We have really tried to like this place over the years. No problem with the service -- the staff are great. The restaurant interior is nicely done. But we have not had any luck with the food or cocktails. And it is always, always freezing inside. On our last visit we had very average sushi and sesame chicken that had so many tough and chewy parts (cartilage? burnt meat?) I immediately regretted ordering it. The cocktails (a couple different types of martinis) were heavy on the mixers/flavors -- they left a cloying taste in my mouth, not clean or subtle drinks at all. Came here on a Monday night and were seated immediately. Extensive menu with lots of options at a fair price. I got the combo roll and was happy with the quantity and quality of the food. My boyfriend got drunken noodles which I tried and thought were a little bland, but that's personal preference. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that our service was pretty slow. Although I didn't dine in, I did accidentally use the back entrance which lead me through the dining area before I reached the host area. This would be a great date night restaurant. The ambiance is a bit dark and little sexy, in my opinion. Edamame: 3/3 The garlic in this was delicious and plentiful. The edamame was enough to share with at least 2-3 people. Lettuce Wraps: 2/3 These were really salty without even using the sauce. The flavor was good, however. I would share this between 2-3 people. I love that Bellevue has an Eastern Peak location. The crab fried rice and thai basil noodles are my favorite dishes. Large portions and excellent flavors. I think they do a pretty decent job with sushi rolls as well. Extensive menu capturing cuisine across Asia. Decent drink and cocktail menu. Wine options may be improved. Although the decor gives off a more sophisticated look it's still family friendly. read more

We had the Fried Calamari, which was done to a perfection that far exceeded every other time we've had this appetizer anywhere. For the main dish, we had the Crab Fried Rice and once again - perfection! I was a little disappointed when the Thai Tea came and the cream was already mixed in, but it was the equal of Thai Tea we've come to expect at great restaurants. I asked the server why it was already mixed and she confided to us that the owner is very exacting in how the food is prepared - to such an extent that dishes are not allowed to be altered. Which... We had stellar bar service for an early dinner! Great and well made cocktails. The pomegranate mojito and martini are new favorites! Hands down one of my favorite spots in Bellevue! Eastern Peak has a pretty extensive menu. I went with the recommendation of my dining mate and had the Red Curry, added the chicken. Chose Brown Rice and found it all to be very good. We love Asian and pan Asian cuisine and found Eastern Peak to try. It was great on a weekday evening as it wasn't too busy. The ambiance was nice- casual, but you could still dress it up a little. The menu was extensive with lots of options to choose from. It also looks like they have a M-F lunch menu and I saw signs for happy hour (not sure when that is or what's on the menu). I wasn't sure if I wanted Sushi or a hot meal so I opted for both. I ordered some sushi for an appetizer and then had a hot entree. Nigiri (tuna, salmon, yellowtail)- all were delicious and had a nice size slice of fish Miso soup- tasted like basic miso soup. It was lukewarm. Could have been hotter Miso salmon with grilled asparagus- the salmon was cooked nicely with a good crisp on the outside. The miso sauce made the rice sweet which was a refreshing change. I added a little Sriracha to make it spicy and sweet. The asparagus was a hit! It was grilled to perfection and with an extra squeeze of lemon had the most flavor I've ever tasted in a serving of asparagus. Loved it! Also I had a glass of wine and they gave me a really nice size pour! Will definitely be back! read more

After being big fans through Door Dash deliveries, we finally had the opportunity to eat here in person for my husband's birthday. We tried their sushi selection and it was Yummmy, yummy, Yummy!!! All the thumbs up for this place! It would be different if their Thai food wasn't as good as the Japanese food, but it IS! We have enjoyed just about every type of Asian food category they offer and it's all delicious. Sushi we ordered the Salmon Don, the Eastern Oeak Roll, and Spicy Tuna roll, with Gyozas and Miso soup to start. Finished it off with the Fried bananas and green tea ice cream! Dessert was super delicious! My husband described it as a Japanese Sundae, and I couldn't agree more (in the best way possible)! Plus, they serve wine and other alcohol, so what's not to love!? I ordered takeout. I got the teriyaki chicken entree with a salad and ginger dressing , and fried rice. I got the " yum yum " sauce on the side as well. I don't remember the name but it is pretty close to the taste. I thoroughly enjoyed the portions of the sides and chicken. Wish the chicken was actually tossed in the teriyaki because the portion cup is not enough for the whole grilled chicken. But truly depends how saucy you want. We dined at Eastern Peak this week to celebrate a birthday and had some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Our server was Ebonay, who was friendly, warm, and welcoming. When we had questions about items on the menu, she knowledgeably answered them, making a few recommendations about what we might enjoy - and she was so right, we absolutely did. She checked on us with a smile and engaged in conversation with our table that was engaging and further boosted the fun of our experience. From start to finish, her outstanding service and warm demeanor was the perfect complement to our delicious meal. The Eastern Peak is taking Nashville by storm since expanding their South Nashville location with two other locations--one in Bellevue and the other in the Gulch. The Bellevue location is located by the AMC movie theater off of Hwy 70. There is a lot of parking around back and many other restaurants in this burgeoning neighborhood hangout. The Eastern Peak is definitely the classiest spot on the block. My coworker and I came here for happy hour and took advantage of some of the great deals they have. Select sushi rolls are $5 so I got the spicy tuna roll and my coworker got the happy hour chicken lettuce wraps which are still a steal at $7. We both enjoyed what we got. Now, onto the drinks. I could have had 5 of the grapefruit margaritas--this was such a different take on a margarita and I am a new fan. I believe the happy hour price was either $5 or $6, so very reasonable. Alcohol level was moderate--it wasn't super strong but definitely not weak either. Service was pretty good but since we sat at the bar there was a lot happening. The large rectangular bar is so large that it is actually a detriment to the bartender. I felt bad because she actually had to leave the bar, walk to where we were sitting then clear our plates because she was too far to reach them or for us to pass them over really. This probably also depends on which side but we were on one of the corners. I would definitely come back. The restaurant is clean and modern, the food and drinks were good with great happy hour deals and the staff were nice. It's a win for me! read more
