I had an awful experience here today. My little boy and I went to Jamba Juice to get him a kids Boba and me a smoothie. we were there around 3:30 4 o'clock. The young woman that was working there had no personality and did not even smile. But the worst part was my little boy who is 10 years old remembered that he had used the bathroom there before and he went over to the customer bathroom and asked for the keys as the door was locked. The young woman I mentioned earlier told us there told us that the bathroom was not open to the public. and I inquired about that since there is a bathroom that is for paying customers. She told me to ask the owner about it in a very flippant way. We had just paid for drinks. Not only is that the rudest customer service that I have ever experienced at Jamba Juice, but it also puts me into question about the owner of this establishment. Why would you have a bathroom for customers and not allow paying customers to use it? I live in the neighborhood with my family. We use the facilities, restaurants, stores and shops in this area. We won't be walking into Jamba Juice again. The best, I can think of is your business closes down. And I will laugh when I see that happen, which it will. I've seen it before, and it most definitely will happen. Treat your customers with care. They are the people keeping your place open. Pathetic. Thumbs way down. read more

This place gets bonus points because when I got a fresh pressed juice they asked if I wanted it on ice (I did) and they served it in a bigger cup so the ice would fit. The last time at Century City mall, they didn't ask me if I wanted ice so I didn't even know it was an option. So now I know to ask for it! This JJ is located in a strip mall and it has a lot of free parking! Woohoo! They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. Service was friendly. Will be back again. Love my Great Greens juice! I came in on a Sunday afternoon, the location was not busy there was 3 to 5 staff members working and I ordered two drinks, I had one sent back not twice but three times! the first time because it was not thick enough and I specifically asked the cashier to make It think the second time send it back because it had no flavor and then the third time I was not 100% satisfied. I am I'm kind of feeling like I should've made this smoothie at home and save 15$ dollars for the two weak smoothies. On July 18th my boyfriend and I came to this location where there were 3 young males working the front. Upon ordering 2 drinks we tried using gift cards that had credit on them - one employee kept failing to correctly run the Jamba Juice gift card. After he tried to tell us there was no money on the card he had asked another employee to help and we were able to complete the purchase (as truly there was money on the cards we had ). I ordered a Gotcha matcha with no whip because I am dairy intolerant and as I watched them prepare my drink I witnessed them use a near empty matcha carton to fill my cup what was already amply filled with ice . On top of that the matcha solution that was used had residue at the bottom of the carton -I witnessed the employee prepare my drink add sink water on the top to fill up the cup. I kindly asked the other worker to exchange the unsatisfactory drink with a watermelon breeze plant based in which he said he could do for me. Upon waiting an extra 20 minutes the same employee that agreed to exchange my drink requested that I show a receipt for the newly purchased drink that he said he would exchange for me . Another customer even came up to me and verbally shared that they observed a poor preparation of my drink. Shortly after I clarified my dissatisfaction with my matcha , I emphasized that the drink that they agreed to make me in replacement was cheaper than the price I paid for the previous drink they tried to serve me. Another employee came to intervene but only heightened the issue. I was not cursing nor being disrespectful and the employee asks me "why am I talking to him like this". I responded I wouldn't be frustrated if they did their job correctly and suggested they correct the situation. I can not identify the employees because none of them had name tags. I requested to speak to a manager and out of the 3 employees on duty no one acknowledged my request. Come to find out the employee that agreed to make my drink told his coworkers he threw it away (in front of me). They continued to question why I wanted to them to correct the order and my response was that they should be doing their job and executing their duties correctly. After constant non compliance my boyfriend returned his drink to them and it spilled on the counter during the exchange . As we were exiting from the store 2 employees became aggressive . One employee was taking his apron off and began charging at my boyfriend while by boyfriend has his back turned (as he is walking out the door) I had to step in from of him as a woman and block him from aggressing toward my boyfriend . The other worker who has a lisp was very threatening and took his phone out to record the incident. This employee also threatened to call the police. He additionally threatened to obtain our credit card information from your cashiers records. After he said that I emphasized his poor jurisdiction and racist and discriminatory mannerisms. Once I pulled out my phone the same employee that was charging at my boyfriend started apologizing and saying it wasn't him that said he would call the police it was his coworker. None the less the behaviors of these men are unacceptable, and discriminatory. Please review all your resources and cameras to support the validity and severity of this event. There were many customers who witnessed this incident so it wasn't just me who was disappointed it was me and 10+ people that I had to experience this with. I will be adamant in seeking disciplinary action for these inappropriate behaviors , until this situation is corrected in a professional manner. Our safety was compromised, our money was essentially stolen, and that is not something a costumer should experience for wanting a drink at your establishment . read more

