    Jamie's super fabulous "bougie" cupcakes
    Jenn C.

This is a long review (story) so hang with me, or just see the 5 stars & go order your CUSTOM & FABULOUSLY DELICIOUS CUPCAKES!! I found this business on Facebook & scrolled through the many STUNNING cupcake pictures & fell in love! I reached out to Jamie who answered right away & was super sweet!!! My daughter just celebrated her birthday & I ordered a dozen, $28. I told Jamie I trusted her to make the fun & festive with a neutral (black, white, gray) color palette. She jumpped on it & we figured out a date/time to meet up... I live in Gwinnett & she is up in Dahlonega, GA. We met up, she was SO nice, I met her husband & we did our exchange.... from the box these looked so great & I couldn't wait to get them home, but had to wait a day to actually enjoy them... the anticipation killed me! Finally the day came & while the kids went out I got to set up the cupcakes. They were in the fridge overnight & I was a little concerned they would have dried out a little... they did NOT dry out, infact they were the PERFECT consistency, not over sweet, SUPER moist & light/fluffy!! Icing was not only BEAUTIFUL & "Bougie" (one friend called it), but it too was PERFECT & I am an icing kind-a girl!! You guys, I am sort of addicted now & need to find another occassion to celebrate so I can get more! Jamie is so creative, nice & makes an actually good tasting product... does get much better. So everyone go get your bougie cupcakes & tell Jamie I said hello!!! I hope to see ya again soon!!!!! Thanks for helping make our daughters day even more special!!!

Our delicious white chocolate raspberry cake! Turned out exactly as we hoped!

You can find Wolf Mountain Vineyards at 180 Wolf Mountain Trl Dahlonega, GA 30533. This was about…read more10-15 minutes from campus (downtown Dahlonega) I attended a wedding of my friends Katherine and Chris at the winery - honestly I didn't taste any of the wine (yes I know, bad) but enjoyed myself. The venue is pretty spectacular with great views of the surrounding hills and valleys along with the vineyards as the hang of the side of the mountain. There were two aspects that pushed my opinion down a bit, neither are really the fault of the venue or business so I've stayed with the 5-stars. The wedding was held in an outdoor pavilion with great views, but during the first week of August quite hot. There are ceiling fans but they didn't help too much - I was sweltering in my jacket and tie by the time the ceremony ended (just be aware if you book something here during the hot season). The second, there are a lot of stairs as you are on the side of a mountain. If you have a hard time traversing a lot of stairs, there are other means of getting around so once again be aware. The main "hall" has windows with fantastic views. I thought the food was exceptional and wish I had taken more photos, but there were a lot of poor lighting (I was seated next to the dance area). My apologies for the missing check in and the lack of photos but I didn't want to be obnoxious at a wedding. Overall I love the rustic charm of this place and plan to return and more fully explore the wine offerings. I thought the service was exceptional with very accommodating staff, especially the bartenders.

We parked at the bottom of the venue and had to climb the stairs to the top. If you're lucky, you might catch a ride in the golf cart, but if you're seated in the back, hold on tight because it's a steep ride! We came for the Sunday brunch buffet, which features a different theme each month and never disappoints. If brunch isn't your thing, you can enjoy a wine tasting in the tasting room located below the main dining area. If you're there for brunch, you're also allowed to go back and forth between the tasting room and dining room during your allotted table time. I definitely recommend visiting any time of year; the views alone are worth the trip!

There are even an assortment of British hats that one can wear to up their game. Our party of 4 were the last guests seated at 1:30 on Sunday. We were nicely greeted and directed to our table. A family of 4 (with two children ages 6 to 9) were finishing up across from us. What a great place to bring children when they are well behaved and ready for this type of food service. Two members of our party helped guide us through the tea and food offerings. They mentioned that in the past the roast beef sandwichs were delicious. However, not on the offerings we received. There were plenty of items to choose from however. The curry chicken salad and cucumber cream sandwiches were my favorite. The teas were both caffeinated and decaf. Fresh tea is delivered upon request or if the brewed leaves sat too long. The hi tea was finished with a tasty cup of ice cream from a 15th century recipe. It was different and outstanding. Leftovers can be boxed and taken. Sandwiches should be kept cold however for food safety. When we left our party headed over to the sister store to purchase some tea and accessories.

It will not disappoint if you can get through the front door, which is cluttered like a hoarders house. Once we walk through the tiny path between all the "antique gems", a deep awakening in our spirits happened. A spine, chilling moment. Something you would see on 60 minutes episode before a person was kidnapped. Suddenly a man from the back yelled out " you want a shot or a hot chocolate?". With fear and trepidation, we said no and he asked us if he scared us... we said "yes". We knew we had to get out of there fast. As we were trying to "escape", I saw a cat and tried to soften the awkwardness and talk to an older lady about the cat. Just as I did that, the older lady started yelling out. "They're not gonna buy anything, Jack! Why are they here if they don't wanna buy anything? They don't like our store? They should leave!!" He agreed and so did we! This has been the weirdest shopping experience of my life.
