai firmer and less smoothie watery texture. I want mine less sweet with more natural flavor from the acai berry. It was 4th of July and they emailed me a promo of $4 off any $15 or more purchase so I got The Works cup, plus almond butter, an extra $1.50 for it making it $15.45, eligible to take off the $4. If you choose to make your own cup, you can add bananas, strawberries, and blueberries at no additional cost. Overall though, the price range is on the high end that I dont personally care to pay for the texture of the acai. I personally prefer the Ubatuba acai consistency and texture.

I love this place, but they recently stopped filling the cup with acai. They charge $18.85 for a large bowl, and refuse to fill the cup with açaí because it has toppings. I expect better from a premium brand. Please change your policy.

This location is really nice and would be such a cool place to hang out with friends. It's very spacious with high ceilings and even had an upstairs area with nice lighting. There was a touch of purple accents with soft cushions so it was an enjoyable place to hang out. I visited this place because there was a DoorDash deal so I was trying Oakberry for the first time. The front cashier was friendly and patient as I struggled to think through which of the unlimited toppings I wanted to add in my bowl. The ingredients were very fresh, not too sweet, and had great consistency. Parking in Abbot Kinney wasn't too difficult since I was visiting in the evening so I got free street parking.

Ordered two completely different bowls and received two of the exact same thing, neither of which being what I ordered. I'm allergic to nuts so I can't eat either of them because I don't know what's in them. They don't answer the phone either. I just want to know if I will die if I eat this!! If you have a nut allergy don't even bother.

I would not call them bowls if they come in a cup. I ordered the fruity bowl and it was way too sour and the açai texture is super watery. It tastes very watered down and seems like a very fast food style. For an açai "cup" they charge about $16-$18 which is kind of bizarre because the açai is straight from a machine. The moment you get the açai it is already melting.

Nice location in an artisty shopping strip. You can order at kiosk or with cashier. There's decent options from açaí bowls to smoothies. Upper and ground level constabl comfortable seating. Great for small meetups or remote work using complimentary WiFi. Costumer service could be brighter but attentive and fast. I ordered the zen matcha. You can customize if needed. Tasty and healthy smoothies, great for a walk to Venice beach or window shopping along the strip. I'll return to try other items.

Great quick, healthy, pretty snack at average Abbot Kinney prices. Staff: really helpful and friendly. Explained all of the bowl and smoothie options. Food: got a small bowl with a ton of toppings for $15 including tax and tip. Açaí, collagen, granola, coconut, almond butter, honey, blueberries, strawberries, banana. Serious yum. Location: street parking can be difficult during busy times like nights or weekends. Try the little metered lots on the east side of Abbot Kinney. A few small tables available upstairs or some seating outside on the street. It was fairly quiet when I attended but I heard it was packed over the weekend.

Açaí with peanut butter in it is going to be a new favorite combo for me! I got the 16oz build your own and it was the perfect size to supplement a meal. I used the ordering device to add all the things I wanted (try granola, coconut, honey, peanut butter, strawberries, bananas, and blueberries for an amazing combo) and it was ready a few minutes later. I thought everything was fresh and tasted great!! If you like açaí, you'll like this spot!

Okay....this bowl is DELICIOUS. Truly, I was so happy eating this. Three people asked me where I got it. Was it because I was smiling? Was it because the bowl itself looked good? Was it a combo? We may never know haha. But, dang it was something else. I wish I didn't live in NYC I'd get one bowl a day. I had to take one star off...just cuz...yeah, it's pricey. But I'm sure it has to do with the prime location. But it's still expensive haha.

If you're looking for a refreshing treat by Venice Beach, stop by Oakberry for an açaí bowl or smoothie. I tried their two new summer flavors: passion fruit açaí bowl and smoothie. It wasn't too sweet! I wasn't the biggest fan of how their granolas tasted, but still good. You can customize your bowl with their unlimited toppings. There are many locations in SoCal by the beaches.

The acai is very very tasty - however I give it 4 stars because it is a bit pricey. The one pictured was $18. Also costs $3 to add protein and they just scoop the protein on top of the bowl, it's not mixed into the acai at all, and is a bit difficult to mix in yourself because it's served in a cup rather than a bowl.

