Husband and I came at 9:15PM and their hours are listed to be open until 9:30 both online and on the front door but they were closed. It's fine if you want to close at 9 but you should post the correct hours so people don't waste their time and gas driving here. read more

The good: I came here for a date night and tried cinnaroll bliss (seasonal) & mud pie signature creation ice cream in a "like it" size (their smallest). The smallest size is still plenty! I like how creamy the ice cream texture was because of how they mix in the ingredients on the cold slab. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. They sell ice cream cakes as well for around $50 and up. The girl who mixed up our ice creams was really quick and efficient. I like how there are seasonal offerings. The flavors are definitely indulgent! The bad: We asked for a cone but the girl put it in a cup. She had headphones in so perhaps she didn't hear us correctly. The cinnaroll ice cream was too sweet and wasn't as cinnamony as I expected. The interesting: The mud pie signature creation has peanut butter in it. It was great. Having a policy where you only take bills twenty or smaller is completely ludicrous especially when I've never had a invoice from you under 50 dollar's. Invest in a counterfeit bill machine. (They're inexpensive). I have a feeling when Handel's Ice Cream opens in Park Plaza they won't have a problem taking larger bills...... read more

I came in at 9:20 pm before they close at 9:30 on 07/10 and the two girls there said they were just serving ice cream NO toppings. ( doesn't make any sense since people come in for there specialty ice creams ) they also seemed bothered they had a last min rush come in after me. Cold stones please do better. read more

I love this place! I come here a lot because I live near here! I always order chocolate with Oreos and marshmallows with Chocolate syrup! The service here is great! They are quick and polite! They also offer some indoor seating! Would definitely recommend this place! read more

Absolutely terrible service here, showed up at 9 when they close at 9:30 and they said they are already closed to me and multiple other people. It was the Indian teenager who was working on 11/21/25. He was also very rude about it. I told him that the sign says they close at 9:30 and he lied saying they close at 9. I even called them after I left and they confirmed that they close at 9:30 but they are "closing early". I personally saw him turn away at least 5 customers. Honestly I don't care that much about not getting ice cream but if I was his employer I would want to know how much money he is losing for me. People really need to know that it is a privilege to have a job. I did not get his name but it was the closer and he should absolutely be fired. read more

I just paid $10.00 for an 8 ounce SMALL milk shake. The Korean woman who owns this place is PRICE GOUGING. When I complained the kid told be "OH ITS THE TERRIFS: i SAID BS NOTHING you sell here has anything to do with tariffs... You make the ice cream HERE IN THE F STORE. i get it y'all close at 10 but i came in at 9:58 expecting some rocky road but im met w this worker already packing up her junk and putting stuff away. she said she couldn't serve me but the door was open n there was a huge sign on the door that said 'open.' can we pls stay true to our words. also she had attitude for no reason. ur shift ends at 10 not 9:55. she could've easily whipped up an ice cream cup for me in 2 minutes but she don't wanna work. so whoever that young girl was working at the san pedro location around 10pm tonight U NEED A TONGUE LASHING FROM UR MANAGER STAT read more

We came in on a Friday night at 9pm (1 hour before close) to get the new taco ice cream, but the girl working told us they don't make it there, despite the confirmation we received from the online menu that states they are a participating store. Whatever, we moved on to get ice cream anyways and tried to order an ice cream sandwich. "We don't have those right now" the girl stated. We were confused since they have the supplies for it, but whatever we were disappointed again and just ordered ice cream. Another guy working takes my order and proceeds to not ring me up for the ice cream. Now I was incredibly confused since we stated at the start we were paying separate and the two of us ordered separately with separate employees (in a completely empty store btw). The male employee completely walks away from the check stand and I had to remind him to ring me up. He comes back and rings me up, I laugh trying to make light of the situation, yet both employees don't even give a smile or an apology. Very weird considering I had to ask to pay for my ice cream. Maybe I should've just taken it for free since they clearly were not concerned about doing their job. At this location today at 4:45 pm May 23rd, 2024. When we arrived, 3 families were waiting outside in addition to us. The front door was locked and there was a note on the door that said, On break be back in 15 minutes. The employee arrived and unlocked the door. Only to find that there was already an employee inside, he was wearing crocks and flannel PJ bottoms. Poor service, the ice cream looked like it was melting inside the case. Flavors were cross-contaminated with other flavors. The lights were off. The employee who arrived apologized for the door being locked. The other employee who was already inside cold stone did not apologize for making their customers wait outside during business hours. We have been coming here for 14 years. Very disappointing. The owner or manager needs to check on this location. It has gone downhill it shows. I also contacted the corporate office on this matter. read more

