Stopped in before a show for a late breakfast early lunch. Ambiance is bright and airy, restaurant was on the smaller side. Prices were high, but it is comprobable to the area and given that this spot caters most to tourists staying at the hotel. Service was good and food was also tasty.

The Pizzas are quite good. They don't skimp on the toppings. They are made fresh in their pizza oven. Really liked the Peppe pizza with wild mushrooms. The light drizzle of honey really elevated the flavors. Service was friendly and fast.

We had a phenomenal experience at Jane Q! Made a reservation for a Monday evening (yes, they're actually open Monday evenings despite the hours on Google/Yelp)! Call them! Great for large groups. We had the place all to ourselves at this time and the staff went above and beyond to serve us! They were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a rosé and a white wine, both very good. My favorite was the wine of the month from OPP by sommelier André Mack. Then we split several entrees: Pepp Pizza, Heirloom Garden Pizza, Cacio e Pepe Gnocchi, Bucatini All' Carbonara, Mixed Greens Salad, Caesar Salad, and my favorite - the Stracciatella!! Despite being a steep price for bread ($19), the Stracciatella is a dish I will crave for years to come!!! It is a fluffy soft and buttery bread with a perfectly salty mozzarella dip. I could've just ordered this and been more than content!! The pastas were also really good - perfectly al dente. The Carbonara was my favorite with cheesy thick cut noodles and chunks of pecorino. I only got to try one of the pizzas and it was fresh with a good flavor and a crispy crust, but if I had to pick I would go with pasta over pizza here. The mixed green salad was delicious with a sour kick from the vinaigrette. The Caesar was pretty standard but with freshly toasted bread instead of normal croutons. Every part of the meal felt like it was made with care and we had a great time!! Upstairs there is another bar with a lot of lounge seating and pool tables as well as restrooms. We parked in a nearby parking garage which was convenient. Try Jane Q the next time you're in Hollywood!!! Would be a fun event venue as well. Thank you all!

We had a limited amount of time (little over an hour) to get something to eat before a pantages show. This place was conveniently located within a 5 min walk to the theater and their menu looked enticing. It's quite large, probably due to its attachment to the hotel. But seemed like there was a second floor seating. Walking in from the street (argyle), it felt awkward since there wasn't a clearly designated area to check in. We waited by the end of a counter where a menu was located. After a few minutes, a waiter noticed us and asked if we were ordering to go. So even now, I'm not sure if we walked in through the right door but he was able to sit us at a table. It was pretty empty in this hotel restaurant. The menu we had been looking at earlier was for breakfast/lunch. Honestly, it looked more appealing to me then the dinner options. The staff was friendly and even the chef checked in on us. I appreciated when they acknowledged that our meals were taking a while to come out. I thought the prices were a bit up there. For example, the one rosè wine glass was $19. The pizza was hand-made and my partner enjoyed the charred flavor. My shrimp pasta was good but $29 seemed a bit steep. I personally would have preferred less pepper and more sauce. I'll probably come back to try the brunch menu- the Benedictine shrimp & grits caught my eye.

Wow! Love the Kimpton Everly as our "go-to" for concert trips to L.A. and YES the breakfast at the hotel makes it SO worth staying put for your morning meal. Charming decor, open and bright space. Service was amazing - Gina was on the spot with wonderful attention to the details and thoughtful recommendations outshone only by her smile. Haniq was a wonderful support whenever we needed the littlest thing and Gina was working hard for the busy crowd. Props too for true manager who welcomed us - demonstrating solid multi-tasking talent! To paraphrase General MacArthur - WE WILL BE BACK!

A great casual place to eat before seeing a play at the Pantages. The menu for dinner had a good selection of pastas, pizza and salads. There is lots of seating and a long family-style table. We had the bianco pizza pie and pomodoro pasta ... it was excellent! We took our wine upstairs to finish in the lobby of the Kimpton Hotel. They also serve Lamill coffee. We'll definitely be back.

