You can trust Jasmine's for great food, great drinks, and good value. This has been our "Go to" Restaurant for more than three years even though it is a farther drive than other places we go. I'm reviewing it today because I realized that I usually only review places that disappoint me. Today I will describe what I feel is the best dining-out experience in our area. Menu Items: Many choices from Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Americanized. We have enjoyed nearly every meal we have ordered over the years. We dine here 15-20 times per year and have explored the menu extensively. Once, the Pad Thai lacked flavor, and another time I ordered an Asian-sirloin which was over-cooked and dry, but every other menu meal has been satisfying and impressive. Sushi: I love it! Always fresh-tasting and interesting. My son says there is better sushi in the greater Worcester area, but for the price and quality, I expect most people will be satisfied. Buffet: This is Jasmine's best offering! They serve a lunch buffet every day until 2 PM. The choices are extensive, the quality is excellent, and it is nearly always fresh. Look closely, and you will see workers replacing buffet items that have lingered too long. I have been annoyed at other buffets when my favorite item looked like it sat too long and I had to wait for some fool to use it up before I head back for the fresh plate . I have found many BAD buffets over the years, but few CONSISTENTLY GREAT ones. Jasmine's buffet is consistently great! Try it, you won't be disappointed. Hibachi: We've never tried it, but sure hear people having fun around the grill tables. The general rule at hibachi tables is everyone eats off the hibachi menu. I have several friends tell me that Jasmine's has offered the regular menu to members of their group who didn't want hibachi. That's great respect for what the customer wants... Bar: My family says the Mai Tais are great, often I'm happy with water, but when I order a martini it is consistently great. Jasmine's drink prices are about the same as other comparable places. We don't order their wine because like most places, it is expensive and you don't get much. I've enjoyed reviewing this great restaurant! Please try it and add your own review. Love, love, LOVE this place. If you're looking for great Chinese or Japanese food, this place is the way to go. Starting with the Chinese buffet, there's always a selection to choose and the food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Any selection with the sushi or hibachi is awesome and the staff are always entertaining. If you come to this place for sushi, I recommend always trying out the specials, because they always come out with something to remember. read more

Bigggg fan of Jasmine Chinese food... Great combo dinners (f.e gen tso chicken w pork fried rice and chicken fingers under $10 bucks) fresh food and super fast... I call in, they say 20 minutes, I'm their in 10 and it's ready to go !! Awesome hunan beef and chicken/good prices... Have never eaten on site but always busy inside/nice looking bar.. read more

The food is inconsistent. Appetizers come out and you can tell they have been sitting under a warmer for a while, barely warm and even cold. Nothing is freshly made. read more

Terrible! Was in area for the night and wanted good Asian dinner. I was so disappointed to get back to my hotel with a box of dried, old noodles (container wasn't even closed!) and soggy canned vegetables drowning in sauce. Threw it in trash!!!! Stay away read more

Not the best food... Yong shing is the best... I managed to see a table being "cleaned" behind my mom... And the lady didn't even spray anything on the table... She just wiped the table with rag... The rag was probably used on every table... Gross!!! The food was ok... Kinda weird... The sushi was typical make at your home... It has a nice bar with a hibachi! They have party events and it's huge!!!! It's $11 for lunch on Sunday! It's nice price for ok food... Very dark in here... And huge inside! read more

Excellent sushi. It is very fresh. They have a wide variety on their menu. They have very personable staff. Great service. Very accommodating for young children. (We brought our 12 month old.) We went for a late lunch, around 2:45 on a Saturday. There was plenty of seating. read more

Jasmine's was a good little place. Not much from the outside but I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Such a shame I had to pay per cup for my hot tea! I hate when places do that. I feel if you are spending 60 or 70 bucks on a meal, I should get my darn hot tea on the house! Feng in Milbury does that too. Hence the $110 bill on V-Day! Aside from that little hiccup, the sushi was yummy. I loved the spicy scallop. Yah, scallop- I know! I am used to spicy tuna or salmon but the scallop was a nice change. The service on the other hand was another story. I went in with my Mom and we ordered the seafood soup for two (really yummy), 3 rolls (among which were the spicy scallop, red socks and a soft-shell crab one) and a duck dish. I specifically ordered the Hunan duck which was tossed with broccoli. I noticed the Shang Hi duck (or something along those lines) and it had black mushrooms. I was jonesing for some crunchy broccoli and they brought the mushroom one! When I questioned them they acted like this is what I ordered. I actually had to ask them for the menu so I could show them which one I ordered and It was certainly not the one with the shrooms! They simply plucked the mushrooms out and added broccoli and pretended like the sauces were similar, yadda, yadda, yadda...but a foodie knows what the bleep she ordered! Overall the food was good, even the mushroom ridden duck. The sushi was yummy (I have had better;) and the bill was reasonable. About 60 bucks for 3 rolls, soup and a duck dish....oh yah, can't forget the green tea too ;) read more

Packed restaurant and fresh food when I ate there around 1PM, which is definitely what you want when you go to a Chinese buffet! The more people there are the better I feel about eating the food. Can't ask for more than hot, decent food. Not the best Chinese food, but I've have MUCH worse. Would give around 3.5 stars. read more