This is the best Jamba Juice location in LA County I've been to Santa Monica, Torrance, UCLA,, Ladera Heights, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and MDR ranks tops for me on Customer Service and getting orders right. Redondo comes in a strong second. The guys at Redondo said they were trained in MDR. No matter who's working in the MDR location, I feel my fresh juices will have the right amount of veggie & fruit. They are ALWAYS so cheerful. I've been there in the morning, afternoon, and near closing at night and they are all working in harmony with one another. Today the young lady forgot my son's whey protein and she promptly told me my order would take a little while longer. Some other locations I watch them prepare my order and if they forget something they try to cover up the fact that they forgot when I inquire. What happened to this store? This store use to be the standard for Jamba Juice. I went in with my sister and from the jump I was bad. No one greeted us when we walked in and none of the displays were up. We waited too long in line for a drink. My sister wanted a mango a go go with strawberries, the girl at the register suggested an all fruit smoothie that wasn't even similar accept that it had mangoes and strawberries but... whatever. She got her drink and was completely dissatisfied and mentioned her drinks from the location are too watery and have no flavor. So they were working on what looked like a box of smoothies to take to an event. The box was sitting on the floor and it was extremely raggedy, dirty and nasty. They were putting the drinks in the box ON THE FLOOR. If I was at this event they were peeping for I would run the other way if I saw you selling smoothies out of this nasty looking box. Secondly, what happened to having neat hair? This one girl had a ponytail all the way down to the counter and her hair was making contact with the blenders and countertops. Then another chick was pouring drinks and she too had on messy super long braids and long green acrylic fake nails. I thought fake nails were prohibited in food service. I thought hair was suppose to be kept neatly pulled back and over the shirt collar? My sister got her drink but I didn't want anything Bc the store and the employees looked a mess. I was very disappointed. This store felt more like a Jamba Juice in the hood vs a Jamba Juice in MARINA DEL REY! When I walked in "Hello's" rang out like wedding bells on Christmas day. Everyone was smiling and when I went to the register I mentioned I was there for the $1 smoothie special. The cashier was super friendly and all smiles... she explained a few items that weren't included in the special then based on a review I asked how about something with Peanut Butter... Turns out this girl loves that drink so took out my dollar (tax inclusive) and waited about 3 minutes for my selection to arrive. I would have liked the drink a bit thicker but there were noticeable chunks of banana's in the drink. The smoothie itself wasn't anything spectacular but what most stood out was the great ch-eerie atmosphere! I sat outside comfortably in earshot of some gossip going on with some random couple then after finishing off the drink I stepped inside and once again "Hello's" rang out followed by a "Goodbye" as they realized I was just throwing away my cup... this staff is on the ball. My coworker & I went to this Jamba during our lunch break. We arrived at approximately 12:30 & didn't leave until 12:50. We ordered 2 drinks & apparently that took 20 minutes to make. The staff was nice & apologetic because we weren't the only customers waiting for a long time. My bigger issue came when I only received 1 drink from my order when I brought it up the staff they quickly made the missing drink but they added a boost when we didn't ask for a boost. Luckily my coworker didn't mind the fact that she got a boost but none the less that's not what we ordered 20 minutes ago. It makes no sense to me why only have 2 employees working during the "lunch rush" & they only have 2 blenders. That's poor planning on every regard, staffing & set-up. read more

I fell in love with smoothies all the back in the 90s when Jamba Juice was called Juice Club! I'm happy that they've added the fresh-squeezed options, as that's really what you expect from a place with juice in the name, right? The Acai bowls need some work. It's great that they've added them to the menu, but the staff is very inconsistent when it comes to the quality, texture and flavor. Same for the smoothies actually. They took 30 minutes to make an açaí bowl. I had a hair appointment and was 20 minutes late because they took way too long to make an açaí bowl. The person behind me got their order before me, and it just didn't make sense. I usually do order pick up but it wouldn't let me order pick up an açaí bowl so I had to wait the 30 minutes. Açaí bowls should take no more than 15 minutes yet I was waiting 30. Im not sure if they were short staffed but this is unacceptable. read more

Don't waste your time placing a pickup order on their app. I placed an order (on the app) and it stated it would take about 10 mins to be ready. I don't live far so it took me another 5-10 mins to get there. Once I'm there I stand in line outside (because the inside capacity is 5 people). Another 10 min wait, which I didn't mind. However, once I get inside I head to the "mobile pick up" desk and to my surprise.. it wasn't ready. I had ordered 2 smoothies and I don't know why but they only had one ready in the freezer and not the second one. So I waited another 10 mins to get my second smoothie. This is probably the worse Jamba Juice I've been to. I have never seen one so dirty. The bathroom is a disaster: toilet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months, no soap for hand washing, and dirt everywhere. It's unbelievably unsanitary.
