    One of the many playgrounds

Great park, soft synthetic grass so no dirt on little toes. Gated, many playgrounds, swings and things to climb and finally a large water splash area to play! For the older kids there is also some baseball, soccer area and another bit grassy lot to play frisbee or have picnic and whatnot

Zip line, rock climbing slides, swings, paved pathways for scooters and strollers

This park was a nice little find! JH park has a zip line, climbing nets, rock climbing, spinners, slides, swings, plenty of benches and most importantly a COVERED picnic area for when you need to seek refuge from this ridiculous Florida sun. There's also scooter and stroller-friendly paved pathways. Near the entrance, you'll also find free air pumps for your bike tires. I also really like that there's artificial turf around the play areas. Overall, the park just seemed very thoughtfully planned out and well-maintained. We didn't have our pup with us but we will be back to check out the dog park area next time.

Absolutely fantastic! I drove down here with my daughter from St. Augustine for a few hours and we loved it! There is so much to do here including two splash pads. The climbing apparatuses and other park like toys were great for all ages. The park is big so even with a lot of people it didn't feel crowded. I felt very safe there, which is huge for me. I was very impressed with how clean everything was. We will be making many trips back here

We stopped here before driving home to Maryland. We wanted to wear the kids out before the long drive home. This is one of the best playgrounds we've been to. The kids enjoyed all the things available to play on and liked that they could climb around. We left feeling like they wore themselves out enough to give us a few quiet hours in the car before the fighting begins.

    Two full size basketball courts

This is an amazing park! Something for all ages!! Walkable from our airbnb writers cottage! A true treat and very well maintained! Picnic benches covered for enjoying lunch, two dog parks, two full size basketball courts, boccee ball, huge amazing splash pad, ropes to climb, tunnels to discover, swings, double swings, baby swings, zip line, bike repair station...they thought of everything!

Palm Coast is blessed with many nice parks. James Holland Memorial Park is one of the best. It even offers a zip-line in the kids section! The large, fenced in children's play area is guarded by 2 concrete alligators that may or may not come to life occasionally. They flank a pretend river in the pretend grass which is actually the same green or white super padded sponge stuff that covers the entire play area. It's great! My grandson loves the zip-line as well as all the cool climbing challenges, slides, music making toys, places to "hide"(but not really since parents & grandparents can easily see their kids in this wide open lay out) and the rock wall that looks like modern art. Outside of the kids are our park has a sand volleyball ball court, nice basketball courts & ball fields. This is one of the nicest dog parks we have ever visited. The nicest people! Both large grassy areas are clean. The area for larger dogs (39lbs and up) boast a pond and a large gazebo complete with picnic tables. Naturally both areas have poo bags, hoses and are double gated for the safety of all our 4 legged kids. James Holland Memorial Park has ample picnic areas, potties, parking and friendly people. Come on over y'all!

Was very disappointed that the Splash Pad was still not ready and the Zipline was broken. Hopefully it'll be fixed..soon.

4 reasons to come to this park. ***NEW INFORMATION***…read more There isn't any fee for everything I'm mentioning EXCEPT the front part of the off beach parking area ****** 1st is MY reason: I go here because it has 2 fenced in HUGH dog play areas. My girls go into the small dog play area while yes, big dogs go in the other one. Each play area has benches, water and poop bags in different areas of the park. (Some people leave balls there also otherwise, you bring your own) I walk the perimeter while the girls run after me and the other dogs. My 2 rescues "mother/daughter" duo are still puppies, full of muscle and need to run for their exercise. (for me to rest because they are a handful) 2nd: There is A children's play area. I know they have swings slides picnic benches but I'm not sure what else because I don't have a child to go there. I hear all of the children laughing, having fun so I'm sure it's pretty nice. 3rd: They also have back to back courts for... I know one is basketball, the other one may be pickleball? Not quite sure but again I see lots of people playing on the courts even if I'm not paying attention to them 4th: Which is most likely you wanted 1st is the large parking area across from the beach As you first drive into the park, there is a huge off beach parking area where You can (of course) park and walk right across to the beach. * BE AWARE, It is no longer "free" parking (just like ALL the parking areas in Volusia county) **The parking areas are free for local residents as long as you register with your car license plate and proof that you are indeed a resident here. ***I don't know what the policy is, you will have to look it up in The Volusia County rules I do know it's $20 a day parking (and all the parking areas now) BUT, I do know it is a great park with something to do for all AS for pictures, I will put them up when I go again BUT, here is a shot of my cute ladies and something strange that someone put up. Stick figures that I don't know their meaning

Great park on the highway! Ample parking spots (more than 1 lot). Clean bathrooms by the beach as…read morewell as by the playground & fields. Nice large & small dog off-leash fenced areas. Worth a stop!