I have been a Jane Q customer since their opening and I hadn't been into eat there in quite sometime. Over the years and through the pandemic with the change over I think the restaurant lost their way but Wow! I went in tonight just for convenience and had their shrimp bucatini....Jane Q is back!! The chefs are nailing it. As soon as the server set the dish in front of me I knew - this is going to taste delicious. Glad to have them back!

Jane Q who are you?! Inside the Kimpton Everly Hotel. 2 storied high ceiling with a sized matched front window made this open space a nice wake up welcoming every morning! Delicious breakfast daily ~ well thought out menu made every item interesting and curious to try. Everything tasted so good! Not just fanciful description in the menu but simple food cooked simply well. Enjoyed the morning smilely service despite drowning in the tidal wave of guests. Poised & professional. Not often see this in a hotel restaurant. This is a spotlight for the Kimpton hotel.

This is a great hang out location. It's so spacious upstairs and they have so many areas to sit. I enjoyed the atmosphere it's such a cool vibe. They have live music, some games, and a pool table for entertainment. They have good food ( a little pricey 30 dollars for Macha (not a fan of this one) , meatballs, and breadsticks) The service was fast but they didn't really clear off upstairs tables. 8.5/10

Inside the Kimpton Everly Hotel, but with a street entrance separate from the hotel entrance so if you are not staying at the hotel, you do not have to walk through the hotel to get there. We came for lunch. I got the chicken sandwich and an iced matcha. The chicken sandwich was yummy, but small, especially for the cost. The iced matcha was good. My friend got the pizza which she said was good. Cute space and well lit. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch. Not a bad spot to go before the Pantages theater if you are in the area, though it is a little bit of a walk. Prices to be expected given it's in a hotel and in Hollywood, but will likely keep me from coming back frequently. Would return though with that in mind. Worth checking out.

We had the opportunity to eat here twice since we were staying at the Kimpton. The first day we tried their lunch menu, we had the pepperoni and the margherita pizza and they were ok. My kids enjoyed them, but I wasn't very impressed, so I ended up ordering a greens salad and that was better than expected. Simple but tasty. The second day, we tried their breakfast menu, my kids had the New York bagel and I had the avocado toast and coffee, that was delicious! We had the same waiter both days and he was amazing! This is a great idea if you don't want to go any further.

I stopped there for a cup of drink before watching Hamilton in the theatre. The sunset cast a layer of beautiful golden light to the second floor. I was a bit undecided about which drink to order and then the bar tender offered to make me one. It's refreshing!

We were pleasantly surprised by this lovely gem of a restaurant. Great location for a theater night. One block from Pantages theater with good Italian food. Small menu but many good options. Fresh pastas. Salads and pizzas. Small dining area that can be a bit too bright at sunset with the sun beating in and a tad loud from the hotel lobby bar above. But that didn't ruin the evening. Server was lovely and we enjoyed everything we tried.

There's no waiting and the food is good

Ask the Community - Jane Q

Is there a parking lot?

No, the only onsite parking is valet and it is not included in the room rate. There are public parking areas nearby that you can use then walk to Jane Q.

Will the restaurant be opened on Christmas Day?

Usually is.

Are dogs allowed?

The Kimpton allows dogs with open arms, Jane q is a restaurant; health code rules still apply, but obviously honor pups with "service" credentials:)

