My friend and I came here on a Tuesday evening, and since I've been to Pressed Juicery multiple times before, I already knew the layout and what to expect. We were both craving something sweet but still on the healthier side, like soft serve or ice cream, and they definitely delivered. They have four different flavors: vanilla, chocolate, açaí protein, and a tropical protein option. I ended up getting the vanilla soft serve and chose three toppings, vegan gummy bears, granola, and almond butter. My total came out to around $8, which honestly feels pretty standard for soft serve these days. The vanilla flavor was really good, and I especially loved the vegan gummy bears, they were such a fun addition. The only thing that took away from the experience was the service. The girl helping us wasn't very friendly, and it made things feel a little awkward, especially when I asked to sample a few flavors (I'm indecisive, so I like to try before committing). I needed a reset. I went back home (Hawaii) for the holidays and ate my way through all the sweets and ate whatever I wanted 3 times over. The good thing about eating whatever I wanted back home in December was the weather. I was able to hike, swim, and walk everywhere. In San Diego I struggle to work out due to the cold weather. In Hawaii it was consistently 80 degrees or higher in December. Since my body was use to eating whatever I wanted for weeks I needed a reset into being more conscious of what I put in to my body because I wouldn't be nearly as active. I came in knowing I wanted a reset but didn't have a clue where to start. The person helping me was patient, kind, genuinely listened to me and made great suggestions. I ended up doing the 1 day reset cleanse and cleanse 2 (customer favorite). I've done the cleanse 2 before and really liked it. It had more fruit and was sweet which you know I like. It was my first time doing the 1 day reset cleanse. I put a timer to help me remember to drink the juice. I also drank water in between. I was in need of refreshments and I didn't feel like getting unhealthy mall beverages. I came across the strawberry basil and it was impeccable. When you sign up for a rewards account, you are prompted to get a free shot and they gave out elderberry shots too! My choice for the free shot from signing up: Blue Aura energy. It had 100mg of caffeine and it was really smooth. Check this out if you don't want sugary drinks and you're at the mall. They also have acai bowls. I would say as far as ice cream goes, I would probably give a 3/5. I did sample a lot of their pressed juices, which I think most other people would come here for and they were tasty and varied. We tried a few samples and got our bowls, but there was a bit of a problem going on with the vanilla and it was kind of soupy instead of holding its shape like soft serve. I can't remember the problem they were having that night but we didn't care, it went down the same! They even gave us a discount for the wonky vanilla which was super sweet!!! We got snickerdoodle and vanilla, and were not disappointed once again. The soft serve is bursting with delicious flavor and I love that it's all real ingredients! This is based on my most recent visit. I went in looking for a 3-day cleanse but there was only a 1-Day, Half Day, or a 7 Day Simple Cleanse. I opted for the 1-Day Cleanse 3 (Experienced) since I needed something quick but unfortunately, the cleanse wasn't as good as the previous 7 Day Simple Cleanse I did a few months ago. You're given 6 bottles of pressed juice (one was a smoothie) which the taste of each was different. Some were sweet some were bitter and some were bland. The results of the 1-Day Cleanse should have been better but all I did was urinate all day - barely had my guys cleaned out which was unfortunate as this is what I wanted. The Simple Cleanse which required just a bottle in the morning definitely cleans you out compared to the 1-Day cleanse. I wouldn't say it was effective. I would much rather do the Simple Cleanse but it just takes 7-days... The staff I dealt with didn't seem knowledgeable about the store's products so they weren't able to answer questions like "should I eat or just drink this?" - staff need more training to at least be able to give out recommendations on cleanses. I haven't tried their other products so this is based on the most recent visit combined with a few months ago. read more

A couple of other recommendations - 1 - count your juices. I was short 1 which I guess is partially my fault but there were 11 juices on the counter and I just assumed it was all of them. I had a small serving of half vanilla and half strawberry and almond soft serve topped with granola and slivered almonds. Both actually come made with almonds but the strawberry had a more almond pronounce flavor. I liked the simple natural ingredients both flavors had. Both flavors had a rustic semi creamy and grainy texture in a good way. There are no additives nor dairy here to promote and silky texture but it works. The young lady who served me was super cool. I asked for a taste and she pointed to outside and I had figured out she was pouting to outside. I went out there. I thought that I was supposed to help myself then she came to bring me some drink sample cups then when I went back and I asked for graham crackers on the side, she wouldn't give them to me. I said I was gonna pay for it. .50 for a teaspoon. I asked for more but she said that's all I get for .50 unless I want to pay double. When somebody is the face of the company, they should be polite, professional, pleasant, welcoming, supportive, and helpful. She was none of those. I can't even believe she works there. She hates her job and it's obvious if you get a Kayli or Kylie ask her someone else to help. Their juices don't even taste good. You should go to choice Juicery they're so much better tasting.
