Hubby hadnt had a Jamba Juice before, as we were in the area shopping and had just finished eating at Brett's BBQ we headed here. This store is tiny, it's also not quite a brightly lit which I for a change found to be a bad thing. I went for a Razzmatazz while hubby had an Aloha pineapple. The making of the smoothies was kind of slow. Odd given that no one had ordered before us. The smoothie was ok, there was some ice which hadnt been blended properly (I think they added the ice later) so it wasnt quite as smooth as a smoothie should be. Store is nice and clean, service is fast and friendly. I like the fact they they now have the option of freshly squeezed juices. It was my first time ordering the Tropical Greens, which did not disappoint. Will definitely come back here to try the rest of the freshly squeezed juices menu. This location is getting busy again, or so it seems. That's great for the business, not so good for the customer. Just order 4 smoothies, a Açaí bowel and a couple of waffles. I've never been accused a quiet voice, usually the opposite unfortunately, so when we ended up with smalls smoothies instead of large s, I was a bit confused. When I asked about it she said, no they are smalls, said nothing else and turned around. She could have said oh sorry I thought you wanted smalls, of which I would have said it's okay no big deal. It's the interaction / communication that matters most. This location has always been great, so maybe it's just an off day. You know what's really awesome? When you place an order for two smoothies and there's no one else waiting for one...and you have to wait for ridiculous amount of time even though there are FOUR people working there. I'm not sure what they were all hovered around, but there is NO REASON why my drinks couldn't have at least been started. I've been going to Jamba Juice since the early 90's when I was in San Francisco. Have always loved their flavors. When I moved down to SD I was introduced to other places that did these smoothies, and I have to say I keep coming back to Jamba Juice because of the really great variety of flavors and decent prices. This particular location is new to me since we just moved to the area. I've been here a few times and they always seems on top of it. Very friendly staff. Good service. Even the other day when there were like 30 people waiting because it was close to a 100 degree day, the staff really did a great job keeping the juices coming and not getting flustered. I personally haven't been to a JJ in over a decade but my other half has been somewhat a regular. I always thought JJ gives too much sugar and with us being a health freak, I felt JJ wasn't the right place to avoid Diabetes Type II. Today, I gave it a chance so I ordered the protein berry smoothie and my other half ordered the acai bowl. I was wow'd by the protein berry smoothie and knowing it was a great post workout meal, it hit the spot and I will definitely come back for more. What a breath of fresh air! Not only is this Jamba juice store clean, bright, and easy to access, but when you walk in they......actually greet you! Gasp! This Jamba Juice is generally pretty speedy, and always friendly. I like ordering on the app, since it can get busy. Our family favorites include Peanut Butter Moo'd, Razzmataz, Orange Dream Machine, and Chili Mango. During the summer they had Watermelon Breeze, and that was super yummy. Worst Jamba Juice ever. Terrible service. The girl at the counter was rude to me and messed up the girl in front of me's order. When I got my drink there was about an inch and a half between where the drink ended and the lid. I even mentioned it to the girl behind the counter that handed me my drink. I rarely have a craving for Jamba Juice but when I do I find the closest one possible. I have my staple Aloha Pineapple that I always get. I ordered my "go-to" drink and didn't have to wait very long to get it but when I tasted it something was off and was not what I ordered. When I tried to speak to the closest employee, "Um, sorry to bug or be a pain but this doesn't really taste like pineapple", she rolled her eyes and walked away without a word. In person: Great Phone orders: Horrible Every time I try to place a phone order they immediately place me on hold. I continue to wait for 15 minutes until I give up and hang up. It is incredibly disrespectful to ignore customers and give them the impression that they will receive service. This has been an on going trend for at least a year and I don't understand how management would allow this. They probably loose so much business when someone attempts to place a large catering order. Unbelievable. To add insult to injury, there was only ONE customer in the shop this last time I attempted to make a phone call. I could not believe how RUDE the woman who helped me was...I believe her name is Crystal! I placed an online order and when I came into the store early in the morning she was on the phone having a personal conversation. Not only did she not acknowledge me at first but she continued to talk on the phone the ENTIRE TIME I was there! As far as Jamba Juice goes, about average. Used to go once a week but stopped because their recipes became inconsistent and thinner.

Their smoothies aren't blended enough. The ones I've had were chalky or the fruit not blended all the way through. The chocolate peanut butter one is their best tasting one and even then, they don't use enough peanut butter. They use a Blendtec. Vitamix does a better job. I like the shakes that I make at home much better, at a more affordable price. It's pretty pricey here. read more

We love to come here sometimes after working out and have had a very positive experience, for the most part! The employees are always polite and willing to answer any questions, but we have had a few issues with forgetting to add the extra boosters or substituting the milk base. The only reason I bring that up is because it's happened quite a few times to us at this location. Now we always ask to make sure they got the order right when paying and ask again if it has the boost in it when we actually get the smoothie. read more
