Alejandro was the RUDEST PERSON! He did not make mine and my family's drink right, IM ALLERGIC TO BANANAS, and added bananas to my "peach pleasure" drink. Got here on an early Saturday evening to order two drinks. Although there are social distancing signs on the floor to keep customers 6 ft. apart, it was still very crowded. The Aloha Pineapple was alright. I say alright because there were still huge chunks of fruit that weren't blended and the ice or the frozen pineapples tasted a bit stale. I once tried Strawberry Tsunami, which they changed to Surf Rider-- too sour. They've got smoothies for those watching sugar intake (all fruit, nothing else added), creamy indulgences (chocolate moo'd, orange dreamsicle, etc.), coldbusters packed with vitamin C, fruit juices, wheatgrass shots (or at least they did), and more. I was texting to other vaccinated friends to plan a meet up for the next day while waiting for my drink. I was literally constantly tapping on my screen, which isn't a picture taking activity and better fits with texting, WHICH I WAS FUCKING DOING. 4. Showing my photo reel is very invasive. While I did show it, there's literally photos of my license and private life there. Recently deleted will also have things I'd rather not show, hence being deleted. I was pushed to show it or become a creeper. She's literally accusing me of being a creep despite no evidence because I'm a man with a phone out in 2021. Wow. Jamba Juice is one of those places I've just come to know as reliable, so much so that I've never written a review until now.... In high school, Jamba Juice was one of those places I only got as a treat since I didn't actually have a job yet and wanted to save my money for more practical things. Jamba Juice isn't really a big thing on the East Coast, so it kinda disappeared off my radar for a couple years. Nowadays, it's one of those spots I stop by when the weather is way too hot (read: it's 100 degrees this week and I'm currently hiding from the sun) and nothing but a frozen drink will do! I had never heard of the white gummy drink from their secret menu, but do love myself some white gummy bears. The white gummy drink consists of white grape, pear / peach juice blend, pineapple sherbet, soymilk, lime sherbet, orange sherbet, mangos, and raspberry sherbet. So...basically all my favorite fruits in a drink-- yup, I'll take that. It is a pretty light pink / cream color, and basically tastes like a white gummy bear. I guess if I really had to pinpoint a flavor, it would be white grape with a hint of peach. When the drink is still frozen, it doesn't taste that sweet since my tastebuds are probably less sensitive due to the cold temperature of the drink. However, once the drink does melt a bit, the sweetness is a bit too much for me (I guess I can just space it out longer?). 3.5/5 on taste. I also enjoy the strawberry surf rider drink, which is lemonade, lime sherbet, strawberries, and peaches. The sourness of the lemonade and lime balance out the fruity sweetness from the strawberry and peach to give it an overall mild taste that is refreshing and easy to drink a lot of. 3.5/5 on taste. The only "complaint" I have is that it'll run you $14+ easily for 2 basic drinks...so it is definitely not an everyday sort of spot. I guess I should be less lazy and make smoothies at home, but I can see myself stopping by every once in a while for a refreshing treat. They really should consider switching to a different non plastic brand. These ones are super cheap by design and the lids ALWAYS pop off. Today, my bf brought home smoothies for graduation and right after I put my straw in, as I was holding the lid and cup, the cup detached from the lid and spilled all over my bedroom. This is a great Jamba Juice location, it's right by a bunch of other little food spots and a Luckys in Union Landing, plenty of parking. This specific location is always super clean and they have the nicest staff I'm always greeted with all smiles and my drinks are prepared very quickly and super tasty every time! They change up there menus sometimes and even have seasonal drinks like pumpkin types right now! There's also boosts that you can add like protein or fiber which is great if you're just coming from the gym or need some extra fiber! My all time favorite is the Chocolate Mood (not on the menu anymore but they still make it!) just because I have a major sweet tooth so I prefer it but I also have tried some fuity ones and they're really delicious!
