The chicken place has a line out the parking lot and the sushi place isn't what you are looking for. Ah - but there is Taco Palace! Clean, easy, good prices and hardly ever crowded (which seems impossible compared to what you are getting). The place is a good tacoria - where you can get good Mexican dishes at a reasonable price. They have a large menu of tacos, burritos and plates. The breakfast burrito is excellent and like the other burritos - the tortilla is one of those high-gluten stretchy ones. What a great surprise. Best Tacos I have had and I have lived here all my life. I had the carnitas and a crispy beef taco, my office mates had Shredded chicken and a burrito. The servings are large, they off 8 salsas and a traditional carrot onion relish. Bypass the chains in this area. read more

We've been loyal customers here since they opened. The food is always delicious and worth the money. However, after our experience tonight we will never go back and we'll encourage others not to frequent this establishment as well. We got home and were missing one of our meals. No biggie, we'll just call and see if they can refund it to our card. My husband called and as soon as he said we got home without one of the meals that we paid for, the lady hung up on him. So he called back and no one answered. He tried again and still no one answered. So he went back to the restaurant and asked for our missing meal or a refund. They did provide the missing meal, even though it was it was wrong. We also asked to speak with a manager and not only is there no manager on duty, they refused to call a manager or anyone in charge. I have been driving by this place for awhile now meaning to try it out. I am so happy that I finally did. The food is super tasty and their salsas are great. I think they make or buy locally their tortillas because they are fantastic. Chewy and a lil thicker than basic tortillas. Sort of like the ones at Cafe Rio. I ordered on door dash for pickup and it was smooth and easy. Because these are full meals they offer in the drive thru sometimes the wait can be a lil long. I tried the potato rolled tacos. Everything about this place is bad. The woman working there was unfriendly, the food was TERRIBLE, the place was dirty and the prices were too high. How can you mess up tacos? My rice was cold and the chips were stale. The taco meat was overly salty and the crispy tortilla shells were stale. The refried beans were almost warm and had no flavor. My husband's steak was extremely thin and chewy because it was overcooked and his rice was cold as well. And you have to use plastic utensils! We will never go back. read more

Horrible place! Please try to avoid this place if you're able. I see the same problem with other customers. It was late night so I went to Taco Palace in Longmont to get some food and when I got home I noticed an item missing so I decided to give them a call since it was the second time for me. I was not looking for a refund only to let them know so they can pay attention. I called and requested a manager but no manager was available at any location. They were nasty and said to me to stop running my mouth. The employees are running the place, and every time I call they keep hanging up. They don't realize that they are in business thanks to us the customers and this happened in both locations so you know there is not only one person doing it. This is a very good fast casual Mexican / Tex-Mex restaurant off SH-119 in Longmont. I have ordered their chicken chimichanga, lengua taco, fish taco, smothered shrimp burrito, smothered vegetarian burrito, pork tamales, & beef enchiladas. I have also gotten some of these items as a combination platter, with rice and refried beans. The refried beans include a couple tortilla chips on them. I find the food here to have succulent flavor in its sauces and the ingredients to be fresh as well. The interior of this restaurant is also clean and modern, which is a upgrade to the ones I've had up in Greeley. I'd recommend this place as a quick bite to eat if someone is in the Longmont area. read more

This was my first visit to Taco Palace. I ordered a chicken chimichanga with rice and beans. Got it at the drive-thru. There was a slight glitch where I was charged for the wrong order (probably the car behind me) but that was quickly taken care of. Food looked great. However, when I attempted to eat it I found the refried-beans and the chimichanga were so salty I couldn't eat them. I tossed more than half of my lunch in the trash. You can always add salt if your tastes prefer really salty food, you can't remove salt. If I was eating inside Taco Palace I would have sent it back, but I was at home, so in the garbage it went. I would have to assume that this was an anomaly, and I will try Taco Palace again (everyone deserves a second chance). read more

Late night Mexican is limited to one or two options usually, but this great late night snack hits the spot with way better flavor. They serve as close to authentic as fast food Mexican is going to get. Don't be afraid to try something new as everything served here is very good! My personal favorite is the California burrito since I'm from, well Cali. Tacos are never a bad way to go, and the carne asada fries/nachos are to die for (apart from the occasional fat piece/gristle). But if you've had real Mexican food, it's not completely uncommon to come across the occasional "bad" piece. Fill that hole in the void with a close to true Mexican fast food! read more

Went through the drive trough and was politely greeted. Clean menu with a lot of options. They make your food to order so you do have to wait a couple minutes. I ordered the smothered Chorizo and Potato breakfast burrito. They have two options spicy or not spicy, of course I went with spicy :). Got home and was pleased to see the size of it for the price. Was going to head to Chipotle but I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place instead. This food is absolutely amazing. Being the lazy person that I am, I decided to go through the drive thru for my first visit, not really expecting much. But this food (and the service that came with it) blew me away. Just the right amount of spice, everything was cooked to perfection, and the portion sizes were bigger than I expected. I ordered one veggie burrito. This place is no simple drive-thru / fast-food spot. It is a hidden gem of authentic and absolutely delicious Mexican cuisine. The combo dishes are filling and once again, just so good! The Carne Asada #1 is my top choice, make sure to try it out! The smothered burrito is the size of a small battleship and ready to fill even the biggest of appetites. They also make awesome fajitas, tacos, flautas, etc. Try it all, its worth it! Don't forget the churros! The cream filled ones are as close to heaven as I think I've ever gotten. Prices are a little up there compared to other "fast" places, but its worth it, and the quality is more sit-down restaurant than anything else. Amazing staff, amazing food!
