It was SUCH a disappointment. Seriously. The food looked like it had great potential but the service, the price, and the cleanliness was just AWFUL. I would go anywhere else. That entire area is littered with brunch places so I suggest walking around and following your nose instead of this misleading Yelp rating. I'll get to the point: our waiter was awful. He was very nice but just awful. We were seated after about 15 minutes of waiting, which is fine (it was for brunch on a Sunday) and then once we were seated we waited another 10-15 minutes until he came to us. Then, when he did, he sort of just stood a couple feet from our table with his notepad in hand while distractedly looking around. Finally I asked him, "are you here to take our order?" He just said, "uh, yeah." So first I asked for some water and then what they had for drinks (since it wasn't listed on the menu). He just laughed and said "well, what do you want to drink?" And before I could answer he just started spouting of drinks in no particular order, jumping from coffees to alcohol to teas .. and then offered to bring all of the tea bags for me to choose from. Seriously? I just said I'd stick with the water because it made me nervous. He finally brought our waters and my SO's coffee. The coffee was a mess. I really should have taken a picture because it was actually funny how messy it was. There was a pool of coffee on the little plate that the cup came on and coffee dripping down the sides of the cup. It looked as if he ran to our table with the coffee taped to his head ... I felt like there was no possible way this could have happened just from the 20 steps it took to get to us. Then we finally got our meals. They weren't bad. They weren't amazing but not bad either. Definitely not worth the price tag. THEN.. the flies came. As soon as our food was set down the flies just came in full attack mode. We had a difficult time eating just because we couldn't get to our food because we were so busy swatting flies!! (I should have taken a picture of this too.. I'm a bad yelper I think). Finally my SO couldn't take it anymore and asked to be moved inside. When we got inside the flies were a bit less aggressive, but then it was as if we were completely forgotten. We finally finished eating but never got our water refilled or even checked on. We waited 10-15 minutes again...once we were completely done... until finally we flagged someone down for our check. Then, while we were waiting for that, we witnessed the runners taking out the trash with BARE HANDS. I'm going to assume they washed their hands afterward but given the state of the fly situation I couldn't help but wonder ... Save yourself and just go with any of the other options, there are many. read more

This place is adorable and delicious and makes amazing brunch cocktails. I've been 3 times and each time I've tried something different, it has not disappointed yet! Their mimosas are in a league of their own with add ins like fresh squeezed strawberry juice. I also enjoy their bloody mary which has just the right amount of spice and for some reason actually makes me want to drink 2 which is rare (I can usually only down one and then on to beer). As I said above I have never had a bad meal. My personal favorite is the quiche. I had the quiche lorraine which has a flavorful filling and a perfectly flaky crust. It comes with a nice fresh salad. The Back to Bed Quesadillas are great if you are starving and, as the name implies, ready for a nap. Everyone raves about the waffles but I am such a savory gal that I haven't tried them yet. This is a favorite brunch spot for sure, especially when paired with the Third Street Farmers Market! read more

We have eaten at Jane's on two visits to Naples and have always found the food to be fresh and consistantly good. The service is very attentive and the food is served quickly, though sometimes a little fast if you're having more than one course. I have always enjoyed Janes, However my recent experience was a little disappointing. I wanted to have one traditional eggs Benedict and one lobster Beni, however the waiter/ chef would not do it. I was required to order two separate orders so I could get what I wanted. I know this may not sound like a big deal but why would they do this. Why not give the customer what they want. How hard could it have been. Also, the waiter was very snippy when I voiced my disappointment at having to Ofer both to get what I wanted. I have told many friends and have heard similar feedback. Ordered the mimosa (big girl), which I wasn't a fan of and asked for a very tasty lemonade instead. For my entree I had the crab cake melt, which did melt in my mouth. Crab cake was absolutely deelish and the aioli and cheese sandwiching this brunchly goodness was one of the best crab dishes I have had in a while. This review gets 3 stars because the back of the restaurant should have more fans for the hot temperatures we get in Florida. I don't like to perspire more than the condensation of my water glass over my meal. Lastly, the unpalatable mimosa I kindly informed my waiter about, which I didn't even consume, should have been deducted from my bill and they really made no effort to do anything about it. Janes Cafe , was super cute . Love the area full of shoes and restaurants . I had the omelet with avocado, bacon , havarti cheese, with a side of home potatoes . The inlet was fine . Nothing I would go back for . Home fries didn't have much either . My fiancé and one some, and daughter had the vegetarian eggs Benedict and the reg eggs Benedict . They all loved it . The eggs on each order were not all cooked perfect but they were still very tasty . My other son had berry blintz . He loved every bite ( very flavorful). Atmosphere and lighting were great . Two things that were negative . It was hot , they had fans blowing , one was not one . And we wear sweating . There were a few flies that were a nuisance especially with the heat . I'm a transplanted local in Naples. I've been down here for about five years now. I moved from Santa Barbara in CA, so my tastes typically run towards fusion with a pit stop at granola. That said Jane's (the third street location - don't bother with the rest - ambience matters) suits my taste buds like pollen to a bee. I've eaten there on many occasions and the food is always delicious. The wait staff can be over stressed at times with God knows how many tables they are running. This is now my favorite breakfast cafe in town. So charming. So delicious. Great service. Billy was attentive and efficient and very personable. It was a busy and rainy Sunday morning so there was a lot for him to contend with and he was unflappable. Great atmosphere. Decided to try a different place for lunch. We wanted to eat outside since it was such a perfect day. The patio is charming and shaded. Unfortunately it's right in the flight path for Naples airport so fairly noisy if it's a busy day for jets. Today was busy. The server was attentive without being annoying. I settled on the Chipotle Chicken BLT salad and she got the quiche. We both were disappointed as neither meal had much flavor. Not bad but definitely not good choices. We were here for brunch yesterday with friends. They do not take reservation for brunch so we walked in and for a table of 5 it took about 15 minutes. We were seated outside but it's great because umbrellas covered most of the outdoor space. The ambiance is great! We all ordered different things from savory to sweet items and there was nothing special about the food. The mimosas and the home fries were two most delicious and memorable items I remember. However, the staff seems to know the regulars well. 1) Crab quiche - too crabby. It was a bit heavy and hard to eat too much of. However, if you love quiche and crab, this may be perfect for you 2) Vanilla belgium waffles - apparently, they are well known for this. The waffles were okay.
