I ordered "Michael's Mess" for breakfast. I got to pick 5 things to go in it. I chose bell peppers, onions, sausage, bacon, and mushrooms. Already included in "the mess" was three omelet style eggs, a chopped up biscuit and fried red potatoes. ALL of this was mixed and heaped on a large dinner plate and smothered with sausage gravy. We were warned that it was huge. When it arrived, it was enough food to fill the stomachs of four adults. My wife and I split it in half and we each ate half of the half and were stuffed. Now, this was more then just a belly packing buffet, it was delicious. It was hard to stop eating even when brain and stomach were screaming, "STOP!!!!" Our server was great and even gave us a cash discount which we didn't even ask for. A great place for breakfast if you're planning an inactive morning to recover. read more

Local breakfast &a Brunch restaurant. Reminds me of Hoagies in Minneapolis (MN). Homemade dishes. Outdoor and indoor seating. We loved it so much that we stopped in everyday for late breakfast/brunch. They open early and close at 3pm. One day per week - They are open on Thursdays until 9pm. Homemade corned beef hash is Devine! Their potato spuds are amazing. Dishes are served with a side of sour cream, apple sauce and maple syrup. They have mimosas if you would like! Amazing pies and bakery with take home items. Fun shops across the street. Clean, causal. Great service. No waiting. Always full. We will be returning! read more

We enjoy eating breakfast here on the weekends. They are busy so it's tough to get reservations (they won't seat you until everyone is there). Prices are a little high but portions are big and food is great. We have always had a great experience with all the wait staff. Love the corned beef Benedict's. This is just about breakfast: Jan's offers really good food, I'd say the best for a couple miles in any direction. The only drawback was the service. Staff appeared stretched on the day I visited, so there may have been other issues, but service was spotty as a result. I think five different people visited the table, but "our" waitress must have been busy elsewhere, as there was little follow-up. Up the attention and consistency from servers, and this would rate five stars as a breakfast spot with really good food and selection. read more

We were out of town and stopped here because it was one of the only breakfast places. We ended up coming back every morning. Everyone was so nice and welcomed us. Even on a holiday weekend they got us seated very fast. The food was incredible. I got the New Orleans Benedict and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. There is such a huge selection of breakfast foods, it was honestly super difficult to just pick one. A very good spot for breakfast. A few weeks ago we made the mistake of not getting there before the 40 minute wait on a Sunday and we went across the street to Mulligans. Today we got to Jans a little before 8 and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. We split a veggie ch omletee (paid sharing charge I think its $2.50) which entitles each person 2 sides. We each got our own spuds Jans version of potatoe cakes home made delicousness grits and fresh fruit to share. Well worth the early trip. read more

Very good place for breakfast! We ate at Jan's the day after we arrived in Jensen Beach for vacation. The food was great as was the service. I don't like straying away from the traditional breakfast foods, I had scrambled eggs, bacon & French toast. The servings were perfect and the coffee was fresh. This is not a hip, cool spot with a high end decor....it's clean and friendly and right on the main drag. They have several outdoor tables and it's a great place to watch all the activities on the street. And the food is fanTAStic. And a great menu. Both my wife and I had the daily special which was a large cinnamon roll turned into french toast with eggs and a meat. I had scrambled and ham.
