Birthday cake remix. Birthday cake ice cream with brownie chunks and fudge sauce.
Mike H.

Was listening to music at the seafood place across the way and decided to get some ice cream. Now, I haven't been to cold stone in years but I'm so glad I did. It definitely hit the spot. The young lady named Italia behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. I got the birthday cake remix without sprinkles; so good. Thank you Italia!

Husband and I came at 9:15PM and their hours are listed to be open until 9:30 both online and on the front door but they were closed. It's fine if you want to close at 9 but you should post the correct hours so people don't waste their time and gas driving here.

I came in at 9:20 pm before they close at 9:30 on 07/10 and the two girls there said they were just serving ice cream NO toppings. ( doesn't make any sense since people come in for there specialty ice creams ) they also seemed bothered they had a last min rush come in after me. Cold stones please do better.

The human have stopped here for ice cream. We've had good experiences , customer service has been good, place looks decently clean. The ice cream is good. Only 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a bit overpriced for what you get. Still recommend for your sugar cravings. 4 bones. Woof!

love it!

This is a good Cold Stone location! The worker made our ice cream fast & she was very nice. The place is clean & everything is stocked (no missing flavors)!

I've been a fan of Wanderlust ice cream since I first tried them at a Yelp Elite event back in 2016. I also really love the Sawtelle location and so I was super excited when I found out they were opening one in Torrance! Located at Rolling Hills Plaza, this spot is a great place for an afternoon treat or late night dessert. I stopped by to get my favorite Sticky Rice + Mango flavored ice cream. Walking in this place smells like heaven. I instantly loved the sweet smell the moment I walked in. I loved getting a scoop of my ice cream in their ube waffle cup. For an extra $1.50, this added an extra sweet touch. The Sticky Rice + Mango definitely hit the spot. It was so tasty and fruity. Paired with the ube waffle cup, it was the perfect summer treat. Overall, it was one sweet day visiting here and since it is still National Ice Cream month, I may just need to visit again ;).

A lot of it is Asian inspired and as an Asian American it really hits home. My favorites are the Japanese Neapolitan, mango sticky rice, and kinder. They also cycle flavors every month so we go try different flavors a lot. The store is clean and staff is very friendly. You can pretty much try all the flavors but don't get greedy cuz you won't know which one to get!

Had the Honey oatmeal black sesame latte and one of their specialty coffee drinks 2 weeks ago, both were really good. On the individual pastry/cake side there's probably 1000+ reviews saying how good they are, and I'm not going to tell you otherwise. Been coming here occasionally over the last 5 years and they have been consistently great. Their black sesame cream puff is what got me hooked. This is the best place I've been to in this area for cake type of dessert (and the drinks are pretty good), highly recommend checking it out.

I also tried a freshly made Black Sesame Cream Puff. As someone who doesn't love overly sweet desserts, this was absolutely perfect. It had just a subtle hint of sweetness, and the slightly chilled cream was incredibly refreshing. The staff were so pleasant and patient with me, too. They have such a wide variety of drinks and pastries that it took me a moment to decide, and I really appreciated that they didn't rush me. I will definitely be coming back to this hidden gem!

$4 Freezes, yes please!…read more I've frequented Bruster's Real Ice Cream a few times for their ice cream but it was the first time recently that I tried their freezes. The freeze consist of 4 scoops of their sherbet, sorbet or Italian ice along with a whole bottle of Sprite. Once in a while, Brusters will have special nights when they do $4 freezes and this was exactly how i got to try my first freeze. The freezes are quite the deal and treat for the summer. They are so refreshing and tasty. I chose to get a peach freeze and enjoyed it a lot. My friend got a black raspberry freeze and this was also quite tasty. For four scoops of a sherbet, a freeze is definitely a treat and an indulgence! I think I may have found my new favorite treat at Brusters.

There was a new flavor called pineapple upside down cake that had caught my eye so I handed him my credit card and told him to hook up the household. It's nice that you get credit toward future purchase discounts which are appreciated. I ordered a large that comes with 4 scoops. Besides the new item, I added cherry vanilla, rocky road, and butter pecan. Guess I was feeling a bit nutty. The pineapple was a little too cakey for me but I'm glad I tried it. Variety is the spice of life right? Hadn't had butter pecan in ages so that was a walk down memory lane. A Bruster's day is always a good day. Love my ice cream.

My wife and I had an enjoyable breakfast experience, tasting some unique dishes that are worth coming in for. We had a real early errand in the Lomita area, so wanted to take advantage by trying a different breakfast place. They have a really informative website, explaining the owning family's participation and how some of their food is sourced. It's a brunch place (open from 8 am to 2/3 pm, Tu-Su), so needed to wait a bit outside (street parking only, found one hour free parking right in front since coming so early). Menus are available at the front counter, and you place and pay (clover) for your order first. The food came out soon after, delivered to your table. There is a self-serve water jug in the same area as take-as-you-need take-out containers (also saw a self-serve costco-size plastic wrap box for wrapping...such a Korean thing to do). Utensils and napkins are available at the table to take for need. I really like places like this that have optimized the service experience, getting what you need without having to track someone down. Forking Around's Filipino Burrito ($18.95) - a collab with the food influencer 'Forking Around' to put into a breakfast burrito, many common ingredients from a Filipino breakfast. This includes egg, garlic fried rice as base and a vegetable lumpia with longanisa pieces, wrapped in a good flour tortilla. Sides were both a cilantro lime crema and a well made sawsawan. The sausage was not too sweet nor too red (though perhaps a bit too meatloaf-like), and the lumpia in the burrito worked for me. Korean Breakfast with bulgogi and steamed rice ($19.95) - it was served in a cast-iron skillet and the pan had been heated up greatly...super hot when served and still warm by the time we left. The flavor of the bulgogi was solid, and I loved the presentation. Taco Truck Burrito ($17.95) - korean-style al pastor pork, with pineapple and kimchi fried rice and egg. It was good....forgot to ask if the meat was really cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Came with a good chipotle salsa and lime crema. We were done in 30 minutes, from entry to exit. It wasn't too busy, so asked the front-of-house lead where the longanisa sausage and lumpia were made...she stated that it was all in-house. That's really impressive, making an ingredient from scratch that is only used in one dish. This and the elegant presentation and longevity really shows that the entire team behind bites & bashes cafe (catering) knows what they are doing.

So it's only street parking. If you need the blue placard parking, there is only 1 space behind their small building. They have Korean and Filipino inspired dishes. Ie. banana turon or ube pancakes, Filipino inspired burrito with longanisa. I chose the bulgogi plate and asked for no white rice and was offered fruit or salad in lieu of. Tasty bulgogi w/a small egg on top yet the portions are very modest. In the middle of my meal, I ordered one more item- the krak fries which were very garlicky. They go for the presentation with the floral and greens to jazz up the look. Hubby's dish was straight ahead- Bulgogi cheesesteak and fries. Also modest in portions. Iced decaf Americano in a plastic cup and OJ in a plastic cup. Kinda odd considering their price points. Some beverages are in mugs. This was more like a 2.75 stars rounded up to 3.
