D5. Boba Milk Tea with Puff Cream
    Emily W.

Pretty busy on a Monday evening (Memorial Day). They didn't have boba available right away, so they asked each person if they wanted to sub for a different topping, or wait an extra 15 ish minutes. I ordered a boba milk tea with puff cream. No complaints! The puff cream was such a good addition to the milk tea. Also the large size was the only option on the kiosk - would be nice to be able to pick sizes. Plenty of parking in lot, a few tables inside but not a super big store.

This was the perfect spot to hit before a road trip to LA. I got the iced mango orange milk tea with crystal boba which was perfect for the heat. The drink looked so vibrant thanks to the orange peels. Also tasted so refreshing and sweet even at 50% sugar. I highly recommend. We ordered online to go and the service was quick. The store is cute and very clean with a few seats.

Another great location of happy lemon, next to the popular burger place St John and Costco Lawrence. Kiosk order is easy and quick. Dragon fruit with salted cheese and boba milk tea, both were great

This is 10/10 the best boba near Sunnyvale area. The classic tea is done to perfection. The one service member was nice and quick at getting things done under five minutes. The place is super trendy, yellow, and modern aesthetic. Great space outside for lots of seating.

3.5 stars 3.5 stars Was craving for boba and thought ill take my first trip to Happy Lemon. Went there at around 5pm, the place was crowded. Theres only one ordering screen inside to a queue formed (quite long) for placing order. It felt like the staff was overworked, they just did their job quietly and non stop, no time for greeting or even eye contact. There's dine tables/seats available. I places the order online for Ube milk tea with taro puff cream and boba after seeing the reviews online. It's only available in large size. I opted for zero sugar. The drink was heavy on the stomach, i could skip dinner and it was delicious. Even though I selected 0 sugar it was still sweet, perfect sweetness for me. Honestly its just bring me how one single drink costs almost 9 dollars but i still spend it!

I absolutely love their boba waffle so creative and interesting! I didn't try their milk tea though, they look mediocre

We ordered their mango jasmine tea with mango boba and original boba to share. It was great and we enjoyed the treat! :)

Avoid this location (when ordering the bubble waffles). I am a fan of Happy Lemon and they're usually consistent across the locations I've been at. Ordered a jasmine green tea with boba and the original waffles. The boba didn't have any flavor; I'm guessing they don't add honey to it, if any at all. Drink itself was standard. The bubble waffle came out cold and undercooked! Plus, there were some unknown black pieces in it? I'm not sure if it's chocolate or something, but I wouldn't trust a dish that had ingredients that don't belong? I've never had anything else in my egg puffs and it wasn't part of the filling either. Other Happy Lemon stores have always had crisp and perfectly cooked waffles. We were the only customers during this time too. Not a great experience.

We were needing some boba this week, so I decided to pick a new spot from the norm in the area and of course, Happy Lemon is a standard in our old spot so I figured, it was time to drop by. In short, pretty much in line with other Happy Lemon spot, but bummed to hear that lychee jello has been discontinued, but great service with good drinks. L O C A T I O N Happy Lemon is located in one of several plazas along Lawrence Expressway. This one is in the same plaza as St. John's and Central Computers. The parking lot is relatively small, but at the time I went, there was available parking. I N S I D E It's not a huge spot, but they do have seating inside if you want to hang out, but again not huge and it's the Happy Lemon yellow inside. M E N U Has your standard milk teas, they specialize in cheese foam as well as lemonades. Toppings are fairly standard and now super standard as they stopped selling lychee jello not to be mistaken for lychee jelly. Two very different toppings. One is more jello/pudding like so soft and easy to eat versus the lychee jelly which you do need to chew. I got a oolong milk tea with lychee jelly no sugar no ice. Pretty good pretty standard. Solid choice. S E R V I C E The person who helped me order my drink was lovely. Though unfortunately she didn't catch my change from lychee jelly to grass jelly but it's all good, I could totally understand where the communication criss crossed as I was all sad about lychee jello. Easily got my drink in a good short amount of time. Easily paid by card. O V E R A L L Good solid boba option in the area. Definitely more of a grab and go spot. Service was lovely. Drink solid. Will come back for sure as an option when I'm in the area.

