I happen to think the Starbucks community board gives the place a little bit of Soul and offers the employees an opportunity to contribute some artwork. After a very large dinner and a half-hour walk around the shopping plaza, I realized I wanted coffee. I normally don't drink it so late but it was Saturday night and I had nowhere to be the next day. I was glad to learn this Starbucks stays open until 9:00 pm. Many of the stores around me close at 8:00 pm. I got there around 15 minutes before they closed and got a tall cup of Verona. Everyone was being greeted with a cheerful "have a good day," which honestly makes the visit feel better. Even though there were plenty of people inside, it still felt quiet and relaxed--not chaotic at all. Not sure why this Starbs only has 3 stars. My partner and I come here often and they are always pretty consistent. I don't drink coffee, so my go to is a hot chocolate oat milk or flavored cold oat milk. We usually do mobile order and it is convenient. Service is friendly and love that they went back to writing cute notes on cups. There is plenty of seating and if you want to stay and hang you can use glassware. There were a bunch of people waiting for their order so it took more than 5 minutes for my coffee to come out but for the amount of drinks they had backed up, I thought this was still an acceptable time frame. Super nice Starbucks in the middle of Santa Clara square. It is spacious and modern. You can find a perfect table for working, meeting with friends, sitting by the window. The staff is super friendly and cheerful. As soon as you walk in, you feel the Christmas vibe in here. I tried Flat White using 50%off discount and enjoyed it very much! Went to this location specifically for the National Coffee Day promotion offering 100 bonus stars. I ordered the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, but never received the stars. I've been here over a 100 times. The staff and facilities are a solid five. That said, the scums of the Earth come here to steal coffee and break into cars. My car was parked right across from here 8 PM when the windows were smashed and my work bag stolen. At least a quarter of all my orders (coffee and scones) were stolen. I saw a man walk in and just grab a bunch of orders and walk out without bothering looking at the names. My wife and I were at this location a few days ago and were really shocked at how we were treated. We politely asked a couple simple questions and the baristas we talked to were so rude we felt awful about the experience for quite a while afterwards. I've worked in the area for years so this place I come to a lot. First off the service is just horrible. Maybe 2 of all the employees there aren't rude and but there others aren't so much. On one occasion, I showed up to pick up my online order and unfortunately it was stolen. Instead of telling me sorry for the inconvenience, they told me it's probably cause "I took too long".. I only took 20 mins. On many other occasions, I go to pick up my drink and food and one of the 2 isn't ready but they continue to help everyone in line and wait till there isn't anyone left to make my food. SMH. This Starbucks is such a great location for studying, reading, and space for alone time. It's a big store with lots of seating and high ceilings with windows that bring in a lot of light. I spent about 30 mins inside sipping my coffee and left without smelling even a bit like coffee. I'm not sure if this is a Reserve store but the design and layout looks like one. Their early morning rushes are hectic and seem like lacking support. Who ever the general manager is all I have to say is, get your crap together. They are constantly running out of cups, and trays. I usually order several coffees for my employees and I've have had the misfortune of having to walk several trips back and forth because they ran out of trays. Besides all the crappy management, the staff are the greatest. They always greet you as you walk in and treat you very nicely. Almost all of them have a smile on and help you to the best of their abilities. There are times they even greet you by name or ask you "the usual?" Goes to show that they care about the people that come in but it seems the management doesn't care about their staff. Skip this location and go get a coffee across the bridge. One of our go to Starbucks locations. This location is in the Santa Clara plaza with the Whole Foods so parking can be a bit tight. My husband is such a regular here that the barista already know his drink and would have it ready when he came to walk up. During Covid lockdown when people had to wait outside, if they saw him park and walk up they would already have his drink in hand which I always thought was awesome. The temperature of the room was good. As the weather gets colder, I notice how some places continue to keep the A/C on too chill. This a newer store (about a year ago?) in a new apartment complex.