Horrible service we first walk in at 12 o'clock right when they open and they are not ready and we couldn't even understand what they were saying because they speak China then they said wait five minutes so we waited five minutes and then we walked back in and there's a dog all over like the ice cream on the countertop and the wife is yelling very unprofessional. They were also the owners and they can't even serve ice cream so we had to wait 30 minutes for their worker to get there and then we had to wait 30 more minutes while he served ice cream to us plus I found a dog hair in my ice cream very unprofessional do not choose another cold stone choose a cold stone that doesn't have dog hair and does not take an hour to serve the reason why I'm writing this review because I want you to know the truth thank you you never go here read more

i come here a lot, but now i feel unsafe because of one of the workers there. there are no name tags, so i will give the time in which this happened: at around 6:30 pm on Saturdat August 3rd. i came here with a few of my family members, and at the checkout, two of the mentioned family members were having a conversation with one another and they were laughing. one of the workers, a man, immediately became aggressive and asked what they were laughing at. confused, they mention that they were having a private conversation that had nothing to do with him. he decides to escalate things and gets even more upset. one of the family members asked if they werent allowed to laugh. the worker claims that he is allowed to asked questions (i dont know what this is supposed to mean). then proceeds to say that he would be there until 10 pm to fight. one of the family members he was harassing to fight is a disabled veteran, so there is definitely question as to whether or not that was intentional. one of my family members asks if thats how he speaks to his customers. the other worker, a woman, was trying to de escalate the situation and told us that she would speak to him. she was very kind throughout the whole ordeal, and she even started doing the work by herself because he had to stay in the back room due to his aggressiveness. this situation was incredibly confusing, because none of us knew why he was trying to fight over them having a personal conversation. i now feel unsafe at this location. i dont know if i could come back here, especially as a woman. i dont know if he would threaten or attack me. this is a total bummer because i come here all the time, and now im afraid to. read more

I love Ice Cream, who doesn't. The experience should be much better. Workers here appear to have an attitude or maybe it's because they hire little kids to do an adult Job? I use to come alot years ago and sit outside and e joy my Ice cream, now they have removed the tables and chairs no where to sit down. Nice location but little done wright. read more

For me, Cold Stone Creamery is consistent and ALWAYS delicious regardless of the location. My qualms with the individual stores have more to do with the upkeep and the employee morale. I'm happy to report that this location had attentive and peppy employees. BUT, the store was fairly dirty, and on this 100°+ night the soda refrigerator was not working. We stayed inside based on the heat, unfortunately the table we occupied was sticky from past occupants. Go for the amazing ice cream, not the hope of eating in a clean and well maintained establishment. read more

Did I just have ice cream for lunch...DON'T JUDGE ME!!! It's a million degrees outside and the last thing I want is HOT food...so what better alternative than having ice cream for lunch!!! I've been in here SEVERAL times since my last review and I've always been impressed with the friendly employees and the cleanliness of the store. And even after all this time my favorite Creations is still "That's how I roll". Whenever I'm near this shopping area I always come for my ice cream. You just can't go wrong here. read more

Thee absolute worst service I've ever experienced at a cold stone. Came here for some evening ice cream, I get when it's a little late, no one wants to be at work and perhaps tired, but you never know who you'll encounter, so it's best to at least show some respect and be polite, at the least. Both workers didn't seem to want to be there at all so they didn't speak. I chose not to order due that alone. read more

Came in around 830pm when the business closes at 930pm. I would understand if customers tried to slide in 10 or so minutes before closing when they were trying to pack up shop but my wife and I got such attitude from the female and male employees who were working the business that evening. On top of that my wife ordered a birthday cake remix and wanted to add strawberries which we heard the male employee indicate to the female when she was ringing us up. He put zero strawberries in the order and after he had already packaged the ice cream in the cup we asked about the strawberries he hesitated and said they were out. I ordered a regular strawberry ice cream with gummy bears. There was literally 4 gummy bears which the female employee placed on top of the ice cream scoop after she put it in the cup. I felt like we were being discriminatorily treated because of the time we chose to come to the business. If I could give this ZERO stars I would!!! Overall a horrible experience. read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would I had called the place to see what time they close and the young lady I spoke to told me that they close at 10:15 I arrived at 10:05 in the doors were locked and they would not let me in the woman at this place was very rude. She stated that they were closed when she had previously told me they close at 10:15 I will never come back to this location it is such a disappointment that this generation of young kids want to leave early and do not want to work their full shift that is not how you get rewarded in life. The owner needs to hire better people that actually want to work a full day's of work to get paid and not take the easy way out. 0 stars for laziness and rudeness. read more

