I don't usually review things but this has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant/fast food place. I went to this Jamba today and they took a very long time to have my order ready, this was a minor inconvenience but nothing major. However, I ordered a total of 10 things 6 drinks, two pataya bowls, and 2 Belgian waffles. This came out to 50 DOLLARS, which was insane, but this wasn't the main problem either. You see, the Jamba Juice employees were in a rush and that was clear so they packed all of my items into 2 paper bags. My home isn't even 5 minutes away, but by the time I got there and tried to carry the bags to my door one of the Jamba bags RIPPED ON THE BOTTOM AND MY 50 DOLLARS WORTH OF DRINKS SPILLED EVERYWHERE!!!!! On top of all this, they are still not answering the phone as I try to call them and ask to at least remake my order! I spent 50 DOLLARS on DRINKS! Which, mind you, isn't something I normally do, it's just that I hadn't gone to Jamba in a while because of their insanely high prices. And the ONE TIME I return it's one of the worst experiences of my life. Number of visits: It's a chain, so I've been here several times...at least 10. LOCATION: It's in the Park Western Plaza between Petco and Chipotle. It's a pretty small location. Seating is located outside the storefront. Jamba Juice is a chain, so I've been to many locations. FOOD: I've had several items here, but I can't remember at the moment which ones and how I feel about them. However, what I've been getting more often in the last couple of years have been: Strawberry Nirvana (I think that's what it's called)- I order the lighter calorie version. It's good and doesn't really make you feel that guilty. (3.5 stars) Brown Sugar Crumble Steel Cut Oatmeal: I like it because it's hearty, brown sugar isn't overly sweet and the steel cut oatmeal gives it a nutty texture. I usually ask for a small side of soy milk to go along with it because I don't like my oatmeal too thick. (3.75 stars) SERVICE: It's hit n miss. Sometimes, it's great sometimes it's bleh. NOTE: I don't know when they stopped doing this but apparently add-ins like fiber, energizer, etc are no longer complimentary. That part sucks. read more

There are a lot of Jamba Juice locations. The drinks and the service are all pretty much the same at the various locations. The thing that defines a Jamba Juice shop, at least in my mind, is if they have good outdoor seating to sit back and enjoy your drink. This is the one thing that sets this Jamba Juice apart from a lot of the others around the area. It does have a large amount of seating. This is good. There area few downsides to this location, however. Due to the fact that it is in this large strip mall, it can get very-very crowded and often times is. The other thing, in regard to seating, is that most of their chairs are over to one side of the business. As such, these seats are right in the pathway of the afternoon sun. So, if it is a warm day it can get very hot on their patio. Overall, nice enough place to grab a healthy drink. read more

I came in before work one morning to get my Caribbean passion and I figured I would get something for my two employees already at work. i called and neither of them had ever been to a Jamba Juice. So what the heck do I get them?! ME: "what fruits do you like?" THEM: " idk.... anything....?" So I asked the girl what seemed to be the most popular and she gave me two suggestions. I always get the absolute best service when I go here! The employees are always in a cheerful spirit even in tumultuous situations such as today's. After having already ordered my drink, I was waiting inside for it when a customer that was already being assisted reached over to grab lids, to which anyone who has worked food service knows this is unsanitary. The manager kindly explained to the customer this fact and that next time, she can ask and they would be more than happy to assist. The customer however hadn taken kindly to this and started to argue to the point of not making much sense. At this point the customer, unsure of what to say starts bringing up that she's helping a different customer, but that customer had already been taken care of. With no other smart remarks she could muster she then proceeded to throw the tin of spoons at the manager. You know for a site like this I don't often see people praising employees enough. So to the two ladies working this morning. I commend your use of the utmost poise and rationale during such a hectic dilemma. Someone please give these ladies a raise!! read more

These people are the slowest moving workers I've ever seen in my life! I've seen sloths move quicker than that. It's insane! We came and waited about 10 min just for someone to come up to the register just to take our order. We were first in line and everyone seemed busy doing other things so we didn't bother. A line began to form behind us as we waited. Jamba Juice is a healthier version of a smoothie, not quite as sugary and bad for you as other places. I got a pomegranate, straberry and mango one that was good. Not overky sweet. Last time I come here. I got a smoothie and a pitaya bowl. The smoothie came out and then all 4 people behind me were served before I got the bowl. I then heard the employees asking each other if they had made the bowl and no one had. 15 minutes later my smoothie was melting and I got my bowl. They were apologetic that it took so long, but the fact that it took that long and they made about 5 smoothies instead of mine is what is annoying. read more

