This place has a lot of potential, but consistency is an issue. The staff is always friendly, and the food--from açaí bowls to pastries--is reliably good. However, during busy times they often appear understaffed, which leads to noticeably long waits. More concerning, I once specifically requested a non-dairy milk substitute and was given regular milk, which caused a significant stomach reaction. As a former barista, I understand mistakes happen--but accuracy with dietary requests is important and shouldn't be overlooked. Overall, good food and kind service, but better staffing and more attention to order details would make a big difference. read more

Love Better Buzz Coffee! Every visit is consistently great, but I especially want to shout out Tina!! She is AWESOME. Super friendly, welcoming, and always makes the experience better from the moment you walk in. The turkey brie croissant is my FAV so delicious. This place was buzzing for the day after Thanksgiving! Lots of friends, families, and mid size groups. There's a drive thru, order ahead, and order inside options. Despite the crowd, the staff was swift in helping each person and attentive with updates when partial orders were ready. Beautiful decor inside as well as indoor and outdoor seating. A newer location that's easy to go to! Lines haven't been as crazy so it's an easy drive thru experience. Our drinks have always been good but the food has been hit or miss. The space is a little small so be mindful of you are aiming to come to work/study. There are outlets so that is a plus. The store is a little loud due to the confined space but this is a great location for anyone stopping by for a drive thru coffee. Took over the spot of another coffee shop, it is located in a pretty tight complex with limited but fast rotating parking lot. They do have drive-thru if there's no parking spaces. We ordered through their drive-thru and they had staff directly taking orders from your door. We got the Best Drink Ever with an extra shot and the coffee was delicious. Although iced, you could taste the toasty strong coffee with vanilla flavor. Could be due to the extra shot but it was flavorful. The Hazelnut Divinity was sweet and also well balanced with the coffee and the milk (I added almond milk instead). I have been out of country and also not frequented what used to be my favorite coffee shop across the 24H fitness in Peñasquitos and was sad to see the previous very original coffee shop Hawaiian theme gone. Instead a new Better Buzz. I was not impressed. I am pretty vocal about not liking coffee shop being central libraries and in this place with so very few tables I find terrible that they let people camp with their laptops occupying tables that are supposed to be for at least 2-3 people. Again, I don't get this kind of business and they all have grumpy face like don't even try to sit here with your coffee (helllooooo, this is a coffee shop). Service not friendly either and too much merch and little space unless you want to sit outside. Not cozy. read more

The coffee here is definitely a step up from Starbucks! However, the banana pudding drink had no hint of banana at all which was disappointing. And even if you adjust the sugar, it's still quite a sweet drink. If you order on mobile, I also find that they are slower. I don't know if the don't listen, assume they know what I want or need a new microphone system. I don't like Starbucks so I was happy Better Buzz was built but at this point I'll drive to coffee bean as they are accurate, fast, and have good customer service. The service is always great, and I'm obsessed with their iced Best Drink Ever with the seasonal flavored foams. The strawberry rose foam was unbelievable, but the lavender honey one... wow. I can't believe how amazing it is. The lavender flavor is definitely strong, so if you're not a fan of lavender you might want to skip it. But if you love lavender, this drink is absolutely for you.
