The term "outlet" is very misleading as this store has the same products and prices as a normal Janie and Jack store. The employees are nice enough; unlike a regular J&J store, this one often looks ransacked and disorganized. They do have more items on their clearance racks but the discounts aren't anything to write home about. I have better luck on the actual J&J website. read more

I literally just walked out of the store and felt compelled to write this review. I was the only customer in the store, yet no one greeted me or acknowledged that I was there. Two young Asian girls walked right past me chatting and laughing. I honestly did not even realize they worked there because they seemed more focused on their conversation than helping customers. The bigger cashier lady also never said a word to me. The entire time I was in the store, the employees seemed more interested in discussing what they were going to have for lunch than providing any customer service. It was a disappointing experience and made me feel completely ignored. Basic things like greeting customers and offering assistance should be standard. I walked in for a gift. Upon entering the store, no one to greets you. It's always nice when you step into the store and an employee verbally says a quick, "Welcome to the __." To me this goes a long way to where I'm always more inclined to make a purchase. I walked around for nearly 25 minutes trying to find a gift and was never acknowledge. This despite one of the sales people walking over. She stood next to me folding clothes all the while never making eye contact. I was finally greeted or rather thanked for coming in as I walked half way towards the exit -I hadn't planned on leaving, still hoping to find a gift. Dirty and disorganized store, which is a surprise considering the store is empty on a busy Saturday afternoon. Maybe if the two cashiers (African American girl and another girl with makeup explosion on her face) got off their phones and picked up from time to time. Maybe even a simple hello to customers coming in would help people feel invited. But nope, something was much more important on their phones than their jobs and any customers. I tried buying something and asked for size help. Got a little wave, it's over there somewhere. Cold atmosphere, dirty store, lazy workers. I've visited this store several times during the past year. Two of the times, the store was closed during posted business hours. When the store is actually open during business hours, the staff is rude and incompetent, including the store manager. Save yourself a trip and shop elsewhere or even online. This is why brick-and-mortar stores are failing- abhorrent customer service and no one who actually cares about helping the customer. read more

Adorable Holiday outfits. Since becoming a mom I have been obsessed with this store. The Cutest stuff! Especially for formal outfits for Holidays or pictures. I have been to other locations. The staff at this location specifically is amazing! They genuinely care, smile, and seem to enjoy their jobs. Thank you Amanda for being so patient with me on the phone while I was having her pull an entire order to put on hold. Even after we hung up someone had returned the Pimlico Blazer in the size I needed and she went out of her way to add it to the hold order. We will be back! read more

ZERO STARS. I just left this store right now extremely upset! It is October 20, 2020 at 4:50pm and the older lady at the register had the audacity to stop me on my way out of the store to basically look inside the wrap where I carry my 5 month old infant. Then she continues to try to make conversation with my husband to further look into our stroller. I'm extremely upset and most of all offended that she would assume I would be stealing from the store. I hope that management takes these reviews seriously and has a conversation with her. You get what you pay for in life. Yes it's pricey for kids clothes but some of the sale stuff can be pretty reasonable. The customer service in this store is absolutely ridiculous. For a children's clothing store, some of the associates need to adjust their attitude and how they deal with customers. I was buying gifts and asked for them to be wrapped up in a box with a gift receipt. My answer was "oh we don't do that on weekends when we have a line". I look back and there is NO LINE. And the funny part is the other associate was gift boxing the clothing that was purchased by the woman in front of me. Asking for additional sizes is a burden, asking for almost anything is illegal. This specific associate had to ask her manager for everything. Even how to change the receipt paper roll. Very very very disappointed. read more

3 stars only because I like their quality products and price (especially their sales) but have been disappointed with the customer service. One time I had to return something and a sales associate rudely said, "that's not a return, is it?" I personally don't return items in general so her statement made me feel uncomfortable and even ashamed for returning something. I have always loved this store, but never had anyone to buy for. Now i have a Nephew. He is a preemie. So the reason for only 4 stars is for the company not having any preemie clothing and very little new born. On the positive side, the young lady who helped me was great. She ended up finding a cute long sleeve onesie and a pair of pants. She said that their clothes tend to run small. I ended up buying them, even though they weren't returnable. I had a very strange experience in this store this evening. I walked in to the empty store at about 8:30 and the saleswoman there didn't look up from the register. After about 15 minutes of me browsing in the empty store, still nothing! It was very strange. I paid, and still not a word.