I went in for an oatmeal and juice. No welcome to the store or even a "Be with you in a moment." You know, BASIC customer service? I waited for a while until some lady went up to the register. Barely acknowledged me. I asked for an oatmeal and she kind of rolled her eyes like she didn't know what I was talking about. I asked her "You guys don't sell oatmeal?" This jamba juice location is very disorganized. The shift leads were unaware of the products they had in stock and the team members were messing around and talking. I ordered three smoothies and each one had fruit & ice chunks that it was hard to drink. I also ordered one of their new breakfast sandwiches that they burned since they forgot to check their turbo chef. I am a manager at another Jamba Juice and they do not follow proper blender procedures, I was thoroughly disappointed. I usually Refrain from writing reviews since I work in the customer service bracket as well , but this review was pre fabricated since the first encounter with what looks to be A Manager. I myself being in management at the "down the street wireless carrier" was appalled by the current manager working there. Two weeks prior to today, I had called in to make a special request on my favorite drink , nothing too crazy , long story short I asked for a full serving of Pitaya (full packet) onto my drink and the manager rudely stated "well that's not the way we make this drink here" after I had just told him I would pay extra if that's a new policy , since I've been ordering the same drink with previous employees at this location. No worries , I said I'm sorry and maybe it was an misunderstanding. I took my drink and left , nothing serious. We all have a bad day or maybe seem to just say things in a tone that's not intended , or maybe I was being sensitive that day because I couldn't get my favorite drink, but when a customer asks for a special request and will pay extra just like adding protein or a "boost" in your drink , (no different that pitaya) and your employee has to apologize on your behalf , you know it was bad customer service . Today I placed a phone order , upon arrival I told the cashier my order and she asked if it was for David? , I said no and went about the usual, payed and moved to the side . About 3 minutes waiting around the cashier states to the employee making the smoothies "he's waiting for a phone order " so I assume it's being made . After another 3 minutes the same employee making the smoothies questions who placed a smoothie inside the freezer. The cashier's response was to point at me and say his." They got my name wrong so all along that drink was mine but they never verified. multiple orders or the same order I processed. Simple mistake right. Now at this point I simply request if I can get it re made because it's now running thin. She states it's been in the freezer , i let her know I'll pay extra or even better for them I'll just pay and get another one , things happen. Everything was being worked out but the manager jumped in thus asserting his "dominance" and said he had just made that drink when he walked to the back. I simply asked to get it remade and he decides to display primitive actions , there was no need for him to go back and fourth over what I wanted . I stated many times that I will pay extra or just get another one . He still wants to tell me that drink is to my personal desire , to the point where I said fuck this , I just need a refund . I let it be known we don't need to cause a scene over a simple request. Not until he pointed his Finger and said to me "no more phone orders for this guy." My girls usually talk me into taking them to Jamba Juice on the weekends. Unfortunately this particular strip mall is crowded on the weekends, and midday parking can be challenging. This particular location is efficient, but busy, around lunch on a Saturday your order might take 10-15 minutes. This morning I got into the most petty and ridiculous argument with an employee over agave. I order the gotcha matcha here multiple times a week and this morning an employee refused to give me extra agave when I had already paid for extra agave. Everybody makes this drink differently because they don't measure the amount of sweetener they just squeeze it in. Most of the time it's perfect and sometimes it's not and it needs a little more which is why I always pay for extra. Nobody has ever given me a hard time about it but today I got a lot of attitude immediately when I asked for a little more because it didn't taste right which I quickly returned back because I was not in the mood and her attitude was nasty. I come here a lot and I'm always nice. This specific employee is rude and needs extra training. You should be able to explain yourself without being rude from the start. Came in one night on 9/5/19 around 9:30pm with my mom. There was two people working the one with a bedazzled watermelon on her hat and a kid with semi long brown hair. Poor guy I felt bad for him he was the only one taking orders and making them. The shift-lead did not once leave the dish washing station to even start the drinks and get the guests out quickly. Mind you it was busy when we got in, there must've been 8-10 people inside. I used to work for Jamba Juice as a shift-lead and was always taught that if there is two or more guests in line open a second register or start making the drinks as they come in because they are supposed to be out in 2 mins or less. Went here for the first time in a while and Kenna helped us out. They were really busy and only had 2 people on the shift. We waited in line for a while and when it was our turn to order she was extremely polite and apologetic. She had excellent customer service and was well composed even though they were extremely busy. She ended up making our drinks which came out really good. Sometimes the drinks tend to be too watery due to low quality but her quality was exceptional. So I walk in and ordered the açaí bowl. They run out of strawberries and bananas for the toppings. So I sub pineapple chia seeds and almond butter. I then order a wheatgrass shot and Rogelio fails to tell me that they also ran out of oranges AFTER the fact I paid. Who does that?! If I would've known they were out of oranges I wouldn't have ordered my shot. Also the bowl was very watery like it was lacking ice or way too much juice. I'm very disappointed after one bite because it's just not an açaí, it was a yuck bowl. The pineapple didn't look fresh either, as it was a substitute for one of the items they ran out of. The wheatgrass shot tasted super dirty too. And mind you I used to work at Jamba Juice in 2006. My location had way better customer service than this one. Smfh. read more

After changing my order to accommodate what they had actually prepared when opening, my drink was chunky and nasty and you could taste it was old nasty kale and the drink I got my two year old son tasted like the yogurt had gone bad and he wouldn't even drink it, not to mention that drink was all melted and not even a real smoothie at that point!
