I've never been disappointed by the drink quality here and there's another Starbucks closer to me but I always come back here. The staff are always super friendly and make the drinks with love. I was honestly having a terrible day and decided to get a brown sugar shaken expresso. I'm not sure what the staffs name was but he was male and i believe he had a silver nose piercing with short black hair anyways he slays. He greeted me so kindly and wrote a sweet message on my drink. Whoever you are I hope you have an amazing life and a raise and all that you wish for. Parking was super easy to find since it's located in a shopping center. Our cashier, Nathen, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a college student working hard, he definitely deserves a raise! Even though the place was busy, our drinks came out fast. I ordered a cortado, and it tasted excellent -- smooth, flavorful, and made just right. The barista, Dunn, was focused, efficient, and clearly a dedicated hard worker. The décor was beautiful warm and full of chairs which is important for be especially as a crocheter who loves spending time in coffee shops. STARBUCKS @ MISSION VALLEY This Starbucks is located in a plaza shared by Ikea, Costco, and many other stores. Usually it gets packed, but my friend and I came to this Starbucks at 7am before a day trip up north! It was empty, and there was 15 minute parking available right out front. I decided to get my usual Iced Matcha Latter and added peppermint syrup, and my friend got an Iced Chai Latte, total was about $13, not too bad. The iced matcha latte was so bad, like it was a no from me, and the worker explained to me that Starbucks changed their way of making it, and it was blending the drink instead of shaking it. She was extremely nice, and remade the drink, trying to make it as less foamy as possible. It came out delicious, and even in a venti when I originally ordered a Grande! Overall, the service was incredible and very accommodating. The iced chai latte from my friend was really good as well, kind of tastes like a gingerbread. I placed a mobile order through the app for a customized drink that I've ordered many times before. When I picked it up, I noticed that there was very little strawberry cold foam, even though I had requested extra. I first asked a younger female staff at the front about it. She was polite and tried to help. Then, a middle-aged female staff member (around her 40s), who was working behind the bar further inside, spoke to me instead. She told me that the cold foam had just "blended into the tea." As someone who regularly orders drinks with cold foam, I know it doesn't blend in unless it's been shaken vigorously -- which wasn't the case here. I wasn't looking to make a big deal out of it, but her dismissive and defensive attitude was disappointing. A simple acknowledgment or apology would've been appreciated. Thankfully, young female staff at the counter was very kind and offered to add more strawberry cold foam for me -- I truly appreciated her professionalism and customer service. Clean, fast, friendly, huge, plenty of seating but could use some comfier seating options like other stores have. Great location but parking can be difficult at certain times. This Starbucks is located in the same shopping area as Ikea and Costco, but on the other, less busy side (thank goodness!) It's easy to place a mobile order and to run in quickly to grab your drink and food. I've had a handful of times where they haven't had the item I've ordered. When this happens, they leave an empty bag with your sticker on it and then you have to flag them down to ask for either a refund or a replacement. I've never trusted that a refund would actually come through, so I typically just get a replacement. This Starbucks location is very clean and spacious though and everyone has always been kind. read more

I've been to this Starbs a handful of times since I moved to the area. Exclusively when I run out of one of the home coffee making ingredients. The only good thing about this location is that it's fast and efficient when you put in a mobile order. The first three times I came here, my mocha had a delightful burnt aftertaste. The last time I came here, I had to order a white chocolate mocha because they were out of basically every syrup. My cup was only 2/3 full and they clearly made a salted mocha. Not sure what moron decided that salt in coffee was a good idea. Sorry but I'm over the sweet and salty trend. Unfortunately, the $6 coffees just don't seem to be worth it here. read more

