This is the best Jamba Juice in the Bay Area (and believe me, I've been to almost all of them). Friendly service and they are so quick! Before I knew it, my drink was done and my cheddar tomato twist was toasted and handed to me. The girls that work here on Saturday are so quick and my smoothie was perfect (not watery like the Rivermark location). Every location I've been to has exceptionally nice staff who don't huff and puff at my indecisiveness or questions. Plus, they notify me of any specials they currently have going on. It's been a long time since I've visited this location and usually I never really have problems. However, yesterday, I was finally in the area again and decided to get some. I absolutely LOVE jamba juice with all my heart but this location just made me so damn sad and salty. When I first walked in, it was fine. The line was short and quick. When it was my turn, I made my order and I asked for it to be thick. Simple right? Wrong. This should be no problem tho as so many other places always do it for me. The cashier even seemed nice about it. Or so I thought. No one else was behind me, so I saw that she went to make my drink herself and even gave it to me before any of the people who ordered in front of me got their drinks. I thought that was again, just her being super nice to me until I received my drink and tried it. Like I said, thick? Nope. Not at all. Not even how other jamba's normally make it. It was flat out watery. Like extremely watery. If I wanted just juice, I'd go to walmart down the plaza. I asked for this thick and she gave it to me the complete opposite. Are you kidding me? I love Jamba Juice! You can't really go wrong with the smoothies. You may not like all their drinks, but I'm sure everyone can find at least one favorite. I like this location in particular because they make their smoothies very thick, which is how I like my smoothie. Also, it's right next door to Starbucks, so my husband can get his Starbucks fix and I can get my Jamba. He isn't a fan of Jamba Juice. The only thing I don't like about this location is if you wanted to sit down outside, you are in direct sunlight. Their covers don't do much. So, we will sit for as long as possible before feeling too hot and walk around. This plaza has tons of random places you can walk into while finishing you drink. You can go look around TJmaxx or even go to a Walmart. Anyhow, can't wait to go back for another fruit smoothie! read more

I feel like all Jamba Juice places are pretty much the same. They are all set up the same with the same menu of course and same pricing. I was craving fresh fruit juice after coming back from a trip to Malaysia where they give you fresh fruit juice right when you order it. Sadly Jamba Juice defines fresh juice as coming from a container of juice that was pre-juiced who knows how long ago. After having true fresh fruit juice this does not taste fresh at all. If you've been to one Jamba Juice, you have pretty much been to them all, haven't you? I mean after all, they design it to be that way, on purpose! This one is in the popular Mercado AMC 20 Mall. Next to Starbucks, and World Wraps. What I did was go to In-N-Out for burgers and fries, but came here to get a smoothen drink with a semblance of healthy fruit to go with my grease and carbs. (It also helps increase the calorie count! Have you ever read how many calories are in a Jamba Juice? Let's just say, if you drank one every day, you will definitely GAIN weight unless you exercise at least an hour a day!) Jamba Juice keeps rearranging their menu and signage, so it is always hard to figure out what I want to order. But despite this, they still have the same basic items. You ever have one of those mornings...? You're dog and cat-sitting for friends who are out of town ... you're also allergic to dogs and cats ...... you take Benadryl in the morning before leaving for work to stop the allergic reactions ......... you are apparently so spaced out from the Benadryl that you drive right past your exit on 101 ............ when you double back, you realize you're passing a Jamba Juice ............... Light goes off in your head "Energy required!!" .................. Jamba Juice saves the day with their 3G Energizer My usual at Jamba Juice is the Fit 'n' Fruitful, which is nice and tangy, but this morning definitely required more energy, so tried the 3G Energizer, which already comes with 2 boosts, the Energy boost and the 3G Charger, but you can still add another boost, if you like. It's not quite and tangy as the Fit 'n' Fruitful, but it's definitely yummy. The only thing I don't like about it is all of the raspberry seeds. Oh, and the Low Fat Lemon Blueberry cake was pretty yummy, too *grin* Would have given this location 5 stars, except for the spacey girl behind the register who is apparently not a morning person and cannot move above a snail's pace. read more