All I can ever think about when I think Coldstone is Aziz Ansari I'm Funny People "I gotta have it, I gotta have it, just put some ice cream in a bowl throw some shit on it and give it to me! I've gotta have it!!!" as he spins around on the stage at the comedy club like alittle ice cream crackhead. This place is close to me so if I ever get a sweet-tooth (which I often do) I can mosey on up and get a little creation to my liking of the day. I always like gummy bears and they have them so that gets a plus in my book, also chocolate sprinkles! I love the ice cream. However, I DO NOT like the no receipts. I have been cheated on my changes couldn't prove it. Management needs to revisit that!! A customer should always get a receipt with purchase. Do like the coupon stamp card! Need at least TWO employees at all times. After having a dinner, we wanted something sweet, so we decided to stop on this location which is a few blocks away from home... I like it because you'll never going to have a problem with the parking space, because is huge, the ambience is quite and the employees are really polite, and well organized, place is small, but really clean... besides, the flavor and ingredients, are endless... you don't want it to eat your ice cream inside???... no worries, they have a couple or tables outside, so you can enjoy the weather!!! read more

This ice cream is really good! Though some of the sizes may not look that big, the ice cream is very rich and filling. I highly suggest signing up for their emails because about once a month they give BOGO Free coupons. Without the coupons, it is a bit pricy. The signature coffee ice creams are very good! You can also switch toppings out. Say you don't like chocolate syrup, you can switch it for caramel. I love ice cream and love going here! read more

I felt compelled to write a review because the seasonal ice cream flavors were the best I've ever had from Wanderlust. The pain au chocolat tastes exactly like you think... a chocolate croissant. There is a crunchy, buttery flavor that I haven't experienced from other ice cream and I hope I can try it again before they rotate the flavors. I also tried a beurre de noisette flavor which was a brown butter with cookie dough. Also a delicious pick! I tried a sample of the Kyoto dark chocolate- and that was incredible. You can really taste the roasted tea flavor of hojicha and it compliments the chocolate well. We went with a trio and I had the pain au chocolat, the beurre noisette, and black sesame cookies and cream. I think the crunch in the black sesame cookies didn't shine as well and this was my least favorite flavor of the night. I love black sesame and just thought I would like it more. Happy to have Wanderlust in the South Bay. It's always a 10/10 and worth giving a try. They have flavors inspired by all different countries and I am a big fan of their ube malted crunch. Their flavors stay consistently good throughout the years. Cant wait to be more of a regular here at the Torrance location!

It's nice that you get credit toward future purchase discounts which are appreciated. I ordered a large that comes with 4 scoops. Besides the new item, I added cherry vanilla, rocky road, and butter pecan. Guess I was feeling a bit nutty. The pineapple was a little too cakey for me but I'm glad I tried it. Variety is the spice of life right? Hadn't had butter pecan in ages so that was a walk down memory lane. A Bruster's day is always a good day. Love my ice cream.

I was right, but that still may be a bit unusual in SoCal, where we all scream for ice cream all year 'round. Large parking lot was mostly empty when we arrived and only filled in slightly for other businesses by the time we left, around 3:15pm. It took a minute for us to get noticed by the one person working, who we called out to a few times. She took our orders and got to work filling them. While we waited, I did a bit of inter webs research on why Bruster's resembled the same set up as Handel's. Turned out Bruce (the man behind Bruster's) worked for Handel's and had some of his own ideas about changes to the Handel's way of operating that, let's just say, Handel's wasn't open to trying. So Bruce went his own way, building on the same concept of ice cream made fresh daily in-house, unique flavors and a walk-up window. Interesting. Also interesting was the small portion in my waffle bowl. It was meant to be Medium, 2 flavors, but it looked more like a small, 2 flavors. In addition, the 2 scoops were offset with one flavor hanging over the edge, rather than in the bowl. Wonky. Lots of room in the bowl, why was it hard to aim the scoops into it? No one was being rushed, no line forming. This is a treat. Something special. Take a beat for the presentation. Especially if you're not giving full scoops. Make that bowl look like you filled it as best you can with the small amount you're dishing out. I haven't had this experience at other Brewster's, so maybe it's just how this location is run, or maybe just the person on this day. Don't think I'll return to find out. Cheers! "CC"

The original is definitely better, but the real winner is their sauces. The red sauce is out of the world good. It's smoky and umami forward. I could use that sauce on anything. Overall, would come back and be a regular. The staff is super nice too.
