I sent my mom a list of places and the first option they were automatically rude due to us not having an appointment scheduled. This ended up being where we ended up and it couldnt have gone any better than it did. They greeted us warmly and although they were busy they told us to give them a few minutes and they'd be right with us. Not 5 minutes later were we getting our nails done. They offered us a drink while we wated. My mom opted for the green tea and I had a Mimosa. Tony treated my mom so well,she's been having an issue with one of her nails and he paid attention and made her hands look stunning. I had Mary and she was the sweetest. She did such an amazing job. We went back this weekend and this time around my mom was helped by Tony and Holly and I got Amy. This is an amazing place to go. They stay busy consistently because although we had an appointment mannn did they have clientele. They are always so sweet and pleasant. My mom and I will definitely be returning.

I do get dip directly on my natural nail and have had dip done that way for close to 20 years. I do work with my hands and have always had great longevity with dip. The last 3 times my nails have chipped and broken 3-4 days in. Since I didn't have time, I just told them when I went in. The first time it was addressed and handled. They told me I needed to do builder gel. I'm allergic to gel on my nails and told them I couldn't do that and I've never had issues before. This went on 1 additional time. Fast forward to today. I got my nails done on a Wednesday. The following Sunday 2 were broken and by Monday 3 were broken. Unfortunately I'm on vacation and out of town unable to come in. Because I can't come in right away, they refused to handle it and told me I would have to pay for a whole new set and they can give me 10% off. I said it's 3 nails, it should at least be 30%. She said no she couldn't do that. Unfortunately after going round and round I've decided to take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of other nail salons in north county. The owner is nice and the young girl who answers phones and checks clients in. However after yesterday I will no longer be going back. I brought my best friend with me, it was her first visit there. She had Jimmy as her technician. When she asked if he could clean up around the nails and underneath, he threw a fit like a toddler would. He said he wasn't comfortable doing her nails, got a big attitude. Then I stepped in because my friend wasn't going to ask again. Well then Jimmy and I got into it. He called me a bitch, was so rude and unprofessional. I'm disappointed in how the owner reacted. Jimmy needs to be fired for his lack of professionalism. There was no solution to his poor behavior. Jenny is great and if she moves salons I'll see her again but I refuse to go back to a place that treats and allows their employees to act that way. There should have been a discount or something given for the poor experience. But nope nothing, $140 later for two sets of nails. Ridiculous lol My response to the lack of ownership this owner has taken: That's funny, because that's not what you were saying during the service. You repeatedly apologized to both my best friend and me. This was her first time here, and even you acknowledged the experience was unacceptable and apologized for it. I was personally hugged and told "sorry" for the incident, and you even stated that you would handle the situation accordingly. If you have the video, that's great, it will reflect his behavior exactly as I stated from the beginning. He was professional, kind & took great care with doing my manicure & pedicure! They have a lot of beautiful colors & the salon was clean. Kevin helped me choose a beautiful lavender color for my gel manicure. Unlike other nail techs I have had before who rush, he took his time ensuring that it looked perfect & did not skimp out on the coats. & the pedicure was awesome! I wanted a white color but did not want the highlighter white that I have sadly gotten before from other places & I told Kevin this. He found the perfect cream white & everyone has been gushing about how pretty the color is. Okay, so, my soles were mad rough (sorry Kevin!) but he scrubbed them back into smoothness. & he put in the elbow grease with the leg massage, it was wonderful! Kevin is the only one that works during the weekdays so make sure to make an appointment, especially because he is in high demand! I even booked my next appointment right before I left!

I specifically chose the cheapest option on your menu because that's all I wanted. At no point was I told gel polish would be an additional $15, nor was I informed that my total had changed from $31 to $46 before my card was charged. Thank you for proving exactly why I left this review. Rather than acknowledging my experience, you've chosen to post a version of events that conveniently places all the responsibility on the customer. If your communication was as clear as you claim, there wouldn't have been a misunderstanding in the first place. Transparency happens before the payment is processed--not after a negative review is posted.