This is my local Jamba Juice and I love it! They're fast, prompt, courteous and I had an issue once that I left feedback on Jamba Juice's website. The general manager called and left me emails like the next day asking clarification and how he can help fix the problem. The Jamba Juice corporate office sent me a formal letter of apology and sent me a free smoothie card. The manager at this location made me my regular in power size for free. - They really go above and beyond for customer satisfaction and it definitely says a lot in my book. The only reason why I didn't give this place a full 5-star rating is that: 1. The parking. - Come during lunch, dinner or weekends and you will find absolutely no parking. It makes going in and getting a smoothie a harder task than it has to be. 2. The AMC Theater next door banned drinks from this Jamba and Starbucks from being allowed in their theater. Booo! 3. Sometimes the line in this place is crazy long and it drags. Otherwise, this place is my favorite spot to get my drinks. The consistancy isn't as great as the Valley Fair location but I love this place and the workers know me by name. Definite spot to check out if you're in the area! read more

I like how this location is spacious. What I didn't like is how they made my drink. Ordered a mango drink and it tasted a little bland. That wasn't what I was worried about. I also ordered a double shot of wheat grass and I think they thought I wouldn't notice how they made it. I order wheat grass shots pretty often, so I know that you should be wearing gloves when you cut the grass then you're suppose to rinse it before throwing it in the machine. The person making my drink used his bare hands and he didn't even wash his hands before touching, considering that I'm ingesting that, that's pretty gross. I'm pretty sure that's a health violation. It's not hard and it takes two seconds to put on single use gloves, stick to policy guys. read more

Lines can get fairly long here during the lunch rush but the staff is efficient and the drinks are served up fast. Unfortunately they lost efficiency when I went to place 15 drinks for the office. They ended up giving me 20. When I tried to tell them I paid for 15, they told me to just take them and it wasn't worth the time to figure out which ones were incorrect. read more

But . . . the store seemed clean, this particular located has really high ceilings and a very open feel. But it also made it seem a little too open and cold, it's not one of the more inviting store layouts. The staff was okay but nothing amazing. Open until 9 pm ???!?!?! I love it ! This store is in Mercado, right next to the cinema. Despite the fact that this Jamba Juice gets crowded especially during the summer, I can't help but give kudos to their very friendly staff. Although I have not craved for a Peanut Butter Moo'd after 8 pm, it such a good thing to know they are open late. Not all Jamba Juice stores close this late, methinks. There're are only but a few seats/stools inside this store but there's plenty of tables outdoors. Since it's in the Mercado strip, parking would mostly be a pain when there's a box-office hit showing in the theater, during the weekends and lunch time on weekdays. Otherwise, there's plenty of parking space. Park all the way at the In N Out and walk all the way to the store - pretty healthy ! read more

The Good: Chunky strawberry topper, and the new assortment of fruit and veggie smoothies! Mostly friendly staff. The Bad: Long lines depending on when you go, or what is showing at AMC. The Review: I don't know what it is about Jamba Juice lately, but I have been hooked. I absolutely love the Chunky Strawberry Topper and I think the folks at this location have made it the best. I actually let out a moan of satisfaction after taking a spoonful of the stuff while at work. Yes I did get funny looks. No, I didn't care. I also really like the new fruit and vegetable smoothies. My favorite is orange carrot karma, but the apple and greens is on its way up my list. The best thing the staff told me about these drinks is, "you don't even taste the vegetables" thank goodness. And she was right. The staff here is usually very friendly. One dude even remembered my name. Nobody ever remembers my name. What's my name again? I think I tattooed it on my body somewhere. I was in the area and decided to stop by for a drink since it was thirsty Thursday. I got charged $6.59 for a drink that I ordered every single week; so I knew exactly the cost. I even asked the cashier if it was the price for medium or large? She told me that was medium size price. I was surprised since I just got one few days ago at different location less than $6. However, I thought that I remembered it wrong. I got my drink & left. Then I got so frustrated after I tasted my drink. It was super sour & didn't taste the same as It supposed to. So I stopped by another location near my house and ordered the same drink. It was perfect & only cost me $5.29. More than a dollar different. I felt like being ripped off by this place. They get the job done but they're not particularly friendly or anything. - They never ask me about the free boost, so don't forget to tell them if you want one. - Parking is horrible due to the theatre. - Can get mad busy sometimes. Horrible customer service! We came here on a Sunday after church around 10:30am. There were no customers. I came here with my two sisters and cousin. As we ordered, we got a call from our family to order for them as well. For a total of 8 drinks, and no customers, the wait time ended to be about 30 minutes. As we paid, we had a $100 bill for a $77 order. They told us they didn't accept $100 bill even though our change wouldn't be that drastic. So we paid with credit. There were three employees. The cashier went to make the drinks, another employee was slowly restocking/organizing oranges, and the other one just left. After 15 minutes went by, another customer came in and we still didn't hear any blending. As the third employee came back she realized the other one was struggling and asked her which drink was she working on, and the other yelled "all of them" all rudely. After they finally made our drinks, they just told us, "Next time, call in your orders to save your time and customers time." We were shocked and WE apologized for having it to be a last minute big order. They just said, "it's okay. Just next time. It'll be easier that way." They didn't even call out which drinks were which and they didn't offer any trays until we asked for one. The church was down the street... I'm not going to make that extra effort to find the number and call ahead when I can just drive there all within less than 2 minutes. They just want their job to be easy. read more