But the first night I went to Crossroads Kitchen with a group of friends, I was genuinely blown away. The vibe is great, the food is amazing, and it instantly became one of my favorite restaurants in Hollywood, vegan or not. This place is absolutely top tier. It offers a fresh, modern take on vegan Italian cuisine. Drinks & Appetizers We started with two cocktails: the Strawberry Girl (alcoholic) and the Let It Be (non-alcoholic). Both were excellent. For appetizers, we ordered the Moroccan Cigars, served with a light, tangy yogurt-style dipping sauce with just the right amount of heat. The cigars themselves were delicate, filled with plant-based meat, and lightly fried. Think of an elevated, artisanal taquito. A perfect lead-in to the main course. Entrées We ordered two dishes: the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka with the chicken Parmesan add-on, and the Spicy Meatball Pizza. Pro tip: absolutely add the chicken Parmesan to the rigatoni. The vodka sauce was bold and spicy without overpowering the dish, and the chicken Parm was beautifully cooked with excellent texture, a natural and well-balanced pairing. The pizza was exceptional. True to its name, there was a meatball in nearly every bite. It's topped with ricotta and dusted with parmesan, and we added red chili flakes for an extra kick. The crust is very thin and artisanal, and every component, the marinara, meatballs, sausage, ricotta, and parmesan, worked in perfect harmony. The dough alone is worth finishing every last piece. Dessert We ended with the Brownie Sundae, which was the one minor letdown of the evening. The ice cream appeared to have been pre-scooped, as it was quite firm with visible ice crystals, not ideal. The brownie itself, however, was absolutely delicious, though the portion felt a bit small relative to the dish as a whole. Overall, the sundae was just okay. I'd likely skip it next time and explore other dessert options. Service & Atmosphere The service was fantastic, and the overall ambiance was warm and inviting. The pacing of the meal was particularly impressive. Drinks, appetizers, entrées, and dessert all arrived at just the right tempo. Nothing felt rushed, and nothing lingered too long. Parking There is no dedicated parking for the restaurant. Crossroads is located on Melrose Avenue, a busy shopping district with heavy foot traffic and limited street parking. That said, we visited on a Sunday afternoon and found street parking without much trouble. If spots near the restaurant are taken, driving a few blocks into the surrounding neighborhood usually turns up more options, just be prepared for a short walk. Plan your arrival time accordingly to avoid any parking stress. Overall, Crossroads Kitchen delivered on every front. Creative food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend, with the rigatoni and pizza as must-orders.

Each time I've come the waitstaff has been super friendly, and the food amazing. So, when planning a little birthday lunch for my mom's 81st birthday, this was one of the first places I thought of. My mom lives in south LA and we live in the valley, so after picking her up, we wouldn't have to travel far to eat. Although we planned to arrive to the restaurant at 2, traffic was horrible and we arrived at 230pm. After looking for parking, I dropped the fam off at 2:40 so they could sit and look at the menu while I found parking. I get a text from my husband saying they closed at 3 so hurry. This was news to me, as I thought they closed at 5. I found parking and rushed in at 2:48, to see my family outside the restaurant. Perplexed, I went in to ask if we could still eat, as it wasn't yet 3pm. No wait staff came to the front to greet me, so I walked in a bit and asked the waiter if it was okay to eat. The waiter said we close in ten. I said I thought the website said you closed at 5. I must have read it wrong. I understand, but it's not 3 and we came a bit of a distance and it's my mom's 81st birthday. The waiter, whose name is Jack, offered to ask the kitchen if they would still make food. I said yes please would you ask? While Jack was asking, another waiter asked me if I had been helped. I told him yes, that Jack was asking the kitchen if we could still have lunch. This waiter says, we're closing in 10. I'd like to have lunch too. And walks away. Yes, with shade. Jack returns and says it's fine as long as we can order within a few minutes of getting the menu. I say great and we all come in. The 2nd waiter takes our order with the least amount of personality he possibly can, and the whole lunch is slightly awkward and we're not able to truly enjoy ourselves with the feeling of "we better hurry up and eat" lingering. By the time we ordered and received our food (which was delicious as usual) , there were still 4 other groups of customers there, and we actually left the restaurant within a minute or two after the last customers before us. Also, no one came around to ask how our food was and if we needed anything. I'm giving 3 stars because this experience didn't quite sit right with me. Yes, it was near closing, but your doors weren't closed and there was no sign saying last call/order at 2:45 or anything like that. I feel like once the kitchen approved making our lunch, customer service should have been at its peak for paying customers, who gave no attitude and tried to be as polite with the ask as possible. It was not. I still tipped 25%, because Jack (waiter 1) was polite and my 81 old mama who I was celebrating raised me that way, but I'm not sure I'll patronize them again.

They were a hit and guests were amazed that the selections were vegan. I recently stopped in to try one of the dessert offerings. I picked up a lemon bar from the refrigerated section, which was made by Mort and Bettys - a Jewish Vegan Deli. Gisselle was taking care of the daily operations and was so delightful. She is such a lovely gal with a wonderful personality. The lemon bar, which was also gluten free, had a nice flavor but the texture was a bit weird for me. It was firm & gelatinous. I'm used to a softer consistency. The crust was like a nutty graham cracker. It was nice. Next time, I'll try one of the house made baked goods. If you're Vegan or Vegan curious check this place out. *Small parking lot or street parking. *Reward points program.
