Open face roast beef, green chile with tortillas

Excellent food with calm, attentive service. As a bonus, there is no tv yelling at you from a corner, nor is there any music (or commercials) blaring from speakers. You get the sense that you'll be happy with anything on the menu. Can recommend the green chile as well as open face roast beef.

First off when was the last time you received a Christmas card signed by all the employees? When you arrived at the business. I walked through the door and was greeted by the warmest welcome ever. Thank you for that. I had 2 blueberry pancakes and did not have to ask for more butter, scrambled eggs/cheddar and German sausage, with side of the green chile, coffee, OJ water. Everything was delicious. The service was so fast and friendly. They were so happy all the customers were there. Go here you won't regret it.

Pancakes, eggs and link sausage. Excellent breakfast on a cold morning before a hike. Extremely attentive and kind server. Great small cafe in downtown Longmont.

After a hard work out at Gold's gym, I decided I wanted to steak and eggs for breakfast. Not many steak houses in longmont, but I found this gem of a diner. I got the 8oz New York strip steak with over medium eggs and crispy hash browns. I was damn delighted! I could tell right upon entering that I choice the perfect spot because there were plenty of patrons in there. The staff were very respectful and receptive. Thanks would come again!

Stopped in at Janie's Cafe early one Friday morning for breakfast. Apparently I arrived before the "locals rush" started. The place was almost empty when I arrived - but within 15 minutes a wave of locals, mostly older folks - who the wait staff knew on a first name basis - began to filter in. I ordered one of their skillets - a dish with Chorizo, eggs, potatoes, and cheese. Plus coffee and water. Overall, a tasty dish. However, and I pointed this out to my server when I was paying my bill - the amount of Chorizo in the dish was embarrassingly skimpy. They should be embarrassed to advertise Chorizo in the dish - assuming the amount they gave me (4 small pieces) is what they give everyone. Also - please note - they do not accept the American Express credit card. I had no cash on me - I had to go walk down the street, and around the corner - to a Bank ATM - to get cash to pay for breakfast - the ATM, incidentally, adds another $3.00 to the cost of breakfast, due to the ATM usage fee. The coffee tasted a little off/odd to me - so I did not finish the regular sized cup they poured me. Service was good. #JaniesCafe

Best breakfast burrito in Longmont hands down. Green chili is killer. Love dining in with the great family atmosphere but during football season I choose to go. Door Dash takeout ordering makes this super easy. Love love love this place.

There are multiple seating options - inside, patio, or rooftop. We opted for the rooftop and the vibes were excellent. The weather was gorgeous and the rooftop patio is nicely decorated with live plants and a big bar running the length of the patio. Our server was excellent. I think his name was Danny. One of our party has an alcohol intolerance, so needs to avoid foods cooked with alcohol. Danny was super helpful in guiding our menu options with this information. He confirmed multiple dishes with the chef before we ordered. For food, we started with the Truffle Parm Fries, Fried Brussels Sprouts, and the Bangin' Cauliflower. All were delicious. The cauliflower was extremely good, I can see why so many reviews mention it. For entrees, our group ordered the Short Rib Tacos, Jumbo Crab Cakes, Chilean Salmon, and the Avocado Salad with Seared Ahi. No complaints around the table. The meat in the Short Rib tacos is super tasty. Portions were good sized, however the Crab Cake dish is definitely smaller than the others. Good option if you aren't super hungry. The Chilean Salmon was cooked perfectly. We didn't really have any complaints at all. Solid dining experience. Would definitely return if I'm ever back in the Longmont area.

Ambiance: excellent for breakfast or brunch with friends, working solitary on your laptop, having a quick sandwich on the rooftop patio, or a work meeting (in-person would be nice because the velvet couches are legit). I really liked the attention to details (such as the hooks for hanging a purse under the countertop). Cool decor and the vibe is like somebody oversized den, but instagram-worthy, you know? The two highlights (neither of which I captured in pictures) were the mortadella sandwich (with mayo and what I think was pistachio) - EXCELLENT. The other stand out item was their brownie - It was a mix of a little lava cake and chocolate fudge - again a little pricey but of all the things I got it was worth every penny. There is a walk up/take-away area and a sit down area that was charming. Parking is not always easy in the area but worth the struggle. I was extremely impressed and will be returning regularly.

The host made the choice to sit two people on a "let's get to know each other" work date, at the table right next to me. PLENTY of empty tables in the joint. One table over would have been amazing. My family and I went on a Friday morning around 10am and were seated immediately without a wait. The food was just okay. Our group ordered the Eggs Your Way (with Bacon), Full English Breakfast, Corned Beef Hash, and the Tangerine Breakfast Combo. The Eggs Your Way and Tangerine Breakfast Combo are pretty standard breakfast restaurant offerings. Eggs, Meat, Potatoes, Toast. Decent and did their job. The Full English Breakfast wasn't great. The person who ordered it said it was unseasoned and unimpressive. We've had a Full English in the UK - and this is no where near the real deal. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash. It was ok. Flavor-wise, it was seasoned well. However, the corned beef was cut into large cubes. Approximately the same size as a breakfast potato. I wasn't a fan of this rendition. I prefer when it's finely chopped or shredded. This version didn't really feel like a hash. Definitely got the impression this place is hit or miss. Not sure I'd come back personally, but overall it wasn't terrible.
