We love coming out here! Especially when family is in town and we want the kids to get out some energy! The splash park is such an added bonus for those hot Florida days!! Make sure to bring big pieces of cardboard for the kids to slide down the hill! So random-but so much fun!! read more

Went to the Holland Park to check out the Water Splash area. Found that it was under repair, however, decided to see what other activities to be had. Even though it was a super hot day, the mini line was a hit. Music could be played on a giant, brightly colored xylophone. We sat in the shade on one of eight porch like swings and enjoyed the scenery. We'll probably go back once the Splash pool is up and running. Kids of all ages could have fun too. Oh yeah, there are covered picnic areas for gatherings! Enjoy! read more

WOW!! I want to be a kid again!!! This park was so awesome that it has me contemplating whether we should move to palm coast from Orlando!! Like what!! That's a big statement! This playground was amazing for our toddler. So spacious, the ground is made of soft rubber so he could run and if he fell he would be fine. There were so many different parts to the playground that we didn't get to explore it all. There were large tunnels that even I went through. There was a "hill" with cardboard boxes near by for kids to slide down on (genius!)! And tons of benches and covered picnic tables for breaks. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. Honestly this has been the best playground I've seen in the whole state!! You must must go! Oh and pro tip- get yourself some Portuguese chicken from Palm Coast Grill, just down the road, and bring it here tk eat while the kiddos play! read more

Great park, soft synthetic grass so no dirt on little toes. Gated, many playgrounds, swings and things to climb and finally a large water splash area to play! For the older kids there is also some baseball, soccer area and another bit grassy lot to play frisbee or have picnic and whatnot read more

This park was a nice little find! JH park has a zip line, climbing nets, rock climbing, spinners, slides, swings, plenty of benches and most importantly a COVERED picnic area for when you need to seek refuge from this ridiculous Florida sun. There's also scooter and stroller-friendly paved pathways. Near the entrance, you'll also find free air pumps for your bike tires. I also really like that there's artificial turf around the play areas. Overall, the park just seemed very thoughtfully planned out and well-maintained. We didn't have our pup with us but we will be back to check out the dog park area next time. read more

Absolutely fantastic! I drove down here with my daughter from St. Augustine for a few hours and we loved it! There is so much to do here including two splash pads. The climbing apparatuses and other park like toys were great for all ages. The park is big so even with a lot of people it didn't feel crowded. I felt very safe there, which is huge for me. We stopped here before driving home to Maryland. We wanted to wear the kids out before the long drive home. This is one of the best playgrounds we've been to. The kids enjoyed all the things available to play on and liked that they could climb around. We left feeling like they wore themselves out enough to give us a few quiet hours in the car before the fighting begins. read more

We just bought a house in Palm Coast and were excited to see they had a fenced dog park at this location. Unfortunately this park is a dusty muddy mess with almost as much space fenced off and inaccessible around the center pond as in the actual dog park roaming area. The slightly smaller area for dogs under 25 pounds is much better maintained with plenty of grass and far less exposed dirt. There just has to be a better way to maintain this dog park. Every time we leave, we have to throw our shoes into the washing machine because they are coated in dirt. read more

Palm Coast is blessed with many nice parks. James Holland Memorial Park is one of the best. It even offers a zip-line in the kids section! The large, fenced in children's play area is guarded by 2 concrete alligators that may or may not come to life occasionally. They flank a pretend river in the pretend grass which is actually the same green or white super padded sponge stuff that covers the entire play area. It's great! My grandson loves the zip-line as well as all the cool climbing challenges, slides, music making toys, places to "hide"(but not really since parents & grandparents can easily see their kids in this wide open lay out) and the rock wall that looks like modern art. Outside of the kids are our park has a sand volleyball ball court, nice basketball courts & ball fields. This is one of the nicest dog parks we have ever visited. The nicest people! Both large grassy areas are clean. The area for larger dogs (39lbs and up) boast a pond and a large gazebo complete with picnic tables. Naturally both areas have poo bags, hoses and are double gated for the safety of all our 4 legged kids. James Holland Memorial Park has ample picnic areas, potties, parking and friendly people. The park is overall amazing! There's a dog park split between small and large dogs, great design! And then there's the playground- the largest i have ever seen! There's a hill kids use as a slide with cardboard boxes, many activities, and even a zip line! The reason I am only doing 3 stars is the water park, it started out great! But than it closed down! I came back every day for 7 months and it's still shut down! Come get some builders to fix it already! read more

I travel quite a bit all over the country with my Frenchie Niko and this park is by far one of the cleanest ones that I have ever come across. You can pretty much walk barefoot & not worry about stepping on something! lol The people that I met at the park were super friendly and caring about keeping the dog park clean. The park is separated into a big dog area with a beautiful pond with a fountain and a smaller area for the dogs under 30 pounds. I would return in a heartbeat! read more