Last month, one of the Tuesday that I was stop by the bar, I met the same guy "manager" with an really bad atitude, he was making my drink and it was tasteless. I don't think the manager how to make drink and I talked to him about the drink that he makes, and he says he gives me a free drink. I told him that I don't need it. He says he gives out a lot of free drink to customers. Nickelson myseft and my girlfriend was there the week before christmas which of my girlfriend birthday. This is my first time that I was sit in and eat. Howerver, the food came out so long and got cold and when I talk to manager, he gives me an really bad atitude as yelling at me and talk so loud to me. The manager being so rude for this restaurant. Went here for Lunch and had a weird experience. There was a buffet open and before we had even ordered drinks our waitress took our menus. When We asked to have them back the waitress said "No. Buffet cheaper". Like what? Lol. Anyways we decided to go to the buffet and our waitress hovered over us showing us what was at the buffet and kept saying it was cheaper than the lunch menus. My Mom however saw the lunch menu on the internet and wanted to order something from it (More of a Sushi selection than the buffet). When we got back to the table they took our menus again so we had to ask her to get the menus back to the table. Basically had to ask 3 times to see the lunch menus. Clearly they tell their employees to "Upsell" the buffet instead of the lunch menu because the food on the lunch menu costs less. I don't know, pretty weird. Anyways, we finally ordered sushi and it was awesome, the food here looks great and the atmosphere and décor are nice, just was kind of annoyed that the waitress just didn't do what we asked of in the first place and tried to steer us towards the buffet haha. read more

Used to go to Jasmine a lot, but I've noticed a massive drop in quality. Unfortunately, I was given a gift card here, so I'll have to go back. Everything is mediocre - their service, their sushi, their Chinese food. You can get much better sushi at other places. This place was great when it was one of the only sushi places around, but there are tons of places within 10-20 minutes of it that are much better. I think the worst thing I've ordered is the crab rangoons. They're small, disappointing, and don't have any flavor. I love crab rangoons, and I actively avoid ordering them. The staff is friendly. The cooking tables are funny. Food is great. Sushi selection is large and from someone who doesn't eat fish they have a large selection of vegitarian sushi. The Buffett is large and the selection is wonderful. Only bad part is they have no baby changing station in the bathrooms and they close at 11. The building is larger on the inside than it looks from the outside, there is a bar area, two separate dining areas and a hibachi section. I've only ever ate in the bar or dining areas, I haven't tried their hibachi yet. As far as the food goes they have a buffet as well as a menu you can order from. The buffet is good and I usually get it when I go so I can have a variety of different items instead of only 1 or 2 from the menu. They also have sushi at the buffet and a separate menu if you just want to order it. It's good, not great, but certainly the best place in auburn for Sushi. read more

Usually get take out. Pretty good food. If you're ordering take out on a holiday, plan ahead and order about 5 hrs prior to needing it as it gets very busy! I would only eat in the bar area as the bartender is pretty nice. read more

Let's face it, Central Mass is not a hotbed of good Asian (sushi, thai, chinese) food but this place is a nice little gem. Forgive the placement in a nondescript strip mall - the interior of this place is surprisingly decent. We've never done the hibachi but it seems to be popular, with lots of hoots and hollers. What this place does is good, solid Asian food. Their sushi is fresh and tasty. As vegetarians, the sesame tofu is a very nice find. If you have dietary preferences, you need to be super specific with your server and ask with every sauce they serve (they've served fish sauce with vegetable tempura after being told we don't eat fish). I love their spicy string beans. Good mai tais that don't burn your eyebrows off. Only critic, it would be nice if they offered brown rice. Amazingly good value. My fiancée and I have eaten here and gotten take out many times and love everything we have tried. It always tastes fresh and clean... Unlike some places that even smell like old burnt oil. The prices are good and it would be my first choice for local take out !! read more

We come from Boston my brother is in a rehab facility in Worcester so he wanted Chinese food and we all took him out .We were very happy with the food everything was good.The restaurant had a nice atmosphere our waiter was very nice funny and accommodating. The place is pretty big and we could easily get his wheelchair in and out. we will definitely go back I meant to write this review sooner coming from Boston we had no idea what was good but we made the right choice. When it comes to Chinese Buffets, it's always a challenge to find one that provides delicious food. So far, this restaurant has provided the best food in New England yet! However, my biggest complaint, which is the biggest reason they were rated with 3-stars, is that there was hardly any food at the buffet, nor did it appear that the servers were working exceptionally hard to refill them either. So here you are paying 8-9.00 for the lunch buffet, and finding all-you-can-eat food wasn't even available for you to eat-it-all. Aside from that, the environment was nice and cozy, the waitress we had was personable and friendly, and the food we could FIND was amazing! Depending on the day, the food will either be great or mediocre. The buffet is great and has a large selection of food and is usually at its best when it starts up until about 45 minutes before it ends. After that the food tends to get cold and rubbery. They have great dinner options at an overall reasonable price, and the hibachi is a great source of entertainment. Overall it's a pretty decent restaurant with a good atmosphere. read more

Not sure if they have new chefs now but the last couple times I've been there it had been awful. Rice was dry with zero flavor. Chicken was over cooked and rock hard. Crab rangoons, we'll I don't really know what went wrong there I'm not actually sure what I ate. Had the lunch buffet a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty sure the only good thing I had were the donuts. This place came very highly recommended and we had been here for the lunch buffet on Father's Day which we all enjoyed. This was our second time here and most of food was good except some of the sushi except the red snapper which for some reason was tough.. Our lovely server was very nice but did not speak much English and screwed a couple things up by mistake All in all the atmosphere is gorgeous and the food really good.