Stumbled upon this location when were trying to find some boba. There was plenty of parking spaces and no wait inside the store. The menu had your standard fruit and milk teas. The did have some special items, like their fresh lemon drinks, slushies, and salted cheese series. Some drinks you could adjust the ice and sweetness. The staff was friendly and helped answer some of my questions. We got a couple of drinks, including the mango lemon slushy, and mango yakult. The slushy was a little more sour than I thought but still good. The mango yakult smoothie was definitely our favorite. Overall pretty decent drinks and good service.

    Black Tea w/ Salted Cheese
    Lloyd C.

3.5 stars. This is a nice tiny store located in the strip mall by St. John's Bar & Grill, Myzen Ramen, etc. The service was nice and friendly. Black Tea w/ Salted Cheese. (100% sweetness and ice). You are supposed to drink at a 45-degree angle, so you drink some of the Black tea and salted cheese at the same time.

Popular item D13, Brown sugar milk tea.
    Lawrence M.

It's kind of a chain. I'm not terribly impressed. I've tried the brown sugar milk tea, which was on their favorites list. It was ok, and the boba were a little hard. Their fruit teas are more signature, if you're into that. The grapefruit green tea is good. Real hunks of grapefruit, sugar, and, um tea. Ice. And a lid. Simple and refreshing. The waffles are ok. So many snack places, I guess it's hard to stand out.

    Matthew A.

Happy Lemon is always good and has a uniquely tart profile I have yet to find reproduced at any other boba shop. I really only come for the lemon drinks here. New favorite is dragonfruit lemon slushy. Boba quality was perfect and also a good amount. The ratio was perfect and boba was present to the final sip.

It sounds like a lot, but it actually works really well together. The White Champaca tea is on the mellow side, the Jasmine whipped cream adds additional floral aroma and extra creaminess, the sago gives texture without overpowering the drink, and the little bits of pecan add a nice surprise crunch. My husband's favorite is the Peach Oolong. I've had my fair share of peach milk teas over the years where they can be too sweet and the peach flavor tastes straight up like chemicals, but this has to be the best peach-flavored tea I've had so far! It has a fruity taste that doesn't overpower the flavor of the tea leaves. When I first visited last year, they had a "Fresh Oat Milk Tea Series", but I'm sad to say that it's not on this location's menu anymore. _______________________________________________________ ---A M B I A N C E -- I'm diggin' the woodsy, warm, Asian-y aesthetic they got going on! Tea and merch are displayed on the walls, and pink is definitely their signature color, so expect to see pops of it here and there in the decor, cups, and to-go bags. This location has a decent amount of chairs and tables, but let me tell you, this place was hella busy back when it was the only Bay Area location. We learned the hard way that the parking lot gets packed. Sometimes you'll get stuck in the super small lot because someone isn't even in a spot -- they just have their car parked with the hazards on while they run in to pick up their drink. Other times, cars are waiting and signaling for a parking spot while other cars are on standby waiting for people to leave after grabbing their drinks. The gas station behind the shop clearly got tired of it too because they put up a bunch of signs saying they'll tow if you park there just to visit Molly Tea. I highly recommend parking down the street near the apartment sidewalks or across the street and taking a little stroll to the store instead. Honestly, it just showed me that no matter how tiny the lot was, people still made the effort to slide through for drank. Fair warning though -- definitely expect to wait and chill. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- I will say, the staff handles the busyness pretty well. Lines are usually at or out the door, and they're receiving online orders simultaneously. There's another boba shop in the Bay that has a similar layout and process as Molly Tea, but that other chain feels like workers on an assembly line with deadpan faces. I feel like the brightness and warmth of Molly Tea is emphasized even more because of the friendly staff and their willingness to help with your order even after it's received.

Ordering is pretty straightforward on their self-service kiosks. On this particular visit, I had their White Champaca Oolong Milk Tea with less ice and 30% sugar. Somehow, they always get it just right in terms of sweetness. The best part is the "three stack straw" which really brings out the taste of the tea. Drinks were being made and served to order minute by minute, and the overall wait time was ~ 15 minutes. While the seating here is comfortable and can be relaxing, make sure to plan ahead, as the sun can be quite the nuisance at the right angles!

I kept refilling my teacup with it throughout the night. Fast forward to the actual shop experience. They had ruby milk tea-- hooray!
