I love Bambu but this location is super inconsistent. My most recent visit, I believe the owner, helped me and made my drink. Personally am not a fan of her customer service and how she makes the drinks. I got the bambu favorite, my go to, with no grass jelly. The drink itself had no sweetness and all the pandan jelly's were stuck together. I know naturally that may happen but wasn't edible as it's just a big blob vs smaller chunks. Other times, the drink taste fine sweetness level wise but it's just too inconsistent for me. Although this locations close, I'd rather go to the Sunnyvale one. read more

This location is getting really stingy with portions. Ordered The Thousand Eyes with extra grass jelly and the Summer Delight with extra lychee jellies, and both barely had enough of the extra ingredients to justify the added charge not mentioning the base price. Don't mind paying extra but getting so little is frustrating. The portioning made the whole order feel overpriced and disappointing. On top of that, the pandan jelly and red tapioca were all stuck together in one giant glob. The owner should really address this. read more

Thank you to this Bambu for hosting our field trip of our high school SPED students! They were so generous and always being patient with our students and staff. One of our students used to work there too, so being able to watch him use this opportunity to advance his skills at the register was even more amazing! Unique south Asian ingredients and flavors. On a hot day, I was surprised to see nobody inside. My first time here, so went with a recommendation and got Bambu Favorite: Red tapioca: bright, crunchy little things. Quite unique as you don't normally see this in standard boba fare Grass Jelly: an acquired taste, well, there really isn't much taste. But I grew up eating this so very fond of its comfort appeal Pandan Jelly: by process of elimination, this must be the green colored jelly strips. Yummy - except I can't really pinpoint the flavor. Great color though! In the middle of it all is a sno cone surrounded by coconut milk. It's tricky to have to stir and mix everything but they do give you both a straw and spoon to help negotiate all the ingredients. In fact, it's so loaded with goodies that I can't really say this is a drink - more like a slushy cold soup. Looking forward to the next visit perhaps to try the Fruit Addict or Summer Delight. Compared to the other locations, this Bambu provides quick and excellent customer service. I was hesitant to take a break to Bambu during work as I have always been used to the slow customer service. This joint on the other hand shocked me when our 6 drinks were made within minutes of ordering. The hours are limited compared to other boba shops, and we placed an order on the app to make sure we didn't miss the 7 pm closing time. There is $1 charge to place an order on the app, which is odd. When we got there 10 minutes later, they still had not gotten the order and mentioned their mobile orders weren't working. I like how you can add some toppings free of cost, so I got mango jelly and boba with my mango green tea. The size of the boba is a bit smaller than others, but the prices are fair. At 25% sweetness, it was the perfect sweet for me. The fresh mango in the drink was a bit too tart and sour though for me.
