SDSU Special - Buzzerbeater w/ extra banana
    Bridget B.

This location of Nekter is good, however the inside is a bit dirtier than other ones i've been to. When the floors/interior is dirty, it does make you question the sanitation a bit. I ordered online and tried the SDSU special 'The Buzzerbeater'. It was good but a bit too sweet for my liking. I wasn't expecting such large chunks of date as the picture made it seem like the dates were pretty blended. Overall a good spot but I'd probably stick with the mission valley location.

Despite having Nekter locations in Seattle, I was never really enticed to grab a smoothie until I faced the California heat. It didn't take me long to decide on the PINK FLAMINGO ($10.95, regular size), a mix of pineapple, dragon fruit, strawberry, coconut water and agave nectar. While the dragon fruit gave this smoothie its beautiful vibrant pink hue, it only added a subtle flavor, and the strawberry wasn't super noticeable either. I actually tasted mostly pineapple, which I didn't expect, although I have no complaints since I love a tropical drink! As a whole, my smoothie was super refreshing and evenly blended. Thinking back to ones I've ordered elsewhere, there were always fruit chunks at the bottom of the cup, so I appreciated how this one had such a smooth consistency. My sister got the Açaí Banana Berry bowl. The blended base had a pretty strong banana flavor, along with Açaí, strawberry and blueberry. It came topped with granola, banana and fresh berries. Prices are a little high, especially for the smoothie, but it was worth trying and definitely restored my hydration. Out of convenience, if you're looking for something nutritious, this is a good option. However, given the simplicity of ingredients, it's something one could easily whip up at home. For the price, I feel it should have included at least a "boost" (supplement), but one of those is $1.00 extra.

Toxin flush is one of my favorite drinks to refresh you and hydrate. It tastes great and has lots of antioxidants. A small flush with the ices comes in medium sized cup. It's plenty to drink. All their drinks are fresh and well made. The service is fast and efficient. The store is clean and bright with indoor seating.

I love Nektar for smoothies. I usually come here to get a protein smoothie and they taste yummy, not too proteiny at all. They also offer pea protein if you didn't want whey. There's never a long line here and the employees make the smoothies pretty fast. I will say it is quite pricey, small is 9.59, regular is 11.59, large is 13.59. it is a lot to spend on a smoothie but I think it's worth the price if you're craving I've tried a few flavors - - PB&J is my favorite, the peanut butter flavor is strong and I like the jelly at the bottom. - PB mocha is pretty good, the coffee cuts the sweetness. - Strawberry banana is a classic flavor combo.

Fun location right in liberty station - get your yummy smoothie and walk around the park or down to the water. Love this place. I got the berry smoothie and it was great on a warm sunny day. The girl who made it was sweet and there was several people there in line but the service was fast

Nekter has great juice, smoothie, and bowl options. This one is in Liberty Station, so it's a great location to grab a treat thenvgo for a walk or sit by the water. You could also sit inside if there's inclement weather. I downloaded the app to get a free juice or smoothie after first purchase but it didn't show up right away. The cashier was super helpful explaining how to use the app to accumulate points and also let me know that rewards can sometimes takes 24-48 hours to show up in the app. I got both a grab-n-go green juice and an acai bowl. They were both refreshing and I look forward to going back for my smoothie.

This is the best smoothie place in Point Loma. All ingredients are clean and natural. They do a great job on changing their menu selection based on different ingredients. I love their protein packed smoothie as it's a great meal replacement. The PB Mocha is my favorite! The prices are a little more expensive (about $12) but it's worth it for the clean ingredients. They don't do fake sugar or unnecessary sugar, you can also ask for no sweetener. It's a grab and go type place so perfect for breakfast on the way to work or lunch if you work right in Liberty station.

This will be the last time I will be trying this location which is a shame because I live so close.

I been to this location about three times now. I came once and it took over what felt like 15 to make two smoothies for me and my husband and we were the only people in the store. my second experience was I came in after an appointment I had right next-door, and I could hear someone in the back and I was standing there waiting at the counter for what felt like over five minutes and no one came out so I just left. I recently ordered an Acia bowl from them and I specifically requested no coconut flakes on top. I hate coconut flakes and what do I get on my Acia bowl, coconut flakes.

Thanks to my kid's school I've been visiting/frequenting a new Nekter in Point Loma in Liberty Station. One thing I am big on, outside of customer service, is consistency of products, especially from a business who has multiple locations. I am happy to announce that Nekter has officially made the list. I'm a creature of habit and the only thing I get (because I love it) is their Acai Peanut Butter bowl. I visit both the La Jolla Village drive location this one in Point Loma and both locations make it the same AKA yummy! I really do appreciate when a chain store offers consistency. That's something that will keep me coming back. Thank you Nekter!

My friends and I were just looking to get a coffee in Little Italy, but when we walked in and saw all the delicious treats we had to try something else as well. I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The latte was good, and my friend bought a kitchen sink type cookie with chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. It was warm and gooey good! Another friend tried the gelato and said it was very good. There are a few tables inside and tables out in front outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful San Diego weather. The decor and tables definitely gives you an old school Italian neighborhood vibe with Italian markets right next door. If I am in the neighborhood again, I would definitely come back here to try the gelato and/or a piece of an excellent looking lemon pie bar I spotted.

The decor and setting is cute and quirky, including cow sculptures hanging upside down from the ceiling. There were only a couple other visitors when we arrived, as it was near opening time. Our dishes took a whopping 35 minutes to be ready, and service was not very friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the music playing through the speakers added a nice vibe to the place, songs like Our House by Madness and Can't Fight This Feeling. We ordered the brunch pizza (with eggs cooked overeasy) and the breakfast flatbread which looked almost identical when served, as well as an iced mocha. The quality of the pizza was pretty average, and the eggs were slightly overcooked. The drink was really good, made fresh, with a smooth taste and a nice sweetness to it, the plastic cup coated in chocolate sauce. It tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee, which I personally enjoyed. They typically serve gelato here, but it would not be ready till almost two hours after opening time. So no milkshakes or cold desserts were available in the morning this past Sunday (no worries, Ghirardelli is just a block away). I appreciate the variety of menu items offered here. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. Even though our recent visit was somewhat disappointing, I still gave 3 stars, assuming this was an off day for them.

They completely nailed the texture. Every single cookie hit that golden sweet spot--warm and gooey in the middle with just the right amount of crisp edge. What really stood out was the balance of ingredients. Chocolate Chip: Perfectly measured so you get sweet chocolate in every bite without feeling overwhelmed by chips. Peanut Butter Reese's: An absolute dream ratio of rich peanut butter to chocolate peanut butter cups. Snickerdoodle: Perfectly spiced, striking just the right "snicker-to-doodle" balance! Of course, we couldn't leave without trying the ice cream. I ordered a combination of Cookie Monster and Campfire in a single scoop. The portion size was remarkably generous--it completely filled up the small cup and delivered a fantastic mix of flavors. My wife went with a scoop combining Espresso Oreo and Mint & Chip, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, these were easily some of the best desserts we've had in a very long time.
