    Fresh Strawberry Cheezo Slush
    Savannah R.

I visited Jasmine Bubble Tea on Sunday, 5/14/23, around 8 PM. I ordered the Fresh Strawberry Cheezo Slush and the 8-Piece Shrimp Fried Shu Mai. As for the slush, I wasn't too much of a fan. The drink had an interesting taste and the strawberry flavor was extremely subtle. I wasn't able to finish it. However, I loved the Fried Shu Mai. It was fried to perfection and tasted delicious! The service was great. The staff members were pleasant and welcoming. Overall, I would probably order a different drink next time.

We stopped by after visiting one of the Ann Arbor museums and got the following: Taiwan Bubble Tea, Large, Less Ice, 75% Sugar, Regular Milk (comes w/ boba by default) - The drink is way too sweet at 75%, next time I will have to get 50% or even 25%. There is a heavy milk flavor, the sweetness and milkiness covers up the tea flavor. This will hopefully be better when less sweet. The boba was just a tad hard but the texture was still pretty good; chewy on the outside with a slightly firmer center. The drink is was on the expensive side at $7.09 after tax, possibly due to the location in downtown Ann Arbor. I might sound a bit critical, but I do think the drink in general was better than the Cha Time that Jasmine Bubble Tea replaced and is above average in Michigan. I would go again to try another drink, with toned down sweetness of course.

    Strawberry Mochi Latte

The service was quick and simple. The latte itself was just okay. I expected it to actually be a latte, but it just tasted like milk with mochi, which was the biggest disappointment. The mochi is a good texture, and there's a good amount of it in the cup. I wished there was a little more strawberry.

Great boba shop near Tower Plaza and Nickels Arcade! I popped by on a Friday afternoon to try their Green Jasmine milk tea. It was not too sweet and perfect with lychee jelly. There were several tables in the cozy environment which was well lit. Wi-Fi is available for those who want to do a little bit of cafe work. Seating is not abundant though, so I would feel apologetic staying for more than an hour. They also had some Chinese noodles and hot foods on the menu. I didn't have a chance to try them but would like to do so in a future visit!

Great bubble tea. Great food choices. Quiet and fun. Open late! Nice workers. Love it!

It just opened last month, replacing Cha Time. It was a very fast transition. I heard that this is a single location, instead of being a chain, so that's good. My friends said it was very expensive, and I would agree after seeing the menu. I went over for the first time today, and the prices are indeed high. But that doesn't bother me necessarily. What bothers me more is that there's only one cup size. I really would like a much bigger size. And unlike some other places that only have one drink size, the cup size at Jasmine Tea is quite small. But regarding other types of customizations, there are many ways to personalize your beverage to your taste, such as choosing your milk. Also, I got the 25% sweet level, and I would say it's very accurate. This appears to be on the few places where you can actually get a bubble tea with 0% sugar. The thing I miss most about Cha Time is the food. It was one of the few places where you could get Takoyaki and Gyoza pretty quickly and casually. I heard that the owners would be adding food to the menu however, so I'm looking forward to that. Some savory snacks would be much appreciated. All the other bubble tea places offer waffles and desserts, and I just don't crave any additional sweetness after bubble tea. Also, if this place is going to add more seating, that would be great. A lot of the other bubble tea places also function as a nice spot for social gatherings. The old Cha Time layout was really cramped, and didn't make for a good location to socialize. I feel that if the interior is opened up to have more room, then that would make this place a much bigger improvement over its predecessor. Because right now, it mostly just seems like a more expensive version of Cha Time with a smaller menu.

The Duo Boba and Mango Grapefruit Sago taste great! Really like the pudding and boba in duo boba!

So so cute in here! Nice and small and cozy. I got the mango sago and I definitely recommend ! I love cafes where you can order on the tablet bc it's faster and I don't feel rushed when pondering my order.

The sweetness isn't too sweet, and if you like a real, grassy matcha tasting matcha, Unitea is the place for you! The mango milk tea and matcha soft serve is also the best--huge fan of this combination and incredible kudos to Lina and the team at Unitea! It was a snowy afternoon so the customer volume was likely lower than usual at the shops of The Courtyard in Ann Arbor. The suite had a bright orange awning and about ten tables of various sizes for seating. Several power outlets were available along one wall for students to plug in their electronics and hang out because this business was across from a large college campus. Two self-service kiosks were at the counter where you could place an order. A menu board was hanging on the wall to the left for quick reference. Just drinks were served here as no food was offered. The categories were milk tea, fruit tea, slush, chocolate, yakult, macchiato, fresh milk, and tea. Six recommended choices with photos were listed at the top of the board. I selected the second one which was the Tropical Special. This drink was from the fruit tea category which was likely where I would have made a selection anyway. Passionfruit green tea with pearls and coconut jelly were the ingredients. I requested light ice and normal sweetness. The tea flavor wasn't strong, and the pearls were chewy and clumped together on the bottom of the cup. The jelly was extra filler that added more texture. The price was at least two dollars less than what I would have paid for a similar product at one of my local haunts. I gave a 3.5 star rating for my experience at CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice.

And only 1 employee making all the drinks (she did a good job)! There is a good amount of seating inside with colorful decoration of pac man. I ordered the Mango Milk Tea with black tea and boba. It was reasonably priced at $5 something. The boba was chewy and milk tea with mango syrup was good! It was very refreshing on this 94 degree weather day! I would come back! Oh also, when I asked what kind of milk they use (for my fellow lactose sensitive peeps), she said Creamer. Not sure if it's non-dairy creamer but it sat well in my stomach thankfully!

It's easy to order on a kiosk, and they do all the customizations (ice, sugar level, toppings). I got a medium iced Taro milk tea, 30% sweet, regular ice, add lychee jelly. It was good! Hit the spot. The level of sweetness and ice was just right. Lychee jelly was the perfect amount of chewy. The flavor of the tea was good, and actually tasted like tea. I didn't ask, but given the tea taste, I'm thinking this taro has caffeine (at other places, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't). I didn't get much of the taro flavor coming through though.