I am their regular customer. Most of the times I came here, the employees are very nice and friendly. However, I had a very bad experience today with one of the new employees. She had a very bad attitude and provided bad customer service. I had my mobile order as usual. I stopped at the store to pick up my coffee 15minutes later after my order. I was told the coffee was not ready, but I understood that sometimes they're busy. But 15 minutes later I stopped by again and the coffee's still not ready. I asked the girl who worked there to help me to check it. But she did not look very happy, and she found my order on the tablet. She didn't apologize or else. Showed me her bad attituded and said would make my coffee. At the same time, a few more customers had mobile orders like me. One of them ordered 10 minutes ago, but he already had his coffee. That's why he asked me to check with them again. Yes, I was the last one to get my coffee even though I had a mobile order 30 minutes ago. One of the girls who worked there wanted to make a coffee for me, but the girl who's in the picture below with black hair said she would take care of it. I think she did it on purpose. I had Roxy ask me this morning if I wanted to speak to the manager with attitude because I brought to her attention how much they mess up (like i'm sorry CUSTOMERS say stuff like this so you can improve). I tried doing mobile orders here and they all get snatched up. They don't pay attention here or care. Lisa, Madison and Daniella are the sweeter baristas here. Super friendly and you can tell they're morning people. As for the rest if you're not a morning person please switch shifts and listen to your clients concerns to make this store better. I rarely go to Starbucks but decided to go this morning and I told the barista (don't recall her name but I hope she see's this review) I don't drink coffee often but would like a flavored hot coffee. She offered a cinnamon dolce and I said that sounds good and opted for a medium. When she gave it to me she said they ran out of coffee and needed to brew more so it wasn't full so she was going to charge me for a small. BF put in a phone orders for our drinks in the parking lot while I parked the car in front of IKEA. By the time we walked over to Starbucks our drinks were ready! They originally gave us the regular lids with straws. And I had him ask for the strawless sippy cup lids. Popped those on and gave our straws back. The lids work great, the opening of the spout is big enough to get a good swig of your drink. Some pieces of ice come through but it doesn't bother me. It's a good sized Starbucks, plenty of seating. They have a book shelf of merchandise on the left from the entrance. They have all the collectible California and SD cups. Parking is tricky on the weekends, everyone is going to Costco, ikea or Lowe's plus the restaurants around. It's a big parking lot though, you just might have to walk a bit. read more

This is location is not one of my favorites. I only come here if I'm in the area and really want coffee at the moment. The good 1. It's convenient. Located in Fenton marketplace. 2. It's one of the larger stores. 3. By chance I randomly asked if they had donuts, she said Yes! They actually had the two kinds of donuts I wanted. A classic glazed and Apple fritter. They were prepacked and not great. 4. Fairly quick with ordering through the app. Jump ahead in line! Everyone loves that! The bad 1. This location is always packed and extremely busy. See pic... The line is to the door. 2. The parking lot is always packed. You can't quickly park and get coffee fast. Everyone wants their coffee fast! 3. No drive through. Yes they're rare but great! 4. If I'm ordering through the app... Please get my order right! Yes, that is SOY, and yes I do want WHIP! My tummy knows what it likes and can handle! (See pic) You guys suck! 5. This Starbucks location is in the Fenton Marketplace near Ikea. I've came to this location a few times and it's your typical Starbucks overall. There's a bit of seating outside, and inside there's a decent seating area inside and also seating available up at the front counter. The drinks here are made right and the baristas here are nice. The night I came and posted up I sat at the front counter on their stool chair, a customer whom was at a nearby table was generous enough to share his outlet although the Starbucks wall outlet was faulty (plug is loose upon putting it into the wall and falls off).. he brought his outlet adapter plug and allowed me to use it in order to get my charge on. This is a very typical Starbucks with nothing that makes it stand out or special. The staff seem fairly efficient considering the high traffic this center gets with Ikea and Costco nearby as well as the sports arena a few blocks down. In general, the customers here seem to be mostly students and young professionals working in the area, so no surprises here. That being said, the seating is mostly high chair or outside benches so it's not great for shorter people who want to do work here. Normally, I rate Starbucks's on how clean their bathrooms are as it seems to be a good indicator of staff and facility management. Unfortunately, I was too busy to use the restroom this time around so I can't comment on the cleanliness of the bathrooms. This is a high traffic location though, so be warned. read more
