I've had some less than stellar hygienists who have carelessly cleaned my teeth and end up poking me in the process, and then the chatty cathy who turns a teeth cleaning into a an hour long therapy session. In my experience having my teeth filled and cleaned I've been exceptionally pleased with the team at this office. I had a very eaten up molar that the Dr. basically built from scratch... saving me from a root canal! Despite their nitrous not working on the day I came in, I was able to sit through the procedure without my usual anxiety and stress. A year later and and I'm still very pleased with the results. Their office equipment is kept updated, clean, and is state-of-the-art. All the faces at the front desk are warm and friendly as well. I came to GO Sun Dental for a scheduled appointment for X-rays and fillings. They took my X-rays,…read moreand only afterward I was told that the dentist had an emergency and my fillings would not be done. Nobody contacted me beforehand to let me know. When I approached the receptionist to ask what was happening with my scheduled treatment, her reaction was shocking. She raised her voice at me, aggressively pointed her fingers at me, waved her arms, and repeatedly ordered me to leave the office. When I asked for the X-rays they had just taken, she continued yelling and telling me to leave. I was not yelling or threatening anyone. I was simply asking about my appointment and requesting my own X-rays. I found her behavior rude, aggressive, intimidating and completely inappropriate for someone dealing with patients in a healthcare setting. This was also not our family's first scheduling problem with this office. My husband previously received an appointment card, only to later be told that his appointment wasn't in their system. After this incident, I looked through other reviews and was very disturbed to see other patients describing similar experiences with rude and confrontational front-office behavior. No patient should be treated this way for asking a question about their care. I have submitted a written complaint to the practice and am filing a grievance with my dental insurance company. I will not return. Please read the other negative reviews concerning the front office before choosing this practice.

"Well I can see what I can do but I hope you know you are going to be charged!!!!" I understand that it was my fault for being late but to be treated and spoken to like a child and threatened to be charged for making an honest mistake is not superior customer service. My husband went in a few weeks ago for a cavity and was told he needed a crown. When she told him about the crown he tried to explain that he could not afford that, but she try to patch the tooth in the meanwhile. She refused and continued to be very rude to him, so he stood up and left. Additionally, he said that it took about 30 minutes or more for the dental assistant to take his x-rays, something that should be able to be accomplished in just a few minutes, because she kept messing up with the antiquated equipment. My husband's appointment had nothing to do with me,I've been seen once before and while my experience was not like my husband's, I did note that the same Dr. was rude. I called the other day to make an appointment for myself and was told that both my husband and myself were no longer welcome there as patients and that a letter had been sent a "year ago" of such, which we never received. While I was trying to understand what was happening, with a tooth ache, and explaining I had never been rude to anyone there ever and why was I being kicked out for nothing. The staff, the office manager and the Dr immediately started yelling at me and when I expressed that they were being rude to me, they hung up on me. As a side note, all of their equipment is antiquated and takes a long time to use and warm up. I do not recommend this dentist to anyone.