It's really pretty on the rooftop plus has a fun vibe with a few wax figures around! Will Smith, James Dean, The Rock, Zendaya, Marilyn Monroe...a bunch of A Listers to dine around! lol! The staff was all so nice and kind here! I was actually really surprised to find such amazing staff at such a tourist type of spot. They were all just so great!!! The other clientele seemed to be coworkers there for happy hour, tourists popping by, then my friend and I! It was a good mix of people hanging out up there. I really liked the vibes. We went during happy hour which had a bunch of drink specials. I had a Mocktail which wasn't on the HH menu but it was so gorgeous and tasty! The Zombie ($12) had Grapefruit, lime juice, black iced tea, tiger's blood and was wonderful. I really appreciate when places put effort into their NA drinks. Also on the HH menu were a few food options and my friend had a $4 Steak Taco which he was happy with. I had the Box Office burger which was incredibly indulgent with A Cajun-spiced patty, balsamic onions, bacon jam, arugula and garlic aioli on a pretzel bun. Plus, they bring a little pan of melted blue cheese which they will pour tableside onto the burger for you. Cute! And I loved the burger. There were also seats at the bar but not enough for our group size. We came in for drinks and food before heading over to TCL Chinese Theatre. We ordered a few drinks and some shareables. The French martini was delicious- it had raspberry liqueur, pineapple juice and vodka. Very refreshing. The wild mushroom tagliatelle was phenomenal the pasta was just right and oh those delicate but powerful herbs, divine! The Japanese sweet potatos were so tender, the sauce that was one them was so yummy, I loved it. The steak & frites were scrumptious, steak was perfectly medium rare and fries were classic. The charcuterie board was so good we got the 3 cheese and 2 meats, everyone enjoyed it. The fresh baguette was crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside, only thing that could have made it better was a little balsamic. Overall wonderfully surprised by the lobby bar on a Tuesday night.

With dishes from Shirley Brasserie available all day, it's the perfect spot to enjoy everything from light bites to seasonal plates, surrounded by the warmth of the historic fireplace and the charm of this iconic setting." -- from The Roosevelt Hotel's website. Shirley Brasserie, the restaurant referred to above, is also located in The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (located next to The Lobby). The "iconic" they refer to is the fact that this hotel is historic -- it was built in 1926 during the Golden Era of Los Angeles architecture. It is named after Theodore Roosevelt. The first Academy Awards (Oscars) was held here in 1929. The hotel had its ups and downs since then but currently it looks beautiful and thriving. Take your out-of-state visiting friends/relatives to this place. Because this is a big part of "Hollywood". I recommend The Lobby to hang out after a long day's work or after a nice dinner nearby. This is where my sister and I went after our dinner at Musso and Frank. My sister ordered their Espresso Martini which was really good. I had a beer. Our server wasn't as warm as the ones during my visit in 2023. I think she was an introvert or a bit of a nervous person. But she did not seem potentially horrible. Restroom: I did not go to the restroom this time. I think there was a line. But I remember back in 2023 that you had to ask for a key or a code. Which is understandable for this area. Parking: I recommend the valet parking. If validated, the fee is really reasonable (I forgot how much they charged). We got ours validated because we ordered those drinks from The Lobby.

He went above and beyond, helping clear tables, bringing us water, and making sure guests were taken care of while the restaurant was clearly stretched thin. After being seated, we waited quite a while for our server. I eventually noticed what I believe was a manager stop by our table to check on us and ask if we had any questions. Since we had been ready to order for some time, I asked if we could simply place our order with her. She was delightful, helpful, and very accommodating. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, breakfast potatoes, dinosaur kale salad, chicken sandwich, and burger. Everything was flavorful and delicious, but the burger was definitely my favorite. Combined with the beautiful weather and atmosphere, it made for a very enjoyable brunch. The biggest downside was the service speed. Our waiter was incredibly kind, but because the restaurant appeared to be understaffed, he was rarely able to stop by. There were long waits between ordering, receiving food, and getting assistance throughout the meal. It never felt like poor service from the staff themselves--it felt more like a staffing issue. towards the end, I had to remind the waiter that we were celebrating a birthday (it was in my notes, and two people in person were also told, but the waiter maybe forgot). When the tab came, I had to remind the waiter that I had already provided payment at the time of arrival. The delays continued when we were leaving. We needed parking validation and waited about 5-10 minutes because the host had stepped away and there was no one else available to assist. By the time we left, parking had cost us $33 for roughly 2.5 hours. Overall, the food, atmosphere, host, and manager were excellent, and the staff who were there worked hard under difficult circumstances. Had staffing been planned a little better, I suspect this would have been an easy 5-star experience and our visit would have taken closer to an hour or hour and a half instead of stretching much longer. Hopefully management addresses the staffing challenges, because the restaurant itself is definitely worth visiting.
