I thought this was great cause it's about 2 miles to walk the whole thing and we had kids with us that would have a fit with that much walking. You can stop at multiple areas on the drive in and we walked a short way to the suspension bridge and to the bottom, SO pretty down there! A lake/ spring is at the bottom, with lots of vegetation just a beautiful area! Nice bathrooms are also available around!

The cost is $5.00 per car. We enjoyed the two hanging bridges , paved pathways, small stream at bottom of ravine...one thing the old, steep rock steps need rails to hold onto! Let it be a Scouts of America project or Garden Club....some organization if the state won't pay. I believe it is a safety hazard. Palatka has a real asset with this park!

As a person who has travelled extensively and been coming to this area since I was a child, I have to say you can't find a better beach in the US. Big waves, cool shells, plenty of sea life and land animals, not crowded, the smell of salty sea air, the cool breeze, and that sunrise....you can't go wrong here. Love it and always hate leaving it. But I will always return.

A little confusing that this is listed both on Yelp and on Apple Maps as "Saint Augustine Beach…read morePier" because the sign at the location says "The St. John's County Ocean & Fishing Pier." It's $2 to walk out on the pier ("Sightseeing", per the sign) but it's worth it. It's a beautiful view! Today was incredibly windy - so bad that I had trouble holding my binoculars in place while looking for birds. But I was able to log 9 bird species while there, just watching them fly by and/or on the beach. There are benches for sitting, but they did have the end of the pier blocked off. See other reviewers for speculation on why. There's also a pretty popular Farmer's Market that sets up every Wednesday in the parking lot in front of the pier. It's popular enough that we witnessed traffic bottleneck there, so be mindful of that.

My dog doesn't like being approached randomly by dogs so being around off leashed dogs is always a risk. We do extensive research when going to beaches for her since she loves digging and swimming. Overall it was a very clean beach and we love how spread out it was for our reactive dog. It is on the the top list of dog beaches for us to visit!

Again, this is a small park, but it is extremely pleasant and since it is located on a quiet side street, I don't think that it gets a lot of visitors. There is a small children's play and a pavilion with a few picnic tables and a small grill. There is a small parking lot and benches spread throughout the property. The trees offer a nice amount of shade on the property. All in all, this is a great little park. I definitely enjoyed stumbling across this park. While it does not offer the amenities as some larger parks, it is a great park in its own right. I will give this park five stars.

Graham Swamp is about a 7 mile trail network, which in my opinion is well suited for intermediate…read moreand higher skilled riders. This trail is pretty technical in some parts and if you are not careful, you can seriously injure yourself. I have heard all of the stories. It is certainly not suited for beginners. This trail is rated as Intermediate to Difficult.   As for me, Graham Swamp is a super fun, challenging trail. It is well marked so you do not lose your way around. And for those that loves to hike, well it also has its own separate trails for hikers. Graham Swamp is certainly one of the favorite places amongst mountain biking enthusiasts. This trail proves that Florida is not flat as people think. You will encounter different elevation changes and it offers lots of climbs and descents. Some parts are twisty and flowy as well. One loop ride around Graham Swamp is enough to gas you.   And once you make your way towards the exit, you will encounter the Vertical wooden down ramps, which in my opinion, is the feature of Graham Swamp. One wooden down ramp is steeper which makes for a fast descent, while the other wooden down ramp eventually leads down and into a nice dirt jump.   One best part about Graham Swamp is the park is well maintained, and majority of the trail is in the shade, which helps block off the heat from the sun, so the trails stays pretty cool throughout your ride.   Happy Trails To You =)