I've been to this, and other, Jamba Juice locations many, many times. In particular, this is a fantastic location to hit up when you're near the AMC theater right next door. I've even walked right into the movies with a Jamba Juice in hand, and have never received any hassles over it like other movie theaters will do when you walk in with outside food! (I'm not sure whether I simply got lucky, so I'll tell you to give it a shot at your own risk, but I will say that I've done it often enough that I don't THINK it was mere luck!) Anyway as for Jamba Juice specifically... There truly is something for everybody here. Whether you're looking for a low-calorie smoothie, a nutrtionally-balanced smoothie, or just a smoothie that tastes amazing, you'll find it at Jamba Juice. My favorite Jamba Juice in terms of taste is the Orange Dream Machine, which tastes just like a creamsicle! It's a very nice treat! The Matcha Green Tea Blast is another one that's a very good flavor. It has a certain creaminess to it that really complements the tea very well. A citrusy flavor that I like is the Strawberry Surf Rider, which tastes like a strawberry lemonade. I've also had their a few of their all-fruit smoothies, including the Pomegranate Paradise, the Mega Mango, and the Peach Perfection; they're all good, although not nearly as sweet as the smoothies that are made with ice cream! Recently, though, as I've been paying attention to calories, I've been going for their "Jamba Light" options. The Berry Fulfilling is my current favorite, although I substitute out the blueberries in favor of extra raspberries. Yum! :) I've also done the Mango Mantra, which is also good. My only gripe is just the prices, which are quite high considering that you're paying for a juice at the end. Nonetheless, it's all really quite good. Tip: Remember that you get a free boost with your Jamba Juice. Whether you want a boost of your daily vitamins, a nice energy boost to get you through the day, or a soy protein boost to rebuild muscles (among other available boosts), don't forget that you can add it free of charge! Tip #2: Google around for Jamba Juice's secret menu! This truly is a secret menu, and is spread only by word of mouth (unlike In-N-Out's so-called secret menu, which can be found plain as day on their corporate web site -- some secret!). Many of the options on Jamba Juice's secret menu are quite sweet, which I suppose is why the menu's secret (they wouldn't want to damage their reputation as a healthy option!). In particular, they have flavors patterned off of each of the gummy bears, my favorite is the White Gummy! read more

I love Jamba Juice. It's super refreshing on a hot day. I've been a customer since it started way back in the day at my college Cal Poly SLO when it was called Juice Club. But it can be expensive, oh so expensive, being that this location is so close to where I live/work. Luckily my friend sells Jamba Juice BOGO cards as a fundraiser for his h.s. track team that he coaches so I at least get 2 for the price of 1. This location isn't too crazy, even though it is right next door to Mercado. The workers are pleasant and they are fast and efficient. I normally choose strawberry flavors or sometimes the Acai smoothie, which I have grown to love since my trip to Brazil last year. Parking is of course a challenge since it is next to Mercado, but there are tons of parking behind Jamba, and there are a bunch of 10 min parking spaces that are always open near Kinkos and Tomatina. read more

Just do not try to do a jamba juice diet, if you do, you will go to the hospital.
